Our overall experience not great, but good. Will I visit this hotel for a vacation again or recommend it? Probably, not. The hotel has a great location. It has a direct access to the beach, unlike many other hotels in Santa Susanna, where people need to walk at least 10-20 min to get to the beach and back to their hotel, which, let's be honest, is not a high level of comfort. If you don't mind, then you are all set. The hotel is 3 min away from the walking area, full of restaurants, shops, pharmacies etc., which makes it quite easy to access what you need at any time of the day. it is also close to public transportation. There are nice fountains in about 20 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean, food is good, but not great. The sweets and fruit were great. Entertainment was carried out on daily basis, first for kids and then for everybody else. Pools were nice and clean, towels are provided in exchange of deposit. Kids zone was also nice, with many options for children of different ages and tastes, but a child can stay there only with a parent. Hotel staff was very hardworking and as helpful and as polite as possible considering the flow of the people staying at the hotel. Despite the fact that it is a beach front hotel, the beach is not private. And this had nothing to do with hotel decisions or services. But if you are looking for an experience of a private beach where only hotel guests can be, then choose another country, as there are not private beaches in Spain, like it or not. What could be a little reconsidered and adjusted: - Even having a full board, you still need to buy soft drinks, which is really weird. Moreover, no coffee/tea is served at the restaurant during lunch and dinner, you can buy it at the var, which is on the opposite side. It is not the end of the world, but it is definitely far from being called full board. - Room service was very slow, sometimes towels were not delivered, we had to call the reception to ask, which is not appropriate for a 4-start hotel. - Reception was full 24/7, which made it impossible to approach for minor questions, not talking about checking in and out. Maybe the hotel could reconsider and add staff at the reception desk. - Hotel staff mostly speaks very basic or no English. - Animation team was doing a good job, but definitely, they could do better, and considering the big flow of people in this season, more people need to be involved in animation. - Maybe adding few slides to one of the pools would be a good asset for kids entertainment, given that there are really few minor things for kids, and they are mostly under the sun, so kids can't touch them during the day. - I read lots of comments about the noise late night. If you want to avoid it, book a room, which does not look at the sea or pool. - No bottled water, tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, which would be maybe fine for a 3-star hotel. Toiletries were of a very low quality. Last but not least, not very related to the hotel, but rather to the type of the beach. It is not ideal for kids, as the sea goes deep immediately. Sand is not very small, not like in Greece or Golden Sands. …
