Nice, quiet location on the outskirts of Mallaig. Warm welcome by Nick and Lindsay. Lovely room, bright and airy. Immaculately clean with nice bedlinen. Stunning views over the bay to the Isle of Rum. Excellent breakfast, the scrambled egg was cooked to perfection, delicious. Great value accommodation with lovely hosts. Thank you.

A second very enjoyable stay for us at the peacefully situated Heatherlea, just on the outskirts of Mallaig. The breakfast is superb and the views to the small isles are unbeatable. Nick and Leslie are great hosts and they, and Angus, offer a very warm welcome to their home.

Nick and Lindsay were hosts extraordinaire, collecting us from the train and delivering us to the ferry etc. They have a lovely b and b; the room is spotless and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and ranged from locally smoked kippers to the traditional "Scottish" breakfast. The house is an easy 15 minutes walk from town which... More

Lindsey and Nick made me feel incredibly welcome from the second I stepped through the door to when Nick dropped me off. The room was extremely nice and well laid out. The views were fantastic. The breakfast was a particular highlight. I really like a cooked breakfast and I have to say it was one the best. There are a... More

Stayed in the bluebell room with my girlfriend on the 5th of September. King size bed, beautiful bathroom, stunning views and cracking breakfast. Nick picked us up from the station in the afternoon, dropped us off the following day and gave us tips for what to see and do around Mallaig. A better host you could not ask for. The... More
