We stayed at at the Palm Beach hotel on the beautiful island of Praslin and I have to say this has become my most favourite place in the world. It is beautiful and peaceful with the most stunning views over the sea, you can walk to to the beach which is just yards from the hotel . There is a lovely pool. There are canoes you can take out for free. The staff here are amazing . Nothing it too much trouble . My partner had a back injury wjen we arrived and the hotel manager Natasha helped us get medical attention , moved us to a ground floor room and did everything in her power to help us. In fact all the staff and genuinely caring and do all they can for you. You feel nothing is too much trouble. There are many birds who live in the trees around the hotel and they are very tame and beautiful. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The room was very comfortable with air con and fan. I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough and if you ever get the chance to visit the island of Praslin do try and visit The Palm Beach hotel.

Seychelles is worldwide famous for its crystal waters, bowing palm trees and moutya dance.
With 70% of population vaccinated and its secluded beaches,Seychelles becomes the perfect and safest destination for a tropical holiday.

I would advise you to spend 3 days in Mahe,3 in Praslin and 1 or 2 days visit in La Digue .

When in Praslin ,my top recommendation is Palm Beach Hotel ,ideally located in Grand Anse,on the north side of Praslin ,10 min walk from the village ,where you will find everything you need: small markets, bank, take aways with delicious local food and fresh fruits vendors. 🍉🍈🥝🥥

The taxi from ferryboat will cost you 15 -20 euros.

The Palm Beach is a colonial style hotel ,with spacious renovated rooms from where you can enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.(see pictures attached).

Natasha(manager) and Jabed welcomed me with fresh coconut(God s drink ),a large smile and best recommendations for exploring Praslin .

To be honest, customer service and Palm Beach was way better than any other 5 star hotels I tried occasionally in Seychelles, and Natasha aims ghat each guest leaves with an unforgettable memory of Praslin.

You can book this hotel by sending a direct message on Facebook to Palm Beach Hotel ,and Natasha will answer you promptly.

The star of Palm Beach is Jordan,a turtoise of about 90 years old who lives just across the road and is waiting for you every morming to feed his breakfast.🐢

My personal advise is to come to Seychelles from May onwards ,because March and April can be quite rainy.

Hope you have a wonderful time in Seychelles!

A lovely experience from booking-in to departure. Natasha and Javed run the hotel beautifully, so helpful and accommodating in every way. We were tired after about 28 hours of traveling from Europe but the initial impression of the colonial-style hotel, its position right on the beach, the view and colours out to sea, the welcome and the view from the dining terrace more than made up for all the traveling. As an older couple, we appreciate peace and quietness and that's what you get here. (No thumping music and animations - thank goodness). The beach is super and at low tide, you can walk a long way off shore mostly over fine sand. The hotel grounds ae raised slightly above the beach and there was no problem with finding beach beds as there were not many people about during the day and the whole beach was virtually deserted. As the sea is often very shallow the outdoor pool was very welcome for a cooling dip. A large breakfast was served including fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes and the restaurant provides a reasonable range of good food as a set menu or a la carte if you prefer.
All in all, this was probably the most pleasant stay we have had anywhere and as soon as we got there we didn't want to leave.

This room is part of the Palm beach hotel and we booked it through airbnb. It is advertised as being located in the 3rd floor with luxurious sea views but luxury and cleanliness is far from it. I see similar reviews here about the hotel. Staff while checking in was rude and condescending. When we arrived for check in, Jabed at the reception refused to give us the room we booked changing his statements when I was showing proof about the airbnb booking that clearly said third floor with sea view. He somehow seemed reluctant to give us the third floor sea view room which I later found out was given to someone else. First he tried to give us a mountain view room, then he said we have booked standard, third floor are only premium rooms. Then when I insisted that this was what I paid for he reluctantly took us to a room on 2nd floor that was stinking of pee, old dated furniture, clearly unhygienic, ants all over, flat overused pillows and worn towels, no dustbin in room, and no duvet or top sheets provided and not even a bottle of water. The swimming pool is filthy and there were crabs in it. We knew we were being cheated because the room photos advertised on Airbnb was completely different from what was given to us so I went downstairs to show him the room photos of what was advertised in my booking. He again was arrogant and said third floor has mountain view only. Then when I questioned why on the internet and in my booking it is written as sea view third floor, he then says those are deluxe and I have not paid for it. When he has no idea how much I paid which was clearly too much, what rooms I paid for, this was rude and condescending. I went back to my room and after a while he arrives saying that he spoke to the owner and the third floor room that was shown in my original booking has been given to someone else. Extremely unprofessional behavior and feel cheated by the whole experience. We have stayed in 5 hotels and self catering in Seychelles and unfortunately this was the worst experience. It spoilt our praslin trip for us.

I've been reading the other reviews here and yes the pool was filthy and remains filthy and there were crabs in it. The breakfast area is unhygienic with birds eating out of the plates but even though breakfast was limited as someone mentioned it was enough for us and the breakfast staff were polite and welcoming. I liked the fruit platter served every morning. The beach as someone rightly mentioned is barely a beach filled with seaweed but what we got at this location despite the poor quality, bad service, and dishonesty were the great sunsets.

The Palm Beach Hotel is neither good nor bad, i.e. it is average. The hotel itself which has a nice colonial style, is somewhat outdated and due for renovation (which also the owners stated). However, everything functioned to our satisfaction (like aircondition, safe, cold/hot water, shower, toilet, etc). Location of the hotel at Grand Anse is nice and quiet. The beaches close to the hotel are nice, but not tempting to use due to large number of stingrays. It was nice to relax in the hotel garden and pool, but this area could have been better kept and cleaned. The breakfast included with the room was simple, but ok with fruit, toast and eggs at your choice. The restaurant and the solution with fixed dinner menu was expensive, not so tempting and tested only once, however the food served was good. Since we stayed 9 days at the hotel, we ended up with a rental car in 6 of these days and had almost all meals at other different locations on the island. The hotel staff were friendly and especially Natasha was helpful and arranged what we wanted. If you don`t require too much, we will recommend this hotel which is fairly priced in The Seychelles. Are you staying more than 2-3 days in Praslin, we strongly recommend a rental car and drive to various areas of the island like Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, two of the nicest beaches in the world. PS! Palm Beach Hotel has it`s own fleet of (fairly priced) rental cars.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The man at the reception was very nice and helpful. Nothing was a problem for him. The location of hotel is amazing, the wiew from the room also. Food was good.
My wife had some health problems and ewerybody was really helpful and they let us stay in the room on last day until we left and not throwing us out at the time we should normally had to leave the room (I know that most of hotels wouldn't do that regardless of illness).
Once again really thank you for your kindness.

If you want peace and great location this is the hotel for you.

Fantastic. Perfect location facing west (ie sundowns). A personal "home away from home" experience thanks to a truely wonderful staff and management. Great food which could be tailor-made according to ones preferences. Creativity that extended to the bed- and table laying. Breakfasts shared with friendly and chatty birds, at times the odd crab and invariably the faithful and truely chilled Coco (the dog). My heartfelt thanks for making our stay so unforgettable and uniquely special.

What a beautiful little property run by a wonderful father and daughter duo. It has a very homely feeling. The rooms are spacious, clean and all overlooking the ocean.

We also booked a rental car with them and they met us at the Ferry with the car. We drove back to the hotel and were welcomed with a refreshing fresh coconut upon arrival with the most gorgeous views of the sunset.

Javed made sure our meals were fresh and warm and we were well looked after throughout our stay. We had delicious snacks and perfectly made Gin & Tonics every evening at sunset by the water.

Natasha helped us arranged day trips and hikes. She is so helpful and we couldn't haven't had a better trip!

Thank you Natasha and Javed! We will definitely be back! #twocrazywomeninacanoe

My wife and I stayed at the Palm Beach hotel in the middle of our trip to the Seychelles. The property was absolutely lovely and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We booked a rental car direct with the property which worked out amazingly well.

The rooms all have incredible views of the water, it was the highlight of our trip waking up and seeing the ocean in front of us.
