Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Villa Lukas for 7 nights in July 2020 having been moved from a neighbouring property owned by the same family. We could not believe our luck when we were shown to our suite with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the caldera. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sunsets. The outside area got very hot in the afternoon, so it was great to have a parasol and stand (which withstood the winds) on the balcony, as well as two comfy chairs. The balcony was not very private, though, as it was overlooked from the caldera path above.
The suite itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a kettle and TV, as well as a large bathroom. The seating area was spacious and we could look out of the bedroom.
The only negative was the breakfast during the period we stayed as the property got used to the precautions necessary during the pandemic. This was delivered daily by a local grocery store and included coffee and a range of pre-wrapped food (croissants, pot of yoghurt with granola, biscuits). It was quite repetitive and the amount of packaging was shocking. One day, it was not delivered until we chased it up. Given that other properties were serving fresh breakfast, this was a little disappointing.
The service from staff was great, and we were glad to meet Greg who was welcoming and helpful, going out of his way to allow us a late check out before our flight. We loved our stay at Villa Lukas and would recommend it, especially for its views.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Breathtaking caldera sunset views, great location (quieter than Oia and Fira but with good restaurants and the best views in Greece) and the manager, Greg, went above and beyond to help us, including making sure breakfast was allergy suitable. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We stayed four nights in the Deluxe Suite and enjoyed our stay immensely. The room was cozy and well appointed. The balcony, a great place to start and end the day, provided a million dollar view out onto the caldera. Staff at the hotel are immensely friendly and attentive; Greg continuously sought our feedback and was only too happy to see to our needs. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.
If you'd like an affordable stay in a quieter part of Santorini that still has all the amenities, I highly recommend Villa Lukas.

Villa lukas was an amazing spot to stay at.
The view was surprising as we had a sunset view from the pool. Walking distance to Thira and a lot of great restaurants around.
Feel free to ask reception they will help you arrange reservations, tours and transportation.

Santorini was definitely one of the islands that we had booked at the very end of planning our trip because there were just too many amazing options. We chose villa lukas after weeks of research and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice. It was about a 10 minutes walk from where the bus had dropped us off. We couldn’t believe our luck when we were shown our suite and were told that we had been upgraded. It was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast option was a bit off due to the pandemic, but it didn’t matter at all because everything else overcompensated for it. I would recommend this place 100% for its location, the amenities, the view and of course the friendly faces that welcome you when you get there.

Stayed in one of the cave suites in early October with my 83 year old mother.
We absolutely loved everything, Greg for organising the seamless transfers and his kindness, lovely Anna who made our breakfast and cleaned our rooms, a really lovely woman.
The suite is very comfortable, loved the location, much prefer it to Oia and Fira. We mostly chilled, watched the sunsets together, people watched and enjoyed the pool. Perfect end to our mother and daughter break.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Absolutely 5* stay from start to finish. I wanted a fantastic caldera and sunset view with a private terrace and wow did I get that. I stayed in a deluxe suite which had about 10 steps down from the road to its own private gate. Inside was pure paradise. Gorgeous terrace with lovely warm jaccuzi not overlooked at all. Jaw dropping view and I was lucky to get a sunset on my 1st night. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom with the largest shower I have ever seen. Absolutey spotless throughout. Enormous and varied breakfast brought to your terrace at a time of your choosing. Good price taxi's arranged by Greg. The service I received from Greg was phenomenal. I suffer from vertigo but Greg was able to give me superb and accurate advice pre visit which meant I could get those views without passing out! He went far beyond other options in advising and helping me. An absolute joy to stay at Villa Lucas, right in the centre of Imerovigli but so quiet and peaceful. I hope I can return. Thanks Greg for an amazing experience.

My husband took me here for my 40th . It was so beautiful and perfect! Really clean, beautiful decor , so romantic . Breakfast on the front was gorgeous. Views insane !! Would definitely return. The only thing that would be better was if the hot tub was warmer. It's not actually called a hot tub , can't remember what they called it but warmer would have been better to stay in at dusk/dark . Thank you we loved it !

Rent an ATV; the entire island is readily accessible (economical, quick and fun). Our trip there was approximately 20 minutes.
Hi Jennifer. There is no pool at Villa Lukas, but the Manager is friends with the manager in a neighbouring hotel and you are allowed to use the pool there. We had a nice room with a shower and a kitchenette with a fridge and kettle but no cooker. Some rooms don't have a terrace right outside the room but nearby which is not as good. Everywhere in Santorini is up steep flights of steps so you get a good leg workout!!
