We stayed here in June 2019 as a mid-way stop on our way from New Brunswick to Quebec. Charming place. Located on a private road up a hill. Used to be someone's house before converted to an Inn. Run by a lovely lady, who was very accommodating. Has an indoor poor with a water slide, and a steam room and sauna. There was a hot tub, but it was out of service while we were there, along with the restaurant. Nice patio to relax outdoors. Reasonable price for standard room. Continental breakfast available (bagels, toast, cereal, orange juice, fruit, etc.). Would recommend, and would stay again if ever in that area.

The air conditioning downstairs was turned off perhaps because the Inn is for sale. The air was very stuffy and heat rises. The small air conditioner in the room is unable to do the job. The upstairs was stifling. I was unable to sleep as I was trying to get a breath of fresh air and at times I opened the window but even that didn’t help. There was no air circulation. We rented two rooms and one did have two windows which helped that room a little. Washroom paper products are horrible. The restaurant Is permanently closed. It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the grounds.

Spent a couple of nights at the inn. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was no noise coming from outside, even with the windows open. Everything was super clean. Interesting place to stay.

When you are greated by Rochelle, you know you stay will be enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Be sure to ask Rochelle to show you around the Castle. The circular staircase must go around about 720 degrees.

We loved the Castle Inn! Checked in a few minutes late.(8:05 pm) The lady checking us in had us booked on the third floor. After explaining that I had a back problem and my wife had a broken leg, she booked us into the Victorian Suite for no extra charge and carried our suitcases up herself. My young son and I enjoyed the pool to ourselves both nights we were there and the hot tub was nice too. Breakfast was adequate. The room was much bigger than we needed but we enjoyed all that space. We'll be back.
