Every room has a view of the ocean and is less than 100m from the water. The outside of this seasonal motel looks somewhat dated, but inside is modern and clean. Its locked about 3km from Peggy's Cove and is somewhat isolated in the evening...More
Clean, newly remodeled. Excellent views and room; meticulously renovated. Wish our 2 night stay could be extended! Breakfast restaurants not too far down the road; in-room coffee provided. Gas, Grocery and liquor stores not often found, so stop when you see one rather than wait...More
We had a balcony in Room 5, but it went unused as the weather did not cooperate. But we had a wonderful view from the sliding doors in our room. This room had a shower only which was great for us. Beds are comfortable. My...More

We went in September, and do not remember a BBQ. If there was one, it would have been very small. We didn't spend a lot of time at the motel, as Peggys Cove was our main destination. They had two adirondack chairs set on the beach at the motel. The beach is fairly narrow, but the view is very nice.
They do have a general store on the main road not far from the motel which may have supplies. One word of advice, depending on when you go, the mosquitoes are horrific. Even with jackets and long pants, these guys were all around us. We didn't have this same problem with insects at the light house.
Have a great trip!
