We are a Canadian Team of 40 from Ontario and stayed for 10 days. The staff could not do enough for us enabling us to relax and prepare for racing! The food was great, breakfast was delicious. Buffet at night for 2700. Central to all including across from bus terminal, 10 minute walk from train station, several grocery and hardware type shops and bakeries!
I enjoyed this hotel and its included pools & soaking area. There is a sauna too. It is a great place to go if you are planning to visit the Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park. The breakfast/dining room is pleasant with windows to the outdoors. I like this type of boutique hotel, not a "corporate" enterprise. The staff speaks English and is very helpful.
We spent one night in Kistelek before our visit to the Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park the other day. The service was excellent and the staff was very polite. Whenever we had anything to ask we always got either a prompt solution or an accurate and detailed answer in short time. This night there was a self-service buffet-dinner with a bit of a narrow but very good selection. The buffet-breakfast was also fresh and tasty. The double bed room was really spacious and there was more than enough storage for two. Everything was clear and nice and the room was equipped with air conditioner, mini-bar, television and free Wi-Fi. The walls were unfortunately not too thick, because when the neighbors were watching a night show their excited discussion was well hearable. The bathroom was simple with all the basics - only the shower head sadly had no place to hang up to, thus taking shower was a bit challenging at certain points. The hotel has direct connection to indoor pools with both hot and cold water and there is also sauna there - which is a very nice extra and we really enjoyed staying there. The area is not too much big (1 swimming pool + 1 hot spring pool + 1 pool for kids and another one with hydro-massage) but we were lucky because it was not crowded. Perhaps on other days when it is not as rainy as it was this afternoon there are much more visitors from outside the hotel as well. We traveled there by train - the station is only a 10 minute walk. The bus station is also just right at the other side of the nearby junction. The hotel also has parking lot as we saw. This hotel is more than an excellent starting point if you decide to visit the nearby National Heritage Park which opens at 10:00 AM. Ask the reception if they have discount coupons for your visit in the Park.…
Stayed few days for business. Breakfast was ok so was the dinner in a restaurant. Stayed on autumn but the rooms were warm. There was a swimming/spa attached but I never tried that as I did not have time for it. Not even sure if it was included in my room or not. Some shops and restaurants nearby.
