Came to Santorini for a friends wedding and decided to stay at Kasimatis by La Perla and we were so happy we picked this hotel. When we booked it they only had the Honeymoon Suite available on the dates we needed. Was a little expensive but we went ahead and booked it. Room isn’t the best room we’ve stayed in but besides that everything else was amazing and we couldn’t be more happy with our stay. From the friendly staff that went above and beyond to the breath taking view it made our vacation that more memorable. Thank you everyone at Kasimatis for making our stay very relaxing. My wife and I will definitely book this hotel again if we ever get to come back.

We had a week in this lovely cave hotel in April in beautiful Imerilovigli. It is a lovely hotel, beautiful views , excellent service and wonderful staff. Every member of staff was so polite and helpful. The staff were constantly cleaning everywhere and our room was so fresh and clean every day. Breakfast was great with so much choice and delivered to our room each morning . This was perfect position for exploring the whole island. Would definitely recommend:)

Wow! What a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! We were blown away by the location, our room and above all else, the attentive service we received from the lovely staff! This place far exceeded our expectations! We stayed in Room 6 which is a superior room with outdoor nicely heated hot tub and caldera view, and what a room it is! Not just a room but set in a cave on 3 levels, beautifully and classically decorated with a hot tub which is the size of a private pool with a breathtaking view! We watched the sun set in our hot tub which we will never forget! It was cleaned superbly every day with fresh robes and towels including pool towels. We were greeted upon arrival by a lovely lady who told us about the Island of Santorini and provided us with a much needed refreshing drink. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble and staff were quick to solve our hot water issue, they called out an engineer and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Breakfast was served to our room by a friendly man daily and was really lovely with plenty of choice which set us up for the day. The attention to detail at Kasimatis is wonderful, the staff clearly care about their superb hotel and their beautiful Island! I really do not understand how anyone can write a bad review about this place! There were workmen next door painting but they were so very respectful of our privacy and stopped when we were on our balcony. Thank you to everyone at Kasimatis for helping us to make special memories! Thomas and Sarah Allen

This place was awful. We arrived for our honeymoon after booking the honeymoon suite, and there were literally 4-5 construction workers right over our hot tub. The “honeymoon suite” was a shoe box. It was musty & dusty. There were brown water stains dripping down the stairs. At almost $500 a night during off season, this is INSANE. When we told them we were not staying they refused to refund us and insisted on showing us other rooms, which were just as crappy just a little bigger. This place doesn’t look like the pictures. We had to leave and find another hotel and will still be fighting to get our money back.

Dear guests, thank you for taking some time to post your thoughts and your point of view for things that have and … have not happened. First of all, our hotel is open from the 1st of April, and is totally functional from that day. This means that no constructions are taking place and no "workers" are present in our hotel. Surely, since many hotels open mid of April, they still have the right to continue with their renovations and preparations. We can’t forbid it. What we can do is to ask from them to be extra careful when they are working next to our occupied rooms.. This is something we did before even your complaint since we want the best for our guests. As for the comments for our rooms, they look exactly like the pictures, and all the details like the size (square meters) are written in every platform you can find our hotel at, as well as in our official website. In order to be happier, we gave you the chance to change rooms and move to another one with two levels that you didn’t like as well. Unfortunately all the other rooms were booked so, we couldn’t do anything more about this. Also, you mention stain down the stairs… we really don’t know what this means since we haven’t seen it; at least in our hotel. As for the refund you have chosen the non refundable policy and this is what this exactly means; you choose the less expensive option by taking the risk of a non refund. Of course what you forgot to mention is that you tried to find problems in our hotel like stains in the room itself and our front office agent had to came all the way down to prove to you that there isn't such thing. You didn't mention as well that you booked our hotel, even though you wanted to stay in Oia and you confused the two areas. And then you decided to stay in Hmerovigli since it was less expensive. This is what you mentioned, isn't it? Unfortunately, by lying and insulting our property with words like "awful", "shoe box", "musty-dusty" , "crappy" you also insult all these people who visited our hotel and had an amazing time. Please, find some time to read all the reviews for our hotel and admit the truth at least to yourselves, since we and all the other visitors already know it.

I stayed for 5 nights with my partner between 10-15 sept 2021. The accommodation is beautiful and the staff were outstanding throughout our stay - we booked the honeymoon suite (no.13) which was even better than the photos on booking.com We took up the hotels offer on airport transfer which from memory was €40 and we’ll worth it as the driver was waiting for us just outside the airport exit and we were whisked away to the accommodation straight away and the journey lasted approx 25mins (nice air con in the mpv and plenty of room) on arrival at the accommodation we had a lovely greeting from Christina and given a welcome drink and filled out our (included) breakfast preferences from an extensive menu - breakfast was delivered to our terrace every morning on time - stunning view to eat your breakfast I must say. Apartment 13 is lovely - a huge round bed and air con, a full sized fridge and small wall mounted tv (we didn’t use the tv much) All throughout our stay the staff couldn’t do enough for us, arranging taxis, wine tasting and anything else we wanted. The pool area is lovely and also a good place to have a drink before heading out. The hotel is “cut in two” by the coast path that runs from Oia to Fira/Thira (we ventured to Fira a couple of times by foot and the walk is breathtaking - the view is amazing and it was great to see other hotels right next to the path - although not sure I’d like to bathe in a hot tub right on the path as was the location of them in some of the other hotels/apartments. Be prepared for a lot of “step” training if walking to/from Fira…on our second walk we stopped a couple of times for “light” refreshments :-) The outdoor hot tub on the balcony of apt13 was amazing - we spent time each day chilling in it…even on returning after dinner several nights with a bottle of wine - I never got fed up of the amazing view - I honestly cannot fault the accommodation, or the team of staff that work there! The apartment was also cleaned every day and the maids are very unobtrusive and polite All in all an amazing holiday and would love to return soon…if availability is there :-)

Room confirmed (and paid well in advance), transfer from the airport arranged and just 2 days before our arrival in Santorini they canceled our stay without any reasons and pre-notification. Contacted on the phone they were unable to provide a valid reason for cancelling (maybe they needed to have a room available for another guest?) Very unprofessional, disappointing and unacceptable!

We stayed at this hotel after a much needed break from the UK. After booking we spent a lot of time researching hotels and decided we wanted to stay in Imerovigli as it is quieter than Oia and Fira and we are pleased we did. This hotel is an absolute gem. The suite we stayed in was perfect with a jacuzzi on the balcony and space galore. The views of the caldera are unbelievable and you can get the sun in the day and sunset in the evening. The hotel is clean and in a great location for walking to Fira or driving to Oia. We opted to hire a car for a few days and this was the best decision to explore Santorini in full. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and feel it is much better than staying in other more popular areas if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay! Finally the staff ate amazing from Maria and Christina on reception to Marian and Yiannis who provide breakfast/room service and any other needs. Don’t delay and stay in the best location and hotel Santorini has to offer!

Absolutely fantastic stay, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Having researched a number of places in Imerovigli, Fira and Oia I decided to take a chance on this. I was sceptical due to the number of reviews this hotel had compared to other hotels in Santorini, however the price was much cheaper than most places of the same standard so we said we would try it. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. This hotel stay was one of the best we have had, from the time we arrived we received 5 star treatment. We spent 5 nights here and couldn’t find one fault in the place or with the staff. We booked the junior suite, which was spacious, comfortable and well equipped (fridge, freezer, hair dryer, sofa space, TV) we had the most stunning view every evening of the Caldera Sunset. Breakfast was delivered to our balcony every morning with a great variety to choose from. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The staff were so helpful, the lady at reception provided us with lots of restaurants suggestions, view points and information about other things to do. We decided to rent a Quad and rang reception to help, 10 minutes later the guy arrived with one to our door. We had food and drinks by the pool on a few occasions, again the staff were fantastic. Always checking that everything was ok. The area itself has plenty of restaurants, mini markets and cafes less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It’s 25 minute walk to Fira. As we had quads it was only 7 mins drive to Fira and 20 to Oia. As for Covid-19, we felt extremely safe staying here. We were provided with face masks on arrival, the place was spotless and the staff wore face coverings and gloves at all times. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini, thank you for making our stay a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
