    Very friendly pub. Good food both at lunch and evening. A lovely Beer Garden. Car parking available. The pub is found in the Dorset countryside and I believe was the inn in one of Thomas Hardys books.

    We dropped in on a Sunday late afternoon and was offered a table at the pub. The food was sumptuous - outstanding leg of lamb and trio of pork - and the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff most gracious. A very memorable meal.More
