This is the second time we have been here. Again, everyone from the cleaning staff to the service, the reception and the Owners themselves were extremely friendly, helpful and sympathetic and respond to all wishes and concerns. The food is great, the rooms pretty and clean and the whole hotel complex really great. And first the weekly program! Especially when you have children and your grandpa with different interests and opportunities, everyone gets their money's worth. While our grandpa hiked everything, our son was canyoning, rafting, mountain biking or Sagway riding, our daughter practically just riding or in the pool. Together we were then archery, summer tobogganing, SUP riding, enjoyed a sauna show infusion, and and and ... It's all organized and you just have to let us know you want to participate. Just a dream!

We've spend a week in the hotel with family and friends. Hotel is really great located, right on the ski slopes, and having all the needed facilities to accommodate skiing. At the same time the rooms are large, clean, staff and the owners family are really friendly providing exceptional service and extra effort to pamper the guests. Food is really well prepared, dinner is gourmet style and really delicious. Every day different menu and activities for everybody. Big kids playground, pool and spa.
Really enjoyed the time spend and will visit again.

... because everything I write is positive. Starting with the reservation (very last minute, direct email contact with the hotel): super quick response and easy confirmation procedure. Check-in was uncomplicated and we really liked that the lady from the reception was showing us around the entire hotel (there is really a lot of amenities so it made perfect sense to do it) before getting to our room. We booked a suite which was either recently refurbished or kept in very good state. Everything spotlessly clean, tasteful interior design, comfortable beds, separate bathroom and toilet, sauna (wow!), balcony, great view towards the valley. Every staff member we met was extremely kind and guest oriented - this matters a lot. Even the hotel manager (owner?) was present many occasions and made sure everybody is fine. The food? Oh my God, the food was amazing. Unlike many hotel which call themselves sport or wellness but still offer unhealthy, low-quality meals, Gartnerkofel was exceptional. There was a great variety of healthy food incl. vegan options, always something there for the kids as well. The days we spent in the hotel went by too fast, there was some may things to be done not only in the area around but also in the hotel: indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, huge children playing area, different programs and activities every day, I can't even list everything as there was so much to be done, check it our yourself. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and were sorry to leave. Btw we left for Croatia and spent a few nice days at the beach. My children said afterwards they liked the mountains much better - is there a better verdict?

The hotel is practically located on the ski slopes. Excellent for waking up in the morning and leaving immediately with your skis on. One day the owner even organized the possibility of skiing from 7.30am (with chairlift open only for hotel guests!) to see the sunrise over the mountains: wonderful! The cuisine is good, especially the fish-only evening, truly exceptional. However, the food is of a high standard, with a buffet breakfast but also with the possibility of ordering additional hot dishes. Good play area for children. The only shame is that the family swimming pool is far from the one for adults and the sauna area (not accessible to those under 14 years old) and this makes it difficult to manage travel between the areas for those with small children.

View very nice place. Don't touch her if she gets a room in the annex. The rooms are all but not worth 4 stars. Entertaining with several family and were all of the same opinion. You can not walk barefoot because otherwise you cut open all your feet and in the cot (bunk bed) above no safety, very dangerous. Equipment simply without words. Maybe the boss who advertises it like that sees it and looks at room 1302 and should say that it is 4 stars. Like I said, too bad...

We have been to the Hotel Gartnerkofel several times. Every time an experience. The ski-in ski-out is simply great. Our wellness suite with sauna + whirlpool bathtub was ideal after a beautiful day of skiing. The breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and afternoon snack leave nothing to be desired. We would particularly like to highlight the dinner, which is at toque level.

The boss always wants to know if everything is OK. The old man and the old woman are lovely. The staff are faultless. The weather is faulty. Never mind, last chance booked next year. The sauna area compensates for the strange weather, swimming at 7 a.m.

Very nice hotel! Nice rooms and great food. Furthermore, many cool activities included such as rafting, archery, various hikes (including one with departure at 4:20 am (first part with treat) and hike to top to see sunrise at 5:35 am and one to mountain hut for picnicking), access to the lifts and tobogganing. There is also a private beach on lake with rental boats with slide. More can be reached by car. An evening there is a delicious bbq. With our family (children aged 7, 9 and 11) had a great week!

Just wow Very friendly and and especially family friendly. For everyone, whether sports cannon or wellness enthusiast. For children there was a great offer from washing pigs on the pasture to a 3 storey indoor playground!
