We had the most amazing week at Pinery so much to see and do and the beach is out of this world great waves and sand to kick back and relax . Our camp site was great large and clean . Can't wait to book here again

Not much to do there. Trails are miserable. Dying forest. Dead and rotting trees everywhere. Millions of wood roaches on and in tent due to decaying trees left next to each site after they were cut out. Flies like I have nevr seen. Bring a gazebo for meals. Lots of weeds everywhere. The beach is extremely narrow and also littered... More

You never know till you go. First to get into this park..you plan 5 months in advance to book the dates you desire. You time your online booking when the window is open to do so....early morning c7am is best, especially if its a group and you want to be located in the same area. Lots are adequately priced and... One of our favourite camping parks in Ontario. Pinery Provincial Park is a "Provincial" Park and so you do not get full hookups (water and electrical only) for your RV but the beach is awesome, camp sites are safe and patrolled by Park Rangers. The Day Camp section is also very nice. Lots of Hiking Trails as well as Bicycle... More

My family and I have camped at the Pinery 3 times now and have enjoyed our stay. The facilities are clean and we'll maintained. There is a lot of poison ivy as my son discovered. The beaches are beautiful. If you want to be close to the beach...try to book a Dunes site, as all the other areas are quite... More

I was booked for a week and stayed 4 days. The dog beach was way too far to drive to each day 30 minutes not even kidding. The beach had no shore to sit down the water of course was beautiful along with the sunset. The bathrooms were flushed toilets a treat. The amphitheater nature evening don't do it if... More

We have camped here for many years, the sites are large and spacious but book up very quickly. The Dunes sites are great with the sand dunes right at the back of your site to climb over to many miles of beach. The beach you can walk for hours, the kids walked the 7km to Grand bend along the beach....long... More

For a large recreational provincial park, the invasive Poison Ivy was literally everywhere. Campsites and trails were surrounded in thick blankets of this plant. We had to walk through a dense mass of the plant to get to the electrical post. Trails and boardwalks had the plant hanging over them. Also, if you camp with a fifth wheel or motor... More

All of the staff were courteous and friendly. We stayed in a yurt, which was clean and better than expected. My two pet peeves are the beehive feeling of the campground and the need to drive everywhere. You could rent a bike, but at $40 per day per bike, forget it.

Using Sandbanks, our favourite provincial park, as a comparison Pinery is a great park but for me not as good as Sandbanks. The beach is super long but not very wide (from water to the dune). While beach is great my complaint is that it was not easy to get to from my site in Riverside by bike. You have... More
