I was very impressed by this hotel. How the managers handled a complained I had for the room I was given first, they didn’t stop until they fulfilled my request. The best of the best. I want to go back, their food is very good, rooms are very clean and the hotel is located in a very good area of the city. Great facilities and amenities. Courteous staff. Great breakfast that was included. I appreciated the van shuttle to the airport. I liked the caution regarding Covid. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again.
Originally booked with Holdepa Centro plaza they were closed down and I didn’t know. Checked in spoke to the manager eventually, very nice person and upgraded the room. I still wasn’t happy, so I spoke with front desk to get a menu for room service. I ordered food and I expected to pay 850 dominican pesos but ended up spending 1,800 pesos because the price of their food went up and that I was told I was looking at the wrong menu. I will never stay here again, it was misleading the whole time.
I grew up in Santiago but this was my first stayed. Let tell you that this hotel is great. The rooms are impecable. The new COVID standards are outstanding. The food by the restaurant close to the elevator was amazing. The breakfast is included and it was amazing. The personnel is so polite and helpful. I got a massage and the lady was amazing I came back to the states feeling like new. Even my shoulder and neck pain went away. I live the security in the hotel. I was amazed. As a native I should feel proud with a place like this that offers such amazing service. I will definitely visit more often. I don’t care if my grandma gets mad that I didn’t stayed with her. The hotel was worthy. I can see her when she visits the states. LOL
Having the worst experience in customer service ever, having to call 4 times to front desk to ask for a menu in a restaurant, which I was told during checking in that was open until 1am, no one could help me or transfer a call to the right department, hanging up on me multiple times. Going down to speak with someone in the front desk asking to speak to a Reception Manager and GIOVANNI, one of the from desk sent me to the security, with sarcasm all the time tried to fool me and disrespectfully disregard my concern. When transferred no one in the other side of the phone spoke or knowledge my call or identify himself on the phone, and I was transferred yo room service when I never ask for. Why the lack of everything n a place which call itself a luxury spot, why offer information during check in when isn’t verified or not accurate. The representatives don’t know the day that the guest had and why the guest are not helpful at all. Me being Dominican I am embarrassed of the service of this place and if they treated me that way, how could they treat other nationalities. Shame on the actions and the way how they disrespected a simple request as to see the menu of the restaurant which was open at that time. I work for a company which brings a lot of business everyday to this hotel, but I think is time to pass the message about how really they treat customers.…
