We stayed at Villa Lukas for 7 nights in July 2020 having been moved from a neighbouring property owned by the same family. We could not believe our luck when we were shown to our suite with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the caldera. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sunsets. The outside area got very hot in the afternoon, so it was great to have a parasol and stand (which withstood the winds) on the balcony, as well as two comfy chairs. The balcony was not very private, though, as it was overlooked from the caldera path above. The suite itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a kettle and TV, as well as a large bathroom. The seating area was spacious and we could look out of the bedroom. The only negative was the breakfast during the period we stayed as the property got used to the precautions necessary during the pandemic. This was delivered daily by a local grocery store and included coffee and a range of pre-wrapped food (croissants, pot of yoghurt with granola, biscuits). It was quite repetitive and the amount of packaging was shocking. One day, it was not delivered until we chased it up. Given that other properties were serving fresh breakfast, this was a little disappointing. The service from staff was great, and we were glad to meet Greg who was welcoming and helpful, going out of his way to allow us a late check out before our flight. We loved our stay at Villa Lukas and would recommend it, especially for its views.

We stayed at Villa Lukas for 5 days and did not want to leave. It is absolutely amazing. The views from our balcony were breath taking. There can't be a better place on the island to watch the sunset. The staff here is so amazing. They go above and beyond to make your is stay perfect. They will help with anything you need. They will help with dinner reservations and getting transportation (4 wheeler or buggy) and to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend for everyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

What an AMAZING view we had of the famous Santorini sunset from our balcony! When choosing our 2 nights stay on Santorini we wanted to make sure that we got to experience the postcard sunsets...and we weren't disappointed. After spending a week in Piraeus and visiting Egypt to see the Pyramids....we chose Villa Lukas to relax before continuing on the Italy leg of our holiday. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming and our apartment clean, comfortable and very local to nearby restaurants...and with a small general store just 10 steps away across the road. Our stay on Santorini was to relax in our room rather than exploring the island (which we will do when we return next time)...and take in the view of the awesome views from our balcony. We will definitely choose Villa Lukas as our preferred accommodation for when we're lucky enough to make it back, and I highly recommend anyone visiting Santorini that is wanting the famous postcard views to do the same!
