Being a group of friends, we had a simply amazing time here. The room was as spacious as we wanted it plus it was refreshingly cool as it appears cave like, as if built into the rock! The villas are minimal in design, keeping the Santorinian tradition alive, and that it all you need as really, as the magic happens...

Nice location about 5 min away by car or 20 min walking away from the busy centre of Santorini. Minimalistic in style, the interiors are all in the famous white and blue colours of the Cyclades, with a simple style with touches of elegance here and there. Inside you instantly relax, and outside you are instantly in awe of the...

If you haven’t checked the Imerovigli area, you should when you next visit Santorini island as it offers beautiful panoramic views of both the famous Caldera and the black volcano. Driving into the centre of town is a very short journey, like 6 minutes maybe, and from there you can reach the beaches easily. The views from our balcony were...

Within a short distance you are in the centre of Fira for dinner or drinks before walking back. For the ladies I would suggest flat shoes for sure and this way you get to see the caldera from so many points of view. The room had a lovely bedroom loft space which we loved and it made the area appear...

Located in a great spot, the Alexander Villas that we stayed in for a long weekend were a good choice for staying outside the centre. The views are simply magical and in combination with a delicious breakfast, in the typical Cycladic architecture, it offers a truly genuine experience. Minimal rooms and spectacular views of the volcano and the caldera, book...

Alexander Villas is tucked away in the area of Imerovigli, and it is very much like a retreat with almost cave like rooms that will make you feel like you are the only people in the world. The staff were very helpful to explain any questions we had and it was great to know that they served us a really...

With more emphasis on great service and the simply excellent views, we enjoyed our time here more than staying in Oia last time that gets very crowded and noisy. From our veranda we still got to see the colourful sunset in the sky and we enjoyed the quiet location that offered us peace and quiet in a refreshingly quaint and...

As a couple we had visited Santorini some years ago, but we wanted to try a place that was not in the crowded Oia or Fira. So we chose Alexander Villas in Imerovigli that boasted amazing caldera views in a traditional cycladic setting. We booked the Caldera Mare Suite and I have to say we could not get enough of...

The views were amazing. We lay in our bed and just could not believe the view from our window. The photos we took do not do it justice whereas the terrace and the jacuzzi was where we spent most of our evenings, after an early dinner into town. We recommend walking the traditional stone path into the centre of Santorini,...

In the tranquil area of Imerovigli, Alexander Villas is peaceful hotel and we enjoyed every moment there. A good feature that is unusual to Santorini is that it has very few steps and it is not steep or difficult to get around. The loft bedroom was a nice surprise in our room, which was quiet. We didn’t have a private...

“I stayed in room no 3 and this is a standard room for 2 persons; they do have a bedroom (large bed) upstairs and a very comfortable sofa , downstairs. There is a fridge , a TV, air conditioned and wifi , all 100% functional. There are other superior rooms, more elegant and stylish. They have swimming pools, a large terrace and a snack bar. All in open air and looking from up above towards the active volcano and the entire 5 islands spread on the sea.”

“Villa #5 has the plunge pool in front. However, the room has the bed on a mezzanine level, which can get hot so ask them to open the top window for you in the evening for a cool breeze.”
