Upon our arrival I noticed the carpets were dirty, the walls scuffed and the whole interior looked tired. Our room was less than impressive; carpets and walls marked and a huge crack in ceiling. The room felt dirty and dusty, and quite frankly no where near the standard I would expect from a 4* establishment who thinks it can compete... More

Unfortunately I cannot say I would return here. Check-in was very nice, staff warm and welcoming. Room was a little snug but well furnished with a comfortable bed. An afternoon by the pool was very enjoyable with some nice drinks and a foray into the spa. Unfortunately our dinner experience was rather poor. Initially the head water couldn't find our... More

Really enjoyed our stay at Feversham, good people, great place, fantastic weather. Loved the simplicity of it all, truly effortless. Had taken advantage of an offer on the room so was surprised that I still managed to spend over £700 on an overnight stay but I have to say it was value for money, the environment just makes you relax... We recently stayed in a suite on a dinner, bed and breakfast package and felt let down from start to end. The hotel makes a big point that you can use the pool facilities however refuses to let anyone check into their rooms until at least 3pm so they can prioritise the daily spa guests. This would be fine if... More

This country hotel was suggested as a gift from the Mr and Mrs Smith range. Helmsley is a beautiful place established as a market town in the Middle Ages.it has a range of hostelries, that had to be investigated. The Feversham Arms was very comfortable, a free upgrade was given, although I do wonder how small the standard rooms are,... More

Cost £21.50 person, highly disappointed with what we thought would be a wonderful experience, the sandwiches mediocre, the cakes enjoyable, but a tea bag on a string (really) for the price we would have expected loose leaf not a stringed bag with the label hanging out of a stainless steel teapot, and a very stained cup. Visit the Black Swan... More

We recently stayed at the Feversham for our Wedding Anniversary, we booked one night for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast c/w Spa treatment. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted efficiently and the reception staff were great, we were shown to our room and I have to say as a seasoned traveller I was disappointed. The room was very tired,... More
