Yours Home in Cappadocia Mustafapasa We are pleased to welcome you at our hotel since 1968, Our hotel is nicely carved-out in the soft rock of Cappadocia. Monastery Cave Hotel in Cappadocia-Turkey is the name of an exquisitely restored 13 room troglodyte cave house opened in 1968, in mustafapasa/sinasos.Village near Urgup in the heart of Cappadocia, Turkey Part of the hotel was used by Christian monks until recently. Volcanic rock called "tufa" is perfect insulation material which keeps the temperature between 17 - 20 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The title basically says it all. This place after your first visit will feel like a home. I have been coming regularly for 5 years now. Haven’t been able to rest anywhere else like i can rest here. If you are tired of the formality of the hotels and would like to stay where you will be like family. This is your place. There is always an activity you can be a prt of. Live music multiple nights a week.

This is a family owned hotel and an amazing place to stay and rest. Hospitality is above expectations. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. I would suggest anyone to come stay here for the overall experience of a small town and Cappodocia region. Nice coffee shop and sometimes live music at nights. Wooow

The rooms were great! Big and originally excavated in the rock. Breakfast and dinner were generous and tasty. But the best thing is how the family treated us: they showed us their vegetable garden, they played instruments after dinner, they recommended us places to visit and, basically, made us feel as if we were at home. Plus the owner speaks Spanish!! I really recommend monastery cave for those who want a real Turkish experience!

The staff here is very friendly and welcomes you like you would be the most important tourist in the world. The owner is super great and very helping with anything you would need. They are all like a family and they make you feel very good. The hotel is located in the most animated area of the village. The town is 20 min away with the car; there are nice mountains very close and you can make a walk and take some nice pictures. You can also rent a bike from the hotel and make a tour in the surroundings - if you have no problem with riding on very short hills. There is also a place near the hotel where you can go and watch the sunset over the valley. The food is delicious. They have a large variety of options for groups - traditional cuisine, but they can also offer you fast food if you don't like Turkish traditional food - which is awesome, at least there. I didn't like the rooms - there is basically a real cave decorated with makeshift rooms. It is far to be named a hotel, not even a hostel. There needs to be a lot of improvement done. Also, the rooms are not ce=lean at all. The bathroom is actually inside the room but with a curtain built for intimacy - the smell and the evacuation is inside your room. Also, me and my boyfriend have been staying there at the end of April and it was very cold. The radiators were not working so we asked for an electric heater to be able to take our clothes off for a shower. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for accommodation, but don't miss it if you want to have a nice traditional meal.
