Bar & Bed is located on the the island's Ao Noi Na, which is accessible by an approximate 15-minute speed boat ride or a 30-minute ferry boat ride from Ban Phe Pier on the mainland. Guests from Koh Samed, Ban Phe, Rayong or even Pattaya, can have an 'out-of-this-world' blast without having to make a long journey. Driving from Bangkok to Ban Phe Pier takes just a little more than 2 hours. Bar & Bed's main entertainment house has been designed to give a feeling of openness, through the unique high ceiling with loft-like roof design, an architectural landmark that is observable while traveling by boat as you approach Koh Samed from Ban Phe Pier on the mainland. The structure is also set to illuminate at night, transforming the island's charming daytime ambience into an exhilarating air of entertainment at night.

First of all the pictures look much better then they actually are!The place is quite far from where you arive and it is quite a task to reach there. The resort is situated on the quite side of koh samet, people should look to stay near the more popular beaches. They have partitioned the place into two parts one for rooms and one for the pool and restaurant. The place with pool and restaurant is nice.the rooms on the other hand are average. The staff of the resorts are nice. They have a good collection of drinks as well but its a bit costly. At night the rooms can be quite spooky and its a bit difficuilt to get around.

Cocktails and drinks was good but overpriced... Cheaper is too drink in pattaya! No wonder the place was empty during our stay there! High prices don’t bring many customers unfortunately! Should be some party and happenings in there but seems like the owner doesn’t think about to earn more money! Place was chill😎

This is very nice hotel, with a small private beach. There were few chairs on the beach. Staff were friendly but didn't speak very good English expect receptionist. Room was clean and looked like in pictures and air conditioner worked well. Wifi didn't work well. Breakfast was simple, but there weren't so many guests so I think that was reason. But still fresh food etc. If you book you'r stay on here, you must know that it is 15minute walk from "Center" where all tourist/restaurants are. And walk to bigger beach is even longer. So this is really quiet place for relaxing. Read few articles about Ko Samed and I thought this hotel is a "party place" and it is not. So prepare for walk/scooter drive if you wanna social life but for quiet relaxing this hotel is excellent!

We had a good 2-days stay there. Hotel is very close to the ao klang pier. Facilities are adequate. Quite a few bean bags, nets, beach beds to relax on. Food was not too bad. It is true that they do not serve everything together. Breakfast was very very basic. We still had a relaxing time. Just need to manage expectations. Room was huge. Hotel grounds was quiet. Location is very quiet. Staff is not properly trained. Some are better than ours.

Had lunch at this terrible resort. The view is nice, that's about it. We were 4, we ordered 2 fried rice and 2 Pad Thai. The first dish came after 15 minutes and then we had to wait another 5-7minutes between each plate. All of us had time to eat alone and finish our plate before the others arrived. Food quantity was very minimal and we left hungry. Price of a pad Thai ? 200 +17% tax and service. Price of a friend rice 160 + fried egg 30 +17% tax and service. 1500 baht check for a simple lunch that took an hour. The staff was slow and inefficient. Had dinner at a restaurant next to this resort just nowz 1800 for a seafood dinner for 7 dishes ordered. Do not waste your time and money and do not eat there when on Samed.
