We booked 2 rooms, all confirmed. When we arrive to the place, the owner said to us she gives us only 1 room becaus she took another booking. She said that we all can sleep together ( we were 1 couple and 1 single lady...). We insisted on having our 2 confirmed rooms, but no way. She already put the other guests (who book after us) inside the rooms. So she left us without accommodation ! We spent a part of our holiday day for searching for other place and lost our time. When we then spoke to other people of accommodation business at Praslin they told us that this person and guest house is not a serious one and is also NOT CERTIFIED by Seychelles authorities for a safe and healthy travel !! So, do not go there !

modest accommodation. very old room decor. very thin bed mattress with very old sheets. only one bathroom to share with 3 other rooms. very old bathroom with very little hot water. dinner was very good nn you have to expect anything elaborated simply it is Creole cuisine. good breakfast. Mrs. Muriel is really super helpful. overall it is acceptable, not forgetting to be in the Seychelles and prices are prohibitive.

A small guesthouse very close to the beach(Cote d’or)bus stop right outside, shops, markets and restaurants close also. Very friendly owner who will help you with whatever matter. Nice garden with lots of small birds everywhere! If you want you can order breakfast right here(super!) Very good wi-fi (free of charge) Nice bathroom outside the room and a nice balcony as well. Well spent rupees!

+ Location just next to anse volbert, bus stop near - and bus can take you easily to anse lazio, georgette or to Valle de Mai. Dinner for extra 20EUR/pp good choice to try local cuisine - we used it once and were happy with that choice. Overal Mrs. Muriel very helpful and good host. - To clarify - we were happy to stay there and would go there again, but few remarks: > there are two buildings run as guesthouse, one by the road and one little uphill next to it. Only the one down has a wifi, be aware of it and make sure you get that one, even though the road can be noisy during night. We were uphill and had to go down every time we wanted be online, bit uncomfy. > Bed was a bit hard and there were "old smell" in the sleeping room. It was possible to get fresh air inside, but still a bit uncomfy. All in all good value for money! 4 out of 5 fits!

I really enjoyed my two weeks spent Chez Muriel Guest House. Beautiful place, very quiet, near the beach, near Berjaya Hotel. We were served a nice breakfast and tasty dinner with lots of fresh fish. Very kind host and friendly too. You can ask Muriel to help you with your laundry. However, there's no AC and you have to share bathrooms (there are 2 sets). If you want peace, nature, beach, sea, food, exotic island, kindness, wifi, comfortable house at an affordable price, it's the place to go with your family. Highly recommended.
