My family of three had a great experience in Palm each. The staff was wonderful in their warmth and hospitality. It is great place to view a glorious sunsets. The each itself is the not the best in Praslin but then Seychelles sets very high standards for pristine beaches! The rooms are decent, not luxurious but again we hardly were in the rooms. Natasha was a great help in assisting us with what to do in Praslin and with arranging car rentals. She was a warm and wonderful host as were the others.

We were there this September, being 8 people tricked by the travel agency My Seychelles. The beach where the hotel is situated at is not recommended, full of sea weed and there is even an evacuation tube at one side. Nobody should travel this far to get to a beach as this one. The hotel staff is also not really friendly. They asked us to pay 70€ in order to transfer us to the hotel we actually had to check into, the, did not let us get a proper cab and only sent us an invoice after several discussions. The pool is dirty too, it smells a lot like bleach, so to sum up it is really not a place to go to when on Praslin.

We stayed through airbnb so the same review could be found on airbnb. Palm Beach Hotel has potential. I will give several pluses and minuses below so that you can get the objective view of the place: Pluses: - It is well-located, just at the ocean side which is pretty nice, - It has nice palm trees between hotel and ocean which makes the view really nice - If you have a ocean view room then it is really a plus and you can enjoy great sunsets from your balcony – absolutely a highlight of the stay - Natasha was super helpful and informed us about key activities, bus tables and others for our stay – she helped us arrange national park visit, booked beaches in Lemuria resort for us and was absolutely helpful and lovely - Rooms are big and have comfortable beds – this is a big plus - Bus stop is just at the opposite of the hotel – if you plan to move around by bus (which I highly recommend and renting a car for 50eur/day is ridiculous as island is small) the place do the work However, there are several downsides which could be tackled if hotel manager / owner paid more attention to the place: - Pool is bad; it is dirty and despite some guy trying to clean it sometimes, it stays dirty. It has a nice location and could be a great place to chill, especially after sunset [pool should also have some better lights, underwater lamps etc. right now it looks poorly after dark] – but right now is a rather more of a pond - Breakfast is so limited that I don’t know what to say; toast bread, butter, 2 jams, 2 types of cornflakes (rather tasteless, not original chocapics) and omelette (this was actually nice) – and that’s it. Sorry, but I have never seen such a modest breakfast buffet. Coffee and tea was rather terrible, plus if you wanted espresso/cappuccino you had to pay extra – normal coffee was not drinkable to be honest. Breakfast is 1,5 stars out of 5 and 0,5 is for the omelette which was pretty nice and good. For 150 eur/night, one can expect absolutely more than this - Area next to the beach is poorly maintained. It has such a potential and with right maintenance this hotel could have more of a resort touch but now with homeless dogs running around and dirty sand it looks cheap; too cheap given the price of stay - Rooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated; although not much but some renovation should be considered - Location of the hotel in terms of food options: poor pizza place [and expensive], two takeaways rather low quality compared to la digue or mahe and hotel restaurant (which we didn’t try due to poor breakfast) Summary: so-so value for money, the best thing is the ocean view from your room and watching sunsets; breakfast and poor maintenance are biggest minuses. Know what to expect before booking – just don’t expect 4 star hotel quality, rather medium 3 star and you won’t be disappointed [despite 4 star price]

A brilliant base to discover Praslin or just chill out. Family atmosphere and unbelievably helpful and friendly staff. Natasha the Manager will treat you to a real Seychelles welcome and attend to all your needs with utter professionalism and warmth. Pretty and large rooms with sea and pool view. The hotel is right on Grande Anse Beach - toes in the water. But it also has a lovely 1.50m deep pool for chilling. Great Seychelles breakfast looking at the sea. They do a very reasonably priced 3 course evening menu - traditional creole food. Kayaks available free of charge for a trip round the bay. Or just take one of the loungers, get a seybrew cold beer from the bar and look out to sea.... Sorted. We’ll be back...

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review of our property. The team & I are delighted that you & your family enjoyed your stay with us. I shall pass on your kind words to the team, especially the chef. We are proud to offer typical creole cuisine to our guests. Kind Regards Natasha
