Ideally situated for beach, swimming, lido, walking, beach front walks and runs, clifftop walks and runs. The owners run a clean and very professional B&B and their attentive nature is honest and heartfelt. Rooms are very tidy and clean and the breakfast room is spacious. Breakfast itself has more options than we have ever seen which meant we managed a...

This hotel is in a good location on the seafront in Teignmouth. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and heaps of fruit to have with cereal. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The room and bathroom we had were super clean and very well appointed but rather small. I am sure if you were staying longer than the one...

I had made a reservation at this hotel and when I turned up at 5:15pm there was no one there to check me in to my room. The front door was locked, I rang the bell, telephoned the hotel and got an answerphone message and waited 45 minutes before a guest opened the front door for me. In the end...

I was in Teignmouth for a family occasion and my party and I arrived very late on Friday night. We were warmly welcomed and our bedrooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and a fresh cafetière of coffee was a great start to each morning. Wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Booked because of Trip Advisor's preponderance of 5-star reviews for it. Exceeded expectations, so here's another one. Staff friendly, attentive and directed us to the best curry house we've been to in years. Will be back

Lovely hotel! We had room 6 which has a sea view very comfortable and everything you need! Based on a seafront location only problem was parking we managed to find a street to park it was uphill. Breakfast very nice and plenty of choices. Weather was gorgeous and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Thornhil Hotel is in an excellent location opposite the seawall. We stayed in the miniscule twin bedroom Number 11. In what felt like the back of the hotel with no view and smell of the kitchen/cooking. The room and bathroom was clean however. The rest of the hotel and our stay was rather disappointing. The hotel is overall tired and...
