Stayed here with my husband for one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast in a junior suite. The room itself was lovely and spacious but quite tired with tatty carpets, marked wood work and the bathroom needs updating. The bed was 2 singles pushed together which I know is quite common but the gap down the middle was really... More

A picture postcard setting, tentative staff and amazing food and treatments...a wonderful birthday present from my hubby. A word of caution for anyone planning to stay. The room we had was unbearably hot (17). The window painted shut and clearly a known problem as there was a fan in the room. By the time we realised it was late so... More

Thank you for your review, and I appreciate your feedback. I should point out however, that the sash window in room 17 does in fact open, but opens downwards from the top of the frame. All our rooms are provided with fans, as in the summer, when no heating is on, the old stone building does retain heat. Moving forward,... More

Stayed here last night for my birthday treat with hubby. We stayed in room 14 (a suite) which was beautiful. We really enjoyed the use of the spa especially the aromatherapy steam room. The outdoor pool was warm and lovely to swim in at 7pm. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The waitresses were so lovely.... More

This was mine and my partners first time vising the Feversham Arms Hotel, Spa and the Weathervane restaurant, and we cannot wait to go back. Overall the staff are lovely, attentive without being too invasive and professional but still remaining friendly. The spa area is very relaxing from the steam room/foot spa through to the lounge area, and the outdoor... More

We visited in March for the 3rd time and had another great experience. We were earlier than check in and as I'm pregnant were upgraded to a suite to ease my comfort. After we had settled in the room the lady from reception brought me up some bath goodies and oils to help with pregnancy aches and asked if I... More

Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Feversham Arms. We were pleased to have received an upgrade to a suite which had air-conditioning as it was a very hot time to stay. The suite itself was nice, however the bathroom was tired. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and relaxed environment. On the first evening we had... More

Upon our arrival I noticed the carpets were dirty, the walls scuffed and the whole interior looked tired. Our room was less than impressive; carpets and walls marked and a huge crack in ceiling. The room felt dirty and dusty, and quite frankly no where near the standard I would expect from a 4* establishment who thinks it can compete... More

Thank you for your review although you did voice your opinions and thoughts to us directly late evening after dinner. I acknowledge some of your points but in fairness, have to disagree with some unfounded comments. Where we failed in some aspects on this occasion, and did not measure up, I offer sincere apologies and accept fair and reasonable criticism.... More

Unfortunately I cannot say I would return here. Check-in was very nice, staff warm and welcoming. Room was a little snug but well furnished with a comfortable bed. An afternoon by the pool was very enjoyable with some nice drinks and a foray into the spa. Unfortunately our dinner experience was rather poor. Initially the head water couldn't find our... More

Thank you for your review. I apologise for the usual string of issues that are so not typical, and very unfortunate. Really enjoyed our stay at Feversham, good people, great place, fantastic weather. Loved the simplicity of it all, truly effortless. Had taken advantage of an offer on the room so was surprised that I still managed to spend over £700 on an overnight stay but I have to say it was value for money, the environment just makes you relax... We recently stayed in a suite on a dinner, bed and breakfast package and felt let down from start to end. The hotel makes a big point that you can use the pool facilities however refuses to let anyone check into their rooms until at least 3pm so they can prioritise the daily spa guests. This would be fine if... More

Thank you for your review. To clarify, we have a standard check in time that is a guideline of 3pm which is stated in the booking confirmation letter sent to our guests. This is not ambiguous. It allows for a reasonable access to the hotel facilities on the basis of a full occupancy of the hotel the previous night, allowing... More
