Hotel lies at the entrance/exit of mancora but good restaurants and bars are close; Room had decent size, inventory was somewhat older but still in good condition, no safe; view and proximity to the beach were fantastic

This is a truly peaceful, safe and kind place just in front of the surf break, so you couldn't be closer to the waves and than this. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is kind and you get all the hammocks you need to rest in the shade of palm trees. If you are looking for a party... More

Las Olas was truly an amazing family-run hotel right on the beach in Mancora, Peru. My husband, 4-year-old son, and I stayed there for 10 days during the off season in September 2016. We were extremely impressed with the facilities and the staff!!! The rooms are spacious, clean, with beautiful views, and simple, tasteful decor. The king-size bed was comfortable,... More

I wanted a relaxing vacation and got more than what I expected. Extremely relaxing place. Hipnotizing sunset view. Perfect breeze, ocean view and sound. Owner was very helpful. Excellent clean place. Waking up and the first thing I see is the ocean. Priceless !!!! Will go back again.

Safety: Mancora can be slightly sketchy, especially at nighttime, but the security and location of Las Olas was perfect. It's right on the beach, but at night you must enter from the road, which is a very short walk/tuk tuk ride from the very small town center. Just beware of where you are/how to get home/who to trust, and to... More

The room was nice and the hotel itself has a lovely outlook onto the beach but it's the bad service and angry atmosphere that lets this hotel down. If you can look past the owners fighting and yelling at their staff then this is the place for you. Being woken up at 6am to fighting is not very nice. The... More

Our rooms, the restaurant, the location, the beach and surfing, sitting on the balcony, the sunset etc. were fantastic and especially the hospitality of the manager and the staff. It is a small and very cosy place - not with too many people and where you really can relax. We had one room with a view over the sea -... More

I came here for a few days of R&R on the beach after 3 weeks in Peru. Booked 3 nights beginning Friday even though I wouldn't arrive until early Saturday morning on the Oltursa bus. Took a taxi to the hotel about 6 am and was met by the security guard who found my name on the list, gave me... More

This hotel is right on the beach, you could not ask for a better location. The rooms are comfortable and kept clean for guests. The property is safe and secure, and each night there is a security guard walking the grounds. Plenty of hammocks for rest and relaxation, as well as beach chairs on the beach or on the patio... I would love to give this place 5 stars, its beautiful, in the perfect location, right on the beach, lovely grounds. My room had a huge balcony and it had hammocks and everything you'd expect. But my room was SO HOT I couldnt sleep. Outside was absolutley swarming with mosquitos so we couldn't open the doors but it was unbareable.... More
