Detailed Reviews
I visited with my best friend for her birthday and we had a wonderful stay.
1) The staff was very friendly and as we walked around property they asked if we were ok and if we were having fun. Jay at the restaurant took care of us and made us feel at home.
2) If you are looking for a rustic and simple the rooms are perfect with a breath taking view. It is very peaceful to relax and clear your mind.
3) The food and drinks was lovely, pizza is a must try if you like thin crust pizza then this is for you... Chris made a mouth watering pizza.
4) They have 2 pools on property but unfortunately at the time of our visit one was been worked on but nevertheless we enjoyed the other one. The pool was kept cleaned. One suggestion a jacuzzi would be nice on the property.
This was our first time and I can say for sure it won't be our last.
Thank you for having us

Lashing's Boutique Hotel is where you go if you want to get a way from it all. It's not an all inclusive but it's the ideal location if you just want to relax and enough the atmosphere with a few friends and have a few drinks especially during happy hour where all alcoholic beverages are 2 for 1 specials (Latoya Car Crash is amazing). My favorite part of Lashing's are the pool areas where you can enjoy yourself for hours splashing in the pool and having drinks and food delivered poolside. If you want beach access, they will accommodate you by driving you to their secondary location Lashing's Beach Club. The hotel offers something for everyone especially if you want to experience local ecotourism. Every room has its own unique aesthetic. Only thing I wish I was able to enjoy there that wasn't offered was football, cricket or other recreational sports played at the BREDS Complex from the comfort of my room or pool area.

We feel so blessed to have stayed at Lashings.
We arrived late after driving ourselves from Kingston airport and were greeted by Shanakay who made us feel very welcome and showed us to the penthouse two bedrooms villa where we stayed for a week with our Son.
We had an amazing time and Shanakay suggested a few activities for us during our stay which were all fantastic.
We would not hesitate in revisiting.
David and Lisa, the owners, and their team of staff were brilliant - Lashings is a must for anyone visiting Treasure Beach. Food was wonderful, nothing was to much trouble.
If there has to be one negative thing, it would be that we would have preferred a room with a private toilet rather than the open plan bedroom/bathroom design that we had, but that would not stop us returning.
The dogs were an added bonus, so friendly and amusing.

We are not the guests that usually write bad reviews but this place is so over hyped it has to come down to earth. The hotel is lovely but the customer service and food is terrible.
It all started from check in, my husband had emailed before to let them know is our anniversary, they said they will decorate the room and give us a complimentary dessert with it. When we arrived in the evening our room wa not ready and we of course thought it was because they was getting it ready for us with the decoration and dessert. 20 min after when we get access to the room, there is nothing insideand not even apology for the delay. She never apologize even when my husband remember her about the anniversary and the promise of the decoration.
For dinner, the restaurant was so unorganized, my husband ordered pizza and specifically asked the waiter how the pizza was done as he is Italian and said if it's thin and nothing special please tell me and I choose something else. The waiter said is their best choice and the pizza was uneatable. Dough made of patty dough, like a butter bottom crust. Anyhow the worst experience was with the girls from the bar. I asked to order a drink and one was sleeping at the bar and the other told me go up and order, I said sorry but this is not the bar? Yes but you have to go up and order if you want rum. Sorry what type of customer service are you teaching your staff? I look at her and said who's job is this? Mine or yours that you are also 2 at the bar and it's nothing to do. She woke up her sleeping colleague and went up for the order. For breakfast the next morning we order food and said we will be eating by our room. The waiter left the food on the table by the pool and shouted is ready, we was in the shower and said can you please bring it to our table as we are with the towels. She just turn around and left. The omelet is a joke, dry and nothing inside. Honestly I had so much expectations of this beautiful place until I understood how poor management it is. With a beautiful place like that is such a shame you don't train your staff properly. We live in Jamaica and will not be returning there as the staff spoiled our much needed relaxation for 3 days. Shame...
Is so strange that you have a fridge in the room but is FORBIDDEN to consume food or drink not purchased on property.
Also strange that when you go in, you have Beautiful art that is completely ruined from to super huge picture of the owner. Really megalomaniac.
We of course went to eat outside for the rest of our stay as the restaurant staff was one of the worse we experienced in Jamaica.
Treasure beach luckily has plenty good restaurants where to go.

Referred by a friend, I decided to book two nights at the beach club to celebrate a significant personal milestone. I later added a third night at the main property so I could enjoy the full Lashings experience. The website indicated that renovations were ongoing that would not impact the stay. Despite frequent communication with the staff prior to/ and at initial check in (main hotel), it was never mentioned that the beach club would not be available until the afternoon of day 2 when it was time to be transported to that location. By this time, I had no transportation, and no time to make any other arrangements . (I also had dinner reservations for party of 14 that evening in the restaurant so I had to stay anyway). The construction-related excuse I was given, seemed suspicious, but even if true, should have been communicated to me in a more timely and straightforward manner, so one would have time to adjust and not feel stuck/ scrambling last minute to make alternative arrangements. I was determined not to allow the situation to ruin my trip, and I made the best of things but did cancel my third night as I was not getting the experience that was advertised/ paid for. I respectfully expressed my profound disappointment to reception and asked to be compensated for this major inconvenience - I was offered a complimentary breakfast the next day. While I don't feel this was adequate, I was gracious and kept it moving, but felt it was necessary to share my experience. (On a side note, I am quite aware of the water issues in JA, but the loud, inescapable noise of the water trucks for hours that afternoon made it impossible to relax.) On the positive side - all the staff I interacted with (to a person) provided good quality service throughout my stay, the room was clean, the view spectacular, and the food was enjoyable.

My family and I were really looking forward to our stay at Lashings since we had heard many great things. We stayed a few nights at a different hotel in Treasure Beach before our arrival to Lashings. We did arrive awhile before check in time since we had to checkout of our other hotel. We knew there would be some wait time and prepared to eat at the restaurant and hangout. We were served and no one came back to check on us at all. We eventually walked away from the table and sat in a lounge area since we had our 2 younger children with us. We did overhear a guy who appeared to be an owner or manager tell the reservation person that there was guy who needed a room or larger room. Asked her “Do you know who he is? He’s like 7ft tall”. We didn’t think much of this initially. After a couple of hours my husband and I decided to ask the status of our room in hopes that it might possibly be ready soon. Otherwise we would go ahead and let the kids go to the pool. Upon my husband’s return from asking he had a strange look on his face. Apparently the reservation person was rude and stated bluntly “I told you 3:00 is check in”. My husband is the most easy going and rarely gets upset. Soon after the reservations person called me over and said let me show you the rooms that we have for you to choose from. I was confused but thought great, our room is ready after all. I mentioned that I didn’t realize that there is more than one “Deluxe Family Room”. She said oh I thought you just had a regular room with A/C... For 4 people mind you...I told her that we only booked because of the family room that could fit my family. She said “oh that’s not available” Thinking to myself...So we’ve been waiting for hours for you to tell us that you don’t have a room for us? I asked if there were any other options for us and she said there were not. So I asked to be refunded so we can find accommodations elsewhere. She said there was a no refund policy. I then reminded her that THEY are the ones who do not have our room available. She said that she would speak to her supervisor. They did refund us. Which is the only right thing to do since they likely gave our room to the 7ft guy. Anyway, a nice lady tracked us down as were walking to the car saying she would like to make it right. Offered us a suite that they are renovating and could pull a bunk bed in there from somewhere. At that point the kids were already in their car seats so we thanked her and respectfully declined as we proceeded 2.5 hours to Negril in search of a place to conclude our vacation.

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful treasure of a hotel- My first observation was the elevation of its location and how easy it puts you into relax mode, breathtaking views of the coastline highlighted by the blue water from the caribbean sea. Check was a breeze and the front desk staff were very warm and accommodating. We were at the room in no time, OMG! Boutique Villa # 3 located directly in front of the infinity pool. the room was very clean and comfortable and proved just right for my partner and i. after settling in, we made our way upstairs to the Tree Top Bar for happy hour, solid cold beers and other mixed cocktails were another bout of warm welcome, all meals were thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. (The coconut curry goat and their pizza is a must have)
The property is nicely maintained and grounds kept very clean, entire staff is fun to chat with, also David the owner who takes the time out interact with all guests. wonderful entertainment on Friday and Saturday from Steve the Sax player.
Will definitely return- Thanks for a wonderful stay Team Lashings!

As a regular/repeat guest, I can honestly say Lashings is the best value for money stay on the island! 🏝
A quint, rustic, boutique resort hotel w/ both a hilltop & beach view element this spot has a bit of everything for everyone.
With indigenous cuisine such as Treasure Beach’s signature ‘jerk fish’ headlining the menu, Lashings kitchen has a wide array of tantalizing selections for both food & beverage (unique local mixology).
Must do: Jazz Night🎷🎶; Floyd’s Pelican Bar🥃; Black River Safari🐊; YS Falls🌊

I had a great stay here with my partner and daughter. Beautiful rooms, nice views, tonnes of art to look at and a perfectly appointed pool. The owner was a very pleasant man, staff were also friendly. I'm not keen on dogs (my baby and I are both scaredy cats) but they thankfully were not an issue. We ended up booking an extra night. The food however was bland for island food, portions small, burgers processed and not fresh.Unfortunately I waited an hour food which came cold but it was a busy night. The hotel had a good lively ambiance. Yet once tucked away in my room it was pleasantly peaceful. I did enjoy my mint tea made with fresh mint and the lovely Jamaican style hot chocolate. I would certainly return when I'm on the South Coast, hospitality and cleanliness were on point.

Thank you, Dave, your lovely wife, and all of the Lashings team! You have singularly bridged the gap between the wealthy and working-class tourists without compromise in Treasure Beach, providing a wide variety of quality service choices and honest and fair pricing. You've created tons of employment in the community with a twist of unique style, plus you've created healthy well-needed competition. I wish you continued success. You've earned it! You are a true legacy.
