I only stayed one night as I was catching a boat to Knoydart but would definitely have been happy to stay for longer. Fiona King was welcoming and cheerful, the guest house is spotless and modern and tastfully decorated and my veggie cooked breakfast was delicious.Fantastic value-get a room here if you can

Although we only spent one night here, we were greatly impressed with everything, from Fiona's warm welcome to our breakfast. Situated only a couple of minutes walk from the station and shops,- add an extra minute to the Ferry terminal, the Seaview is a perfect location to stay in Mallaig. The rooms are well appointed and although our twin was...

This really is a superb place to stay - a warm and friendly welcome from Fiona, and very pleasant and clean room, with furnishings of a high quality. Centrally located for ferry and train, and overlooking a working harbour with lots happening. Breakfast was very tasty, and staff all very helpful. We stopped here twice en route and back from...

This was a great place to stay in this great small working fishing town. Fiona has a lovely warm manner and has decorated her home really nicely - and the whole place is immaculate. Our bikes were stowed safely in the back yard, with our washing blowing dry on their washing line! Absolutely delicious breakfast! Have tea and cakes in...

I booked the single room (without private bathroom) for 3 nights having travelled from East Yorkshire by train to Mallaig. Although I was disappointed to have to share a bathroom with one other room I was bowled over at how immaculate it was! A corner bath and a shower cubicle and so perfect it could have been installed last week....

We were warmly welcomed by Fiona. Our rooms were elegantly and thoughtfully furnished. The cooked breakfast was of an excellent standard. Seaview is ideally placed for both train and ferry. We could ask for nothing better.

Wasn't looking forward to Mallaig being the first stop on our Highland fling but Fiona set a very high standard. She is such a lovely person and runs a great guest house. The rooms are very modern and bright with all home comforts. The restaurant she recommended served the biggest fish supper we had seen for a long time. Wish...

Fiona is lovely - warm, kind, and makes you feel right at home. She recommended a restaurant to us which was practically next-door and it was delicious. Our room was clean and had some nice personal touches to it. The location is excellent if you're coming from the train station or going to catch a ferry over to Skye or...
