The only problem we had was being in room 11 we was above a smoking area as it was very warm we had the windows open and the smoke entered the room along with some bad language but I must say every other aspect of the pub was 1st class and quality if I had a different room I would... More

The Harbour in has a great location overlooking the pretty harbour of Porthleven. Lots of outside tables, nice decor. A good selection of local beers the pale ale was especially good. A pint and one of their excellent pasties whilst sitting outside watching the world go by is an excellent way to spend some time. Staff are friendly and very... More

Excellent stay. The hotel manager should get a rise nothing was too much trouble. Bed was a bit small but cosy. The band played outside the hotel in the evening which was very entertaining. Breakfast was very good

The harbour inn fantastic location right on the harbour front great accommodation although our room didn't have the best view or in fact privacy of other rooms. We stayed here 2 nights in June and have no complaints apart from watch the seagulls as they are not very courteous but that is no fault of the Hotel certainly would stay... More

As a local ( I live in a village about 5 miles inland but have many friends in Porthleven) I have visited this pub many times over the last 32 years and had friends stay there. The food is always good and a little bit less basic and more interesting than many pub food. With refreshing twists on even basic... More

Ok, so it was a lovely, sunny day. The flowers adorning the outside of this great pub were an immediate welcoming eye draw. And the outside seating area right by the wateredge was ideal for such a bright day. But the food quality is the most important thing of all. I found the menu really good, with daily 'Specials' board.... More

There are lots of places to eat in Porthleven. We decided on the Harbour Hotel for lunch. The menu was extensive light bites as well as main meals. We both had the Steak Pie and chunky chips which was delicious. The meals were not expensive. A lovely comfortable and friendly hotel on the Harbour Front. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Harbour Inn and probably our 12th visit to dine. It was a last minute booking and we had a room at the back which was perfectly fine it was just a place to sleep and shower. The room was clean and plenty of room to hang your clothes etc. The room was very... More

Thank you for your recent review of the Harbour Inn unfortunately we do have rooms at the back of the hotel that have no view etc, maybe next time if you book direct through us and request a harbour view room this will be better for you. I have spoken to the kitchen team I am not sure why the... More

Average tourist pub. Noisy, advertising screens everywhere, over air-conditioned, screaming children ... Ordered a Cornish pasty - the worst I've had. It was hot but small, over cooked, dry and mostly potato. Don't bother, find a bakers somewhere where they are cheaper.
