We travel to Zeeland all the time. The wife booked this hotel for us. We stayed only one night because everything was booked. With us only being an hours drive from Zeeland it was no big deal staying only one night. There is free parking on the hotel grounds. The room we stayed in faced the beach area. Room had a kitchen in it if you want to make a meal. Bathroom was very big. A great shower area in it. Internet access was very good and Free. The breakfast was very good. lots to pick from. The eating area is very large and windows all around to look out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to stay longer they said to book well in advance and at least 3 nights. We will come back to the hotel again and hopefully get a weekend stay.

We stumbled upon this hotel last minute and fortunately for us they had a room available due to a cancelation. It is modern, recently renovated, very close to the beach and conveniently walkable to downtown. The reception is open and airy, with a lot of windows and light. The free parking is steps away from the hotel. The hotel was reconstructed from top to bottom and opened in 2017. Our room was very large, had nice tile floors (I personally don't care for carpet in hotel rooms). The bath was spacious, with a waterfall shower. The internet was fast. The room had high ceilings, lots of light and also included a refrigerator, heating element and cooking utensils. Our morning breakfast (included) was varied and abundant. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful and shared great information regarding the area. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in on our trip and the least expensive! Our only regret was only being able to spend one night there, as they were booked for the following evening.

Booked 3 nights here. Left after 30 minutes. Room reeked of mold and carpets were filthy. Hovel comes to mind. Room opened into parking lot (which is also their "terrace"). Offered to pay for an upgrade, but no other rooms available. Had to book elsewhere. Desk clerks highly professional at the time. As town was full, I wound up booking at a hostel down the beach (look for the one in a castle). It was worlds beyond in terms of cleanliness and I haven't stayed in hostels for decades. Requested refund from hotel and had a long email exchange with owner who argued there was nothing wrong with room. After a long exchange, was billed for one night as they acknowledged they managed to re-rent the room (supposedly) and eventually had to contest credit card charges. NOTE: Hotel is set for demolition in a month or two. I'm afraid that perhaps this is why it is not being kept up. Would stay anywhere else in Domburg, but as owner owns numerous properties, would try to avoid any associated.

We have just spent a wonderful holiday in Hotel Bosch en Zee. We are convinced that this is the best hotel in Domburg with the best location and we had for sure the best view in town over the North Sea and the dunes from our large balcony. We really enjoyed the sunrise and sunset every morning/night and the room was very nice with nice furniture. The hotel is placed only 1 minute walk from the fantastic beach - just behind the dunes and 2 minutes walk from the main street. The Hollestelle family, who owns the hotel, is very kind and obliging and we felt very welcome. Every morning we enjoyed a perfect breakfast in the restaurant, which was beautifully furnished with a view over the dunes - and for the cold times - with a fireplace. It is also possible to enjoy your breakfast outside on the cosy terrace. The nature around the hotel is really fantastic and we saw deers just next to the hotel. The beach is so clean and it is possible to rent a beach cabin, where you will find everything you need (sunchairs, table, bench and a fence) Domburg is a small cosy town with many good reataurant, so it is very easy to find a place to eat your lunch or dinner. If you are looking for a place with a lot of nightlife, Domburg is not the place for you. The town is a nice and quiet place, where you can enjoy the sound of the sea and just relax and get back to zero. Middelburg is the maintown in Zeeland and a fantastic town with many old houses and a couple of beautiful churches. Canals is running through town and we enjoyed a canal tour, which gave us the possibility the get to know more about Middelburg. Besides the above, Zeeland is a wonderful island and we can only recommend to go there and see for yourself. Finally, all the best recommendations to the the Hollestelle family and Hotel Bosch en Zee.
