Our stay at Dreaming View Suites was everything I hoped it would be and more. I enjoyed wine on the balcony and nightly jacuzzi soaks. The suite was very comfortable and clean. Vasilis was a great host and brought breakfast every morning and made great suggestions on how to enjoy the island.

The view is absolutely amazing and staff super friendly and helpful. Also, the room was very clean. However, the room needs renovation. Jacuzzi's massage function wasn't functioning (and was still not when we left after 3 nights). Aircon wasn't functioning but was fixed the next day. Kitchenette looks rather uninviting as there is rust everywhere and besides a few glasses and a bottle opener no real kitchen devices. Wondering the purposes of this kitchenette. There is a kettle but no cups for tea/coffee. Rust is also visible on any metal in the toilet/bathroom/shower. Breakfast consisted mainly out of packaged convenience food (no fresh fruits, not even a coffee!), for the price we paid I would expected a bit more. It's a pity, the location and the room otherwise would be really great

Hotel emailed me prior to departure to see if I required anything including airport transfer, nice touch. I recommend the transfer as the hotel is not well signed. There are 4 suites at the hotel, we had the red jet tub suite which has an amazing view over the caldera. We sat in our private jacuzzi drinking champagne and watched the awesome red sunsets. Why go to Oia which is pretty but extremely busy when the view is just as good from your room.
Large, fresh breakfasts were brought to our terrace each morning. We could not eat it all and saved items in the fridge for later.
Our room was clean with a large, comfortable bed. The shower area is quirky and gives the impression of a pink cave, again very clean with a powerful modern rainforest shower.
Staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. On my birthday I returned from a day out to find a cake with strawberries and a bottle of dessert wine in the fridge.
Hotel location is good being on the slope of the caldera overlooking the sea, the volcano and Oia TownThe capital Fira is a 30 minute downhill walk. We generally took longer for the frequent beautiful views. Many good restaurants and bars along this cliff walk.
We highly recommend this hotel but there are many steps all around this side of the island so not suitable for the infirm or push chairs.
The Prehistoric Museum in Fira is well worth a visit if you are at all interested in history.

Room Tip: There are only 4 suites in the hotel and I would recommend either the Red or Blue Jet Tub Suites.

Bad experience, the rooms do not correspond to the photos shown on the various sites.
Arrogance in managing customer relationships.
The breakfast is made with poor and industrial material, the room is very small. We stayed there for 4 nights, were suprised by the poor quality of breakfast and decieded to have breakfast outside the hotel. However even if we paid for the breakfast that we didnt have, the hotel has done any commercial gesture to say sorry for the poor breakfast. I will never go back to this terribly managed hotel.

Where to start with this review. Told that for the first night we would be put into one of their basic rooms before moving to the suite. Could not stay here and had to pay for an alternative hotel because it was so dark and unclean. Still had to pay for this even though we did not stay. Once we were moved into our ‘suite’ it was not much better. Bathroom was full of damp, the bed was so squeaky it would wake you up in the night and felt like it could break. Door handles all very rusty. Paint come off at the bottom of the hot tub which made it look so dirty so we didn’t use it at all during our stay. Bathroom had a horrible smell coming out of the drains, taps rusted and toilet seat was broken and stuck in the upward direction could not properly sit on it. Most definitely much better places to stay, considering it was still expensive to stay here. It’s missing all of the nice finishing touches that make hotels a nice experience. The kettle and other facilities in the room were also old and dirty and unappealing. Overall needs a full refurb and I would not recommend anybody to stay here. The views were nice but not worth it to have to stay somewhere so filthy.

I paid 250 euros for one night and was very disappointed. The shower smells, no mattress cover, poor quality mattress, duvets without covers (shockingly - imagine the germs you're coming into contact with), no pillow case covers, sheets that barely cover the mattress. A very poor effort for the price, I travel for business each month and haven't seen this lack of effort by a hotel for a very long time.

Beware of staying here. I read reviews, looked at pictures, and justified spending hundreds of euros per night for a suite with a caldera view. Room was a dud and looked nothing like the photos. Very disappointing.

Once we got to the hotel nobody helped us with the luggage and had to walk down breaking our backs. That was a first glimpse of what was waiting for us. When we got to the room it was nothing like the pictures we saw on booking. We were supposed to have an executive suite (for over 330 euros per night) with a terrace with sunbeds and a table area for breakfast: what we got was a terrace so small that the sunbeds were literally stacked one on top of the other and there was barely space for two people to sit on regular chairs. By the way, the terrace was also right in the middle of the street so anyone could see you or actually just walk in your hot tub. The room is nothing close to the pictures as well: it is old, small to the point that there isn't even space to open two regular size suitcases at the same time. If I pay for something, in this case a room as the one described by the pictures posted online, that is what I'm supposed to get. If you take a look at the pictures uploaded online there is no mention of the fact that one of the executive rooms is different than the others, they focus on showing you these beautiful and spacious terraces in the clear attempt of hiding the fact that one of their executive rooms is absolutely not at the same standards of the others. Once we complained about the situation they should've apologized and given us our money back or give us the room we had paid for! Obviously they didn't do any of the two. Worst experience ever with a hotel! And the best part was that they insisted on saying that nobody had ever complained, but now I see that this situation had occurred already just a week before our arrival!

I m finding it a challenge to write about this place.. Its picture perfect, with Stunning views, fabulous room, amazing breakfast and the 2 Angels- Dimitra and Chris!! They spoil you.. Its unbelievable how the hotel staff can make you so comfortable, be so caring and wonderful and provide the right guidance to make your trip seem like a lovely dream. The hotel is in a quieter part of Santorini called Imerovigli, but let me tell you, its much better to stay here and absorb the view of the caldera and walk down to Fira, the main village (25-30 mins) or take a bus. Taxis are not too expensive. The walk from the hotel to Fira is a good idea and while coming back the bus is very convenient (Euro 1.60 per person). There are two great restaurants close by- Avacado, great food and friendly service and then there is Anoghi, probably one of the best Greek restaurants on yhe island. We are definitely going back and staying and the dreaming view suites!!!

We were staying at the blue suite.. The first night we checked in at 8pm the bed wasn't made (which we later realised wasn't made any of the evenings).. There is a jacuzzi in every room but don't get fooled by that.. The water is luke warm at best.. We couldn't use it any of the days we were staying there cuz of the temperature of the water.. The third day we walk In to our room at 1130 pm and there is no water.. Which we had reminded them about before leaving.. They can't even do small things right.. We paid a lot for this suite hope we checked out other options..not worth it at all.. Don't bother!!
