The room was so clean and had fridge microwave tv . The beds were very comfortable and rooms were updated and very modern. Had a nice lawn area and a gazebo with chairs and table . Has a beautiful view of the mountains and because it is off the main road it is very quiet and they even have a laundry room
Our room was decorated in motel beige, no design awards here. But it was clean & the shower is great. Skip the complimentary breakfast, go into town for something more healthy. The motel is located on the top of a hill overlooking g town & you get great views.
We've stayed at Retasket Lodge & RV Park 3 or 4 times over the last 3 or 4 years and have never been disappointed! Very good price, always very clean, nice thick crisp sheets, fluffy towels, easy check in and check out. There is an outdoor area with barbeques, chairs, tables and the most spectacular mountains up close and personal! There is a full kitchen available to use in the common area with everything needed to prepare a meal (pots, pans, dishes). The bed is always comfortable and we have a great night sleep. Truly a hidden gem!
We were very appreciative they had a room left on short notice, rate seemed fair for the room size and ammenities. Great little patio to sit out on, nice clean and comfortable room, friendly check in, lots of parking and easy to find. Room had a little fridge and a well stocked coffee maker. We would definitely stay here again, but beware the morning continental breakfast. If you want it, you apparently need to go good and early. Apparently several BC hydro workers stay here, we saw all their trucks in the lot that night. We went down for breakfast about 7:45. All the trucks were gone and so was the breakfast! Every coffee urn was completely empty, empty muffin tins, empty milk containers, jars of peanut butter and jam with dirty used knives stuck in them but only a few crusts of bread. Little dissapointed that it was not restocked or even tidied up, but the A&W has a great breakfast so off we went.…
Found this place by happenstance, we were frantically called RV places that were full, and lucked out. Ike said yes they had spots available! Full hook-ups, clean shaded site and spotless washrooms. A short walk into town. Recommend.
