We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here & chose from a lovely menu. Two of us had soda water & lime to quench our thirst & my husband has 2 pints of Guinness which was heavenly. Next time we're in Alford we will have our lunch there. Very enjoyable & the staff were nice too.

Just home from a truly wonderful Staff Party at Haughton Arms Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went that extra mile to ensure we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We got to meet the Chef who did such a fabulous job, as our meals were absolutely amazing and plenty of it too. The restaurant has been refurbished and looks light and airy. I would definitely recommend Haughton Arms Hotel. We’ll certainly be back. Excellent food, staff, service and surroundings.

A lovely, newly refurbished hotel. Friendly staff, cosy & comfortable rooms. Evening meals delicious & good value for money. Wether in the bar by the log fire or formally in restraunt - the food is delicious. Breakfast is first class.

The good bit was the food was quite tasty. But one of us got the wrong food, another had an incomplete meal. The starters were meagre and far too expensive and there was no choice for vegetarian - take it or leave it one item on the menu (how very 1970s.) Fish was fish n chips or scampi which doesn't count as fish for most fish eaters. Don't ask advice on wine - waitress hadn't a clue. After we finished our starters we were asked if we wanted the sweet menu. We didn't as we hadn't had our mains. It was all a bit Faulty Towers without the entertainment. Of the same era. Won't be back.
