Portage Heights was very comfortable. Our room had a lovely view towards Valentia Island, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Monica and her family were really friendly and it's very close to Portage and a perfect place to explore the area. It's great for Bray head too as it's just across the bride and take a left turn. We would really recommend here and will definitely be back. Couple from Dublin, early September 2020

Monica & her family made us feel safe & welcome from our arrival. Adhering to COVID guidelines from the start, we felt as safe as we were at home. Rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location to the town is ideal.breakfast the next day was delightful and varied. We even had a family emergency during our stay that Monica was able to assist us with. Looking forward to our next stay. Thanks Monica

Would highly recommend Portmagee Heights to anyone staying in Portmagee. Monica was such a gracious host and so attentive. After a bit of confusion on the booking when we arrived Monica solved the issue in expert time and made us feel extremely welcome! Fab room & en-suite! Brekkie alone was worth the stay! 10/10 The view from brekkie was an added bonus even on a misty morning. Stunning location & very close to the village for early morning tours. We will be returning next summer to do another Skellig Island tour and Portmagee Heights will be the only place for us!
