Don’t be fooled by the exterior photos of this property . The rooms are very run done, poorly furnished . The kitchen has no sink, no way of hearing anything , there is not much in the way of equipment and the cupboards stuck together by paint. Towels are like cardboard . There was a random exercise bike in the corner of the room too. You’ll need the lights on during daylight hours to see anything and the light switches are all by the front door. Chairs on the patio were broken.

Your review is unreal, shame on you. Why don't you mention that you wished to leave the property and get a refund? Why don't you mention that you blackmailed us about the review in order to get your refund?? Where did you see that we have kitchen?? For which sink are you talking about if there is no kitchen? Chairs are not broken. You broke the one of them. Probably you booked without knowing what the room type has as you were looking for view even if you had a room on the ground floor. This is unacceptable and as we have informed you, unless you remove your review, we will take legal action against you as you slander us with no reason. Hope nobody will have a guest like you. You are unacceptable. By the way, all your reviews are with the worst marks. You haven't been to any area that you enjoyed?? Or you just choose to write negative reviews to blackmail others too!?? We call you to remove the review immediately to avoid penalties.

After reading some mixed reviews we decided to take a chance on this place and I’m so glad we did! We love Imerovigli but the prices on the caldera this year had doubled from our last trip so this was a great alternative, a few minutes walk and you’re on the caldera. We were in room 3 which was a good size and had a garden terrace overlooking the sea. Cleaning, pool towels etc available on request. Lena on reception was super friendly and really goes out of her way to take care of you - and the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. The pool area is superb, a really peaceful oasis away from the bustle of the caldera! I would have no hesitation in staying again!

We have just had a week here in room 9. Great location with privacy. Our room had a sea view which was a bonus. Comfy bed and good size rooms. The room was rustic but very greek. We would stay here again. Recommend Mama Lena taverna which is very close by up the hill.

We arrived at 2:30 am, 3 hours later than expected, the staff helped by leaving clear instructions on how to access our room. Our room was excellent. Lena and the staff, throughout our stay, we’re very attentive and discreet. They were very a font of local knowledge which made our adventures special. The gardens surrounding the hotel had an oasis feel, and with the large pool really helped us to relax. It was perfect. Thanks to all staff at the hotel for their care and attention.

My wife and I are just back from staying here for a week. We’d always wanted to go to Santorini but some of the prices are excessive. We saw this hotel advertised and decided to go for it based on the reviews. It’s a great hotel, albeit with no real frills. Our room was lovely, good size and a nice balcony with a great view of the sea (not the caldera side). Fresh towels and a big, comfortable double bed with crisp clean sheets. The towels and bedding can be changed on request as can the room cleaning. Imerovigli is, in our opinion, a great place to stay. It’s situated between Fira and Oia and 5 to 10 minutes walk (up a pretty steep hill) to the top of the caldera so you can find some great restaurants and watch the stunning sunsets. The staff are fantastic and so helpful and friendly and reception is open from about 7am until 11pm. Couple of small points; although because it’s room only (no breakfast option is available) it could do with more cutlery and crockery and even a sink to do washing up rather than use the bathroom sink. Also people need to be aware that there are a lot of quite steep hills and steps. This is a lovely hotel with a really nice pool at a great price, would highly recommend.

Beware, this business is a scam! I booked 5 nights at this hotel through Expedia. Leading up to the trip, I even had email correspondence with someone representing the property. So you can imagine my shock when I showed up, found a dilapidated building, and a closed business. I tried to call the numbers associated to the place and they were disconnected. I immediately had to call around to book another hotel. I also spent 3 hours on the phone with Expedia to get a refund. Overall, a terrible way to start my dream vacation in Santorini.

We did stay in Aelia after my sister’s recommendation and we never regret it. We booked directly with the hotel and we arranged our transportation and a decoration that we wished to have as we were spending part of our honeymoon there. Upon arrival in the hotel, we were greeted the receptionist and she offered us a glass of juice. We were provided with a map of the island and information on areas to visit, restaurants, recommendations etc. It was really helpful for us as we did not have any plan in advance. Moving on to our room, we booked the Apartment which was on the ground level and it was like a little house with our garden! A complimentary bottle of wine & water were provided, too. Our bathroom was spectacular, with a large glass between the bedroom and the shower. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean with anything we may need. Pool area was used from us every day, again we were offered complimentary iced tea, peach juice, water! So gentle! Also, every evening when we returned back to our room, we had complimentary treats which were homemade either cake, cookies, croissants. A nice touch! If you like a hotel that it is on a great value for money, with great staff, clean, amazing location, please do yourself a favor and stay in Aelia!

Hotel was really nice. Nice size pool. Sunrise from our balcony was really nice! Only a few minute walk to the cliff side in imerovigli where you can see the picturesque white buildings. Located in the quiet side of imerovigli however very close to the bus stop & convenient stores as well as restaurants. Can get the bus to Fira & Oia. Fira & Oia can get really busy however you must check both towns out! Both staff & cleaners are all amazing. Always checking on us if we needed help. Antonia is such a lovely person! She helped us with a lot of things, she genuinely cared for us & she made the experience even more amazing. Thank you for everything. Hope to return! 💕💕💕

We stayed in July for both of our birthday's and this lovely small one off hotel can no do enough, we were the only ones around the pool every day but one. It is so peaceful and good location for the bus stop at the top of the hill (1 min walk) and baker (amazing cakes, rolls, fresh filled baguettes) and little shops selling all you need. Huge room, beautiful cave looking bathroom. Cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday, very sweet lady cleaner who always smiled and said hello as did we to her. The staff can't do enough for you, bringing fresh juice to the pool and bringing cakes to your room in the evening (free of charge) so sweet! The little kittens on site are cute and we fed them (probably shouldn't have) but we had friends for life on our balcony each day. I would say, pick this hotel over staying in Fira ANYDAY, Fira is commercialised and over expensive, there is no greek feel in Fira just full of tourists not peaceful at all, it is actually quite dirty and run down. Imerovigili is so clean, eaceful, beautiful views from the top of the island and delicious restaurants. If you are a family or a couple looking to visit Santorini, pick this hotel and this location, you will not be disappointed.

We are here now and cannot understand the bad reviews it’s ridiculous!!! The room we are in is lovely very clean and comfy maid in every day who is wonderful! Yes there is a waste land over the wall but who cares !! Why stand a take a photo of it baffles me !! The staff couldn’t be more helpful even giving us ice tea by the pool - which is beautiful by the way ! It’s a few minutes walk to the caldera with a supermarket just around the corner as well. We have traveled the world with work and vacation for many years and for people to knock this place is hilarious! There is a family of kittens who are so cute ( this is Greece!!!! ) Anyway we would definitely stay again without a doubt it’s very reasonable for santorini! If you want peace and quiet and a place to relax then this is the place or stay on the caldera for 10 times the price !!! 😂
