You know you are staying somewhere special when you hesitate to write a review because you don’t want a place to become wildly popular, but we have to give kudos to Treasure Tours for their exceptional customer service and for delivering a great experience. Villa du Soleil has some of the most beautiful views and is actually located over the water. We spent the majority of our time at the pool or in the sea, but while in the house, we were almost exclusively on the veranda where we ate meals, played dominoes and slept. While there are two nicely appointed bedrooms, we chose to sleep out in the open with the sounds of the waves crashing. Shantel and Everton, the cook and caretaker are wonderful people. Shantel prepares delicious breakfasts and dinners (the lobster and ox tail were particularly amazing) and Everton does a great job of taking care of the property. We have taken fun boat excursions and Everton always accompanies us (the boat picks you up on your beach). The beach is protected by a reef which makes it great for swimming and the pool is large and beautiful. If you are looking for a stunningly beautiful and relaxing place to decompress, this is it. We have stayed at very nice all-inclusives in the past, but having stayed at Villa du Soleil the past 2 years, it would be very hard to ever go back to a resort. If you go, be sure to check out the Pelican Bar and get the jerk chicken pizza at Jack Sprat!

We have been to Treasure Beach before, but this was our first stay in a villa (as opposed to a guesthouse, as per last year.) Villa du Soleil was wonderful. Among all the spaces there are for relaxation (Pool, beach, sundeck/patio, etc.) we particularly loved the verandah leading out from the main living area, "overhanging" the sea. Gorgeous views, great pelican watching and this is where we spent most of our time, reading, chilling out or enjoying Chantal's amazing meals. In my opinion, the meals cooked for us morning and evening by Chantal were way better than what we would get in any restaurant (although I do love Gee Whizz) and Chantal tailored the meals to our seafood/fish/scotch bonnet-loving tastes. The highlight of our meals was the garlic lobster Chantal cooked for my husband's birthday and the carrot cake she "commissioned" from her grandmother for the occasion. The whole villa was spotless and Everton looked after the outside area, making sure there was always a clean pool for us to swim in. The only niggle was the water pressure in the bathroom meant that the shower was a dribble at times. I'm sure this could be remedied easily though, as water pressure from the kitchen tap was fine. We had a car, but didn't really drive into 'town', choosing to walk (about 1/2 hour for us) or riding the bicycles we hired through Jakes. We felt very safe, relaxed and looked after, with Treasure Tours on hand aswell, to make sure everything went smoothly. Better wi-fi than at home too!! Would highly recommend.

I went on this trip for my college nursing degree and it was absolutely perfect. The house was amazing and beautiful. The view was something you would see out of a movie. The community was the best part. They felt like my own family. Im in love with this place and I will be coming back soon for many years!11

Where do I begin? Let’s start with the view! Unbelievable!!! You just can’t get any better! The villa sits directly over the ocean. You hear the sound of the ocean and watch the waves break as you sit on the veranda having your fresh brewed Jamaican coffee, the pelicans beautifully flying by and perched on the dunes, the boats coming and going out to sea, stunning sunsets every night, the stars at night illuminating the sky and the dolphins giving a spectacular show as they played in the ocean! That’s only the beginning! Shantell is a fabulous cook! She catered to our every need. The food was delicious! My daughter doesn’t eat meat and Shantell cooked a different fish every night just for her. The veggies where fresh from the farms that surround the villa! For breakfast once again any request you have Shantell will fulfill! Fresh fruit picked from the trees in the yard. We had freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and fresh brewed Jamaican coffee was to die for! Shantell also made sure we had plenty to drink! Red Stripe and Cream Rum were our favorites and we always had plenty on hand and in hand. Shantell also had drinks waiting for us and makes a great smoothie (with Rum cream) that is delicious! Papa is the grounds keeper. Don’t be fooled by the name Papa though, because he is young and full of energy. Papa helped us organize rides as we enjoyed going to the local bars at night. One night we had stayed too long at Fisherman’s bar (great place to hang out) and with one phone call he was there to take us home! Papa also went along with us to Black River and Pelican Bar and it was nice just having him there with us. Papa takes care of the pool. The pool is always emaculate! The only problem with the pool is that you have to make a decision every day. Do I go to the ocean or do I go to the pool? Decisions decisions! Omar was also a big help with rides. We needed to go into town several times to use the ATM and he made himself available at all times. He also took us to YS Falls and Little Ochies. One evening we wanted to go to several local bars and he graciously drove us around to Eggies, Jack Sprats and Jakes! If you go to Treasure beach make sure you visit these bars as we had a great time! One place we didn’t get to was Smurfs but we will get there next time. The Villa itself is very comfy! The veranda is furnished with a dining room table so we could enjoy our meals by the sea. It has a sitting area with comfy chairs and a day bed so you can lay, relax, and listen to the ocean. There are also 2 hammocks on the sun deck to relax in or read a book. My daughter did her yoga workouts everyday on the sundeck. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds! Both bedrooms open to a deck on the side of the house. Once again a great view from the side deck. Living room area has a comfy sofa and love seat. Flat screen TV (which we never really watched) we were able to watch DVD’s but I was told that the villa was getting internet and TV very soon. Communication with Treasure Tours was a pleasure. They answered both emails and phone calls promptly even if it was a weekend. Rebecca from Treasure Tours was there for us if we needed her but we really didn’t need her as all of our needs were met by Shantell, Papa, and Orman. I do want to give a shout out to Captain Terry as he took us on a fantastic boat ride to Black River and Pelican bar. He had to tell us it was time to go as darkness was getting close! We were having such a wonderful time that we did not want to leave!! On our trip with Captain Terry we saw dolphins which came up to the side of our boat and we also saw crocodiles at Black River. If you get a chance, go to Errol’s! You will love it! Last but not least are the Locals of Treasure Beach! We had a blast with them! Very friendly and they welcome you with open arms! I could go on forever with the different experiences we had! We have so many great memories about Treasure Beach! We will be back soon!!!

My husband and i recently returned from a visit to villa sable for a week. It was our first time not going to an all inclusive and have been to Jamaica many times. This was the best experience we've ever had! The staff were fabulous and everyone made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The house was more beautiful and spacious than expected and the outside property was incredible! The pelicans on the reefs in front of our deck, the unexpected paths with gardens with beautiful foliage all around you, the landscape architecture was beyond impressive and the sweet scent of flowers everywhere was delicious but not as delicious as Petrinas cooking! We felt safe and secure at home and walking all around Billy's Bay. Snorkling on your own beach was wicked cool! With all the many times we've been to Jamaica this is the first time I feel that i got to experience the heart and soul of the people who are proud, hard working and that share a true sense of community that I totally fell in love with. We made some good friends and can't wait to go back! I will never go to an all inclusive again!
