Visited Santorini during COVID so lovely and quiet. Our hotel was fantastic best view very private with perfect sunset and relaxation with sunset and jacuzzi. The room was lovely and Cosy a little lounge, then bedroom and bathroom with a little kitchenette and walk in. We were outside most of the time as view was so amazing. The location is in the middle of Thira and Oia - closer to Thira and restaurants on the walk to Thira. Loved every minute
We stayed at Andromeda Villas for 4 nights from 21st-25th Sept 2020. Upon arrival via transfer we organised through Hoppa with Notos Travel (really great and on time for a great price!), we had quite the challenge finding the reception. We soon figured out that you just needed to follow the blue arrows all the way down to the pool. There are 2 lifts at the hotel to make the stairs easier to manage but from what I figured, you will need to climb stairs somewhat to get around the hotel. Check in was great and smooth and the staff were all very friendly. We were shown to our room which overlooked the main pool and had the most breathtaking views - I would highly recommend requesting a room in this location if you like to be able to hear the music coming from the pool bar but also have a sense of privacy and a stunning view. We had a shared balcony but it basically felt private as you had your own table and chairs and we couldn't really see our neighbours from our balcony. In the room there were towels, a couple of free bottles of cold water in the fridge, plenty of shower gels and shampoo (no conditioner), some makeup remover wipes and soap. They will refill these whenever you need to! To ensure hygiene, they ask you to put your used towels in a black back provided in the room. They also will not clean your room unless you request this at reception due to COVID. The shower in our room was huge too! The room was a great size and was very comfortable. We had breakfast included with the package we bought which we were really glad to have as it made life easier in terms of not being starving in the morning and spending ages deciding which nearby town to go to for breakfast. It is also an option to have the breakfast if you have not prepaid, but expect a bill at the end of your stay! The breakfast was nothing special but it did the trick. There was things like eggs, yoghurt, cereal, limited fruits, pain au chocolate and croissants, some cold cut meats, cheese, orange juice, coffee etc. Try to get to breakfast early for 8am to get a seat with a view - as you can imagine, these get snapped up pretty quickly! For hygiene reasons, there is a member of staff that puts all the food on your plate - but this doesn't take away from the 'all you can eat' aspect. From what we saw, there was a main pool with a pool bar and some four poster sunbeds and then upstairs there were more of the sun beds with a much smaller pool. Both were as relaxing as each other and it's perfect if all you want to do on holiday is drink cocktails, eat and sunbathe/swim. Unfortunately, during COVID times, the spa was closed which was a little disappointing on the day that the weather was not the greatest and there was nothing much to do! We hired a quadbike for the duration of our trip which I couldn't recommend enough, in my opinion, it's the only way to see the island - so convenient and easy and we always managed to get a parking space right outside the hotel. I can imagine in the busy summer months parking would be tricker but you can always find a space somewhere nearby as you can pretty much park anywhere you want on the island. The hotel also has a resteraunt which is pleasant, we ate there once and it was quite average, I personally would recommend walking or getting transport to the nearby town of Thira for some great food. (please note that food in Satorini is expensive and expect to pay upwards of £19 for any main course - anything cheaper will usually be a non-meat/fish based meal and will be a small portion. Our flight home was not until 10pm so we asked the hotel if we could use the pool and facilities after we have checked out (at 11am) - not only did they say yes to this but they also went above and beyond and told us we could check our of our current room and move to a different room for the day so we have somewhere to be/shower etc during the day before our flight - for FREE! I think this may have been because they had a lot of vacant rooms due to the time of year but this was unbelievable customer service and it shows how much they care about your time at the hotel. Overall, I can't recommend Andromeda Villas enough. It is in a great location for getting to and from Thira and is around a 25 minute quad bike ride/20 min taxi from Oia. Personally, I think the views from Imerovigli were the best on the island so you'll be in for a treat at this hotel!…

Happiness, nice and friendly service, well equipped rooms, continental breakfast, location facing the sunset, many stairs to deal with but this is Santorini 😃 Private terrasses and the view is a dream
We stayed last summer at this beautiful resort, where we enjoyed the views (located on the cliff ). Great effort from the staff, especially from our porter Lucas from Pakistan who sprinted all the way through the stairs with our bags to help us out and of course George the driver. Classy driver , great recommendations and always on time.
