Traditional pub, staff ok but not very welcoming, had to ask for a menu and some choices not available but not told this at the time. Above average prices for bar meals but was worth the cost. Both meals good size and tasty. Fresh veg.

Booked for a short walking break as the location is really close to the Yorkshire three peaks, ideal as all at hand, very quiet and peaceful, only ten minutes walk into Ingleton. Although the Marton Arms has only recently reopened the team there were very welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable, great breakfast on both mornings. The food... More

Not good at all, went for a meal but never actually stayed to order one, rude barmaid, most food had run out(6 o clock at night!!!), no lager on draught on a Saturday night, our party along with several other people actually left and went elsewhere, such a shame as we were told that until the new owners took over... We came down from Edinburgh after a 2 week tour of Scotland. Very helpful and polite staff. Booked a meal in the evening, the food and the ales was very good. Breakfast was the same. The room was perfect. This place would be a good choice next time we come up here.

Small little inn like hotel with pub w v quiet surroundings cos it wasnt right in village centre. Run by a middle aged couple. Late check in at 1030pm and no problems at all. Just go into pub and female hostess brought me to the connected accommodation block. No lift. Fair sized room. Slightly old but still comfy. V comfy... More

location is great for walks and ingelton centre. the food and the staff in pub where lovely and couldn't do enough for us. the rooms are in need of renovating smelt of damp.which lets the place down. toast at breakfast would be better delivered to table rather than on buffet table

Fantastic Sunday lunch, great service. Would definitely recommend. I had ham and my boyfriend had turkey. Fresh vegetables were delicious. Served cobra on draught which was a bonus and lots of hand pulled ales. Will definitely be going back.

I found the Marton Arms on Trip Advisor and booked two rooms for one night last weekend. The rooms were a very good standard for the price and the food was good 'Pub Grub'. We were advised to book for our evening meal as they were very busy that night, however the service was still efficient and very friendly .... More

We were visiting Ingleton Falls and found this wonderful place to stay. Originally just for one night but it was so comfy and the owners and staff so friendly we booked a further night and would recommend it now to friends and family. Although it's a very old pub the room was newly furnished and had everything we required. And... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. ... more   less
