After visiting Relais Fattoria Valle a few years ago with my mum and sister, I returned with my fiancee, and by coincidence, stayed in the same room as my first visit. Everything about the property and views was exactly as I remembered it — serene, tranquil, and truly a Tuscan getaway. Our room, with its picturesque views, was comfortable and perfect for two. I love its charm and decor, all of which makes the property super cozy and welcoming. Though Panzano is a ~ five-minute walk, I recommend driving as the road is quite windy and also steep. With a variety of restaurants to choose from in town, the restaurant at Relais is also a wonderfully delicious option. Also opt for a cooking class — you'll want to take up making your own homemade pasta by the end of your stay. Hoping to return again soon for a longer stay. Until then, I hope others will enjoy this beautiful villa.…
I just stayed here a third time and I loved it as much as before. You can't beat the venue, the views, the amazing rooms and period decor. Breakfast is a nice selection of homemade sweets, meat and cheese, eggs and fresh croissants. Cappuccino and espresso are made to order. There's a new chef at their on-site restaurant and our dinner was fabulous. The weather was perfect for sitting on the outside terrace (both breakfast and dinner). The deluxe and superior rooms are spacious and lovely, and it's a short walk up the road to charming Panzano (criss cross the road to stay where the shoulder is widest and visibility is best.) Lara and Elisa were so helpful in making recommendations and reservations - great customer care.
This was my second time visiting Relais Fattoria Valle within a couple of years only this time with family as opposed to a large group of friends last time. It was exactly as hoped and this place didn't disappoint in any way shape or form. Much like my first review, everything was similar to the same. It is such a good place to stay and have some peace and quiet although giving you easy access to both Panzano centre and Greve in Chianti centre. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an authentic place to stay for one day or 5 days as we did. Very, very good property and wonderful people working at the place make it such an enjoyable stay and overall experience.
We stayed at this beautiful hotel 2 years ago and very much looked forward to a return visit, we were not disappointed. The hotel is stunning, an old farmhouse that has retained all its charm. Beautiful views from rooms over the stunning countryside and the added bonus of a delightful pool, perfect after a days sightseeing. You feel relaxed as soon as you enter the building. If you want modern contemporary furnishings then this is not for you, if you want to feel immersed in Italy then this is the perfect place. We asked for a specific room this time and they were so accommodating in ensuring that we got exactly what we asked for. Italy were experiencing exceptional heat whilst we were there and as there is no air conditioning it was at times uncomfortable during the night, no fault of the hotel at all. We closed the shutters and utilised the fan and managed to make it as comfortable as we could. Breakfast is served on the lovely shady terrace and although continental has an excellent selection to suit all tastes. Our intention was to only eat in the restaurant on one night as there are so many good places to eat in Panzano, the food was so good that we ended up having 3 evening meals and 1 lunch. There is a lovely small terrace, however it was just too hot so we, along with other diners, sat on the large terrace secluded by trees. Our food was excellent. Over the course of our stay for starters we ate: bruschetta with super tasty tomatoes (the bread however was a little too crusty); fantastic antipasti (large enough for 2); caprase, served with the largest piece of mozzarella and parmagieno, which for me was the best starter of all of our 12 nights in Italy. Our main courses were: pork fillet with carmalised apples and onions, it was amazing; pasta with a rich regu sauce, just excellent; pasta with truffles, a change to what was on the menu and absolutely delicious and salmon coated in brioche and citrus crumb, so good we had it twice and for me the best main course of our holiday. Washed down by fantastic local wines, all excellent. Highly recommend a visit whether a resident or not. The service was fantastic throughout our stay, there are only a few staff who all do an excellent job and nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful stay and we will return. …
First Impressions Set in the countryside with fantastic views and a 5 min walk to the village, and yet it was so nice and secluded. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating and they really looked after us. The Rooms & Facilities. The hotel is very traditional like a rustic Italian country home. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and there are great views over the surrounding countryside. The pool area has ample beds and it is clean and looks out over the rolling hills. Service. Throughout our stay the service was fantastic from the staff. Lara, Elisa and Alessio are just amazing. They are warm, personal and very service-minded. Nothing is a problem for them. Overall I had a great time here and it was a great shame I only stayed for one night. We were touring the region and my schedule was tight, however, when I visit again I would definitely return to this fantastic place. Service- 10/10 Room - 7/10 Facilities - 8/10 Value for Money - 9/10. Would I return - Yes…
