My husband and I booked this hotel/B & B for 2 nights to attend our Sons wedding. It was very central for the church and not to far from the reception. On arrival we were met by a young lad who gave us the key, asked for payment and then shown to our room. The room was a decent size...

This isn't the sort of hotel that's designed to generate enthusiastic reviews, but it's certainly not a bad hotel. I booked it because it was cheaper than other options nearby and I just needed somewhere in the area to sleep for the night. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size, comfortable bed, decent shower. Breakfast was...

An unmanned reception is a little unusual, but was quite efficient. We had a oom at the back of the hotel which I think is prt of a newer extension to the original property. It was smallish, but not cramped, and in need of a lick of paint. The wardrobe had seen better days, but was functional enough. A complimentary...

We came to stay in the hotel on 22nd October we had asked for a room in the ground floor as our guest was disabled and very unable to walk up and down stairs after recent operation. We had 2 rooms. Now the dissabled room we had requested was on the highest floor !! And the room itself was freezing...

We needed a place for one night in the area and for value for money this place certainly fitted the bill. The staff were helpful, the breakfast more than adequate, our room small but comfortable. Interesting building with rooms seeming to go in every direction. Two things to be aware of are no lifts and very tight parking out the...

Having to have an overnight stay in opted for this place based a little on the photos, as well as the price and some of the more positive comments. Arrival was basically a table were after ringing the bell I was given my room key as well as my bill. The room was a good size, tidy clean and could...

Godalming isn't the centre of everyone's universe. There are doubtless legions of Genesis fans who continue to make their pilgrimage to Charterhouse School to see the somewhat privileged surroundings within which quintessentially English rock was conceived. Hopefully there is a good flock of folk who traipse religiously to Bel and The Dragon, the converted church that does a damned fine...

We had booked this hotel as we had a family funeral in the area, first night no problem, second night well! a large returning wedding party kept us up most of the night, shouting and swearing they were also noisy at breakfast time. The manager was of no help next morning and was not even apologetic.

A friend booked this for us as we had a dog to take to fitzpatricks vet hospital. They were fantastic I had to ring for directions. The owner was fantastic to speak to. The staff offered help if needed with my dog as she couldn't walk. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff.
