Maybe you’ve heard that Treasure Beach, Jamaica is a magical place. We like to think we had a hand in making some of the magic. It’s certainly had a hand in making us. Please come and visit Jakes to see for yourself. Rooms. Beautiful rooms. Rooms with Ocean Views. South Coast, Jamaica, Deluxe Ocean Views. Garden views. Funky nomad-style design. Bohemian-inspired interiors. We put the bang in Bungalows. History lives in our Cottages. We have Roots. Alex Haley’s Roots. And charm. Have we mentioned that our Rooms and Bungalows and Cottages and Villas are all terribly, terribly enchanting? And wildly comfortable, too. You won’t want to leave.

The Experience was out of this world....My son and his family visited from Florida and I went with them and we had a ball.Loved the cottage (Calabash Cottage) which is located overlooking the beach and was just a few steps away. The customer service was exceptional !!! Both front desk and personal service from the two gentlemen who looked after us daily....Davion and Damion....checking in to make sure all was well. Rooms were comfortable...and great beds to sleep on ( as i have a bad back) Plum tree was a plus for me as I enjoy Jamaica red coat plums. Ready to return at anytime.....loved the experience. Jack Sprat restaurant was just a walk away and was a pleasure to go to and relax by the sea for a difference in meals from our home cooked meals. Great service there too.

We traveled here with another couple. We stayed in a duplex style home, they were next to us, yet we had our own place. Loved the open air rooms. We felt safe enough to leave our window and doors open during the night so we could feel and hear the ocean breeze come in. The food here is crazy gourmet good (every time!) and the restaurant is open all day long. We also ate at Jack Sprats, they have the best jerk chicken and pineapple pizza. Patrice was our favorite server at Jakes- very friendly and attentive. It was never, ever busy in any of the areas-there was always a place to sit and chill or eat. The housekeeping did a nice job cleaning each day. We explored the nearby beaches by foot and the resort arranged a boat ride to the Pelican bar for us four. We walked to purchase clothes down the rural road and felt very safe. We tried a yoga class with Empress who lead our class perfectly. The sunsets are amazing! The place feels so relaxed and dreamy. We loved that there aren’t any tv’s in the rooms, but for those who want to watch tv it is available is a separate building. The WiFi When needed is quick and always working. Many books to read. People from all over the world were staying here. Each building is unique and private, some even more private than others. We stayed in the starfish which was closer to the restaurant area and worked perfectly for us. It’s like time stands still here. I’d love to return. The price is a steal in comparison to what you get out of the stay!

I spent 4 nights in the Seaweed Villa with 5 of my best friends. None of us had been to Jake's Resort before let alone Jamaica. When we arrived Darren from the resort was at the airport to pick us up. Our flight was super early and he was already there waiting for us! When we got to the resort the staff for the villa was waiting for us with drinks and showed us around. Let me tell you about this AMAZING group of people. Adrian was the concierge and was available any time we needed him. Aaron and Daniel stayed at our villa every day and stopped at nothing to make our vacation memorable. They were sweet, nice, funny and made us feel so comfortable and safe. Tosha cooked us all of our delicious meals and I've never eaten so well in my life! The beds were comfortable, clean pool towels at the start of every day. Our own pool, our own hot tub. The house was cleaned every single day, turned down every night. We ate at Jack Sprats twice which is right next to Jakes Resort and it was so good! Sitting right by the beach, with lanterns hanging in the trees, chill music and a wonderful staff as well. The vibe of that entire city was so delightful and happy and I honestly can not wait to go again. Best experience of my life!

Jakes is a super relaxed and laid back resort. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food at Jakes as well as at Jack Sprats was very good. Stayed in Octopus 1 and loved it. Extremely private, right on the water. A very cool and funky vibe!
