Basic but beautiful. Love the tiki reception, having my breakfast while overlooking the beach with that lovely breeze was a great experience. Thank you so much for meeting us at 6am and letting us check in early! Really helpful and very laid back. Mancora is a bit of a party town so it was nice to be up on the...

We arrived at 5 in the morning without reservation. The friendly night guard called the owner and carried my backback up the hill! Although we had one of the cheaper bungalows we had lots of space and a huge bed. After a good sleep we saw the amazing view at day light. Beautiful hills, the town and the ocean, all...

What sort of traveller are you? If you're looking to party hard at night, come back at 4am and the next day have somewhere with lovely views to hang out at this is a great choice! If you want somewhere quiet to sleep be aware that between 11pm and 4.30am (all nights of the week) the noise from the clubs...

Instead of a classic two weeks on a paradise beach, for our honeymoon, my wife and I spent three months travelling around South America. After the dizzy heights (literally) of the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu this was where we stayed for a well earned few days of relaxation - and what a fantastic piece of luck we had. It...

We chose Kontiki Hostel like most guests for the location up the hill away from the loud party noises of Mancora. We were not disappointed by the views as they were truly magnificent and worth the visit. We received an email prior to our arrival offering pick up from the bus drop off. We then got in contact with the...

The owners are super friendly and helpful. Speaking perfect Engilsh also doesn't hurt :) The place is really cozy with a great view over Máncora. The walk up there is steep but short. They offer free pick up so we never had to walk with our luggage. It is nice to be a little bit away from the party noices...

We booked 1 night here but stayed 3. Yuri and his family are wonderful hosts who helped with anything asked of them. The bungalows have amazing views of the town and beach and provide an oasis from the loud partylife of Mancora. Clean, safe, welcoming and comfy. It took 5 minutes to walk from downtown to our bungalow in flipflops...

You get great views from this hilltop location. The owners are friendly and are happy to pick you up/drop you off at the bus stop. The accommodation itself is quite basic, but clean enough. However, the mattresses (two singles pushed together) were terrible. In fact, one had nothing but big metal springs biting into you as soon as you laid...
