I can only support everyone else's 5 star reviews. This is a truly exceptional hotel delivering exceptional service and superb food. I have only a few tips: - try and stay here over the weekend so you can enjoy the day trip to their private island Grande Soeur which is worth the extra expense. - book half board, you wouldn't want to go anywhere else on island and food is really excellent, almost Michelin standard, lovely atmosphere too. - bring your driving licence so you can make most of comp car hire and drive around island - I'm sure all rooms are great but we had bungalow no 10 after reading previous reviews. It is on the end of the 'row' of 4 bungalows so has larger and more private terrace to side and floor to ceiling window in bedroom - You may wish to consider 2 centre holiday since this hotel is not on beach or with large pool (for any sensible swimming), though the lagoon pool was a lovely experience. Also we booked second hotel on Mahe which was more convenient for departing international flight. - don't bother taking the boat from Mahe to Praslin, there are only a couple services, we were told you can't see anything, boat times can adjust and you can be kept waiting a long time. Take the plane, very frequent service, much quicker, easy and nice views flying over. Finally, a thank you to ALL the team at Le Chateau de Feuilles, all charming, helpful, efficient, we had such a lovely time.

This must be one of the most gorgeous places in the world. We were among the last visitors to vacate the property due to the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic. The owner and staff took the time to advise us of the risk we faced with transportation options rapidly diminishing. We opted to re-locate 2 days before our scheduled check out to the main island of Mahe to await our international flight home. We beat the shutdown of Emirates Airlines by 48 hours. With 2 spare days to go before our flight home we checked into a 5 star beachfront hotel on Mahe not too far from the airport. Although comfortable it did not hold a candle to the charm and uniqueness of Chateau de Feuilles. We only got to enjoy two dinners at the Chateau. In hindsight I would have chosen dinner included as driving at night was scary. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide selection. Fresh fruit platters and homemade yogurt were my favorites, and my husband enjoyed their homegrown eggs. One little thing that would have made our abbreviated stay more enjoyable would have been fresh milk or cream for the Nespresso coffee maker in the room rather than powdered CoffeeMate which I find to be inedible and not worthy of a gourmet inn. We also found it a mild annoyance to only be offered very expensive bottled water with dinner. Other than those minor details we found Le Chateau de Feuilles to be a truly wonderful place with gracious service. We are saddened to have had our stay cut short after months of anticipation.

The level of service was incredible! From the moment we got there, we were waited on hand and foot. No request was too much trouble. We arrived via Zil Air, for us this was a great shout as we landed in Mahe at 7am and the first ferry was at 11am. Greated at the heliport we headed straight to breakfast and they got us checked in nice and early. The attention to detail at the hotel was amazing. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere very cozy. It's rustic and chic. The food was unbelievable! Breakfast was great, all so fresh as they have a mini farm on site so fresh eggs every morning! The discovery dinner menu is not to be missed either. Whilst there we rented a car and explored the island. Top beach to visit is Anse Lazio and top restaurants to try out Le Rocher for lunch and Les Lauriers for their buffet dinner. The latter being great value for money, something not easily said in Seychelles. I would highly recommend this hotel for your retreat. The ultimate get away. Many thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome. Especially Avi and Jiv.

A lovely location in the Seychelles. We arrived by helicopter to their helipad and was met with cold towels and a drink on the helipad. Our chalet had its own pool, fridge etc with a lovely view across the Indian Ocean. The staff met our every need and the restaurant was fantastic with excellent food and drink. There were two other pools plus the expected spa (with another small pool). The deal included a car so we were able to see the rest of the island.

Four of us spent 8 magical days in this special place. We arrived by helicopter which was such a lovely way and mounted a few steps to Paradise🌞 We had our own villa with a pool outside looking out to sea. From the moment we stepped into the reception hall we were engulfed into the most amazing and unique experience. Cedric, the owner, and his exceptional staff looked after us as though we were royalty. All the staff, who multi task, were exceptional. The attention to detail in the decor, the crockery, the furnishings and even the clothes the staff wore were fabulous. The food was Michelin standard and so varied and healthy, being mostly grown on site. Even our eggs were laid by the resident chickens.
