This was my second stay at Artemis Villas and I was just as happy this time as the last. Top notch views and service. Gazi is there for everything you need - especially the great happy hour and helping with bags. Angela was very helpful and always offered me a water for my treks around the island. Breakfast is huge and enough for 2 days, really. Would definitely recommend.

This is our third stay at Artemis and they continue to amaze with their warm hospitality and excellent service!

Artemis Villas is a small quaint hotel, located at one of the highest points on the Island, which makes it an ideal location to view the sunset without any obstructions. During sunset Artemis treat their guests to a complimentary cocktail of their choice and they deliver the drinks to their balcony or pool area!

The hotel its also walking distance to the shopping markets, delicious restaurants and lounges. We highly recommend Artemis Villas, they will strive to make your experience in Santorini super special!

Wow.. What a hotel this is. We stayed here at Artemis whilst getting married on the island then into our honeymoon. It was the best hotel we have ever stayed in, the service was top class chris and angela were the best hosts always going the extra mile for us making our wedding experience extra special. The staff - Gazi and the ladies were amazing aswell, so friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in a junior suite with jacuzzi so happy hour at the hotel was fun! The beds were made every day with a different towel design which made me smile each day, elephant day was my favourite.

Absolutely loved our time here, best holiday we have had will definitely be back
Thank you chris and angela for making our stay for our wedding so great

Love Matthew & Carrie

We went on the first leg of our honeymoon. This place is top class. It has 3 free cocktails/drinks every night brought right to your balcony for the sunset. Gus is one of the nicest people ever, sorted out transfers, best things to do really appreciate him. The location is a 20 minute walk to Fira which is perfect, to be honest you could stay all day on your balcony and look at the amazing view. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi and a final night with a pool as we had to change due to our flights. The hotel sorts out any transfers at night time and day time which is much cheaper than taxis. There is also a bus which you can take too. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this villa, great people with even better service. Thank you.

To begin with, this is not a five star luxury hotel. If that's what you're looking for, you'll be disappointed. What it is, however, is a calm, lovely, feel-at-home hotel with impeccable service, and literally perhaps the very best views in all of Santorini.

Imerovigli is for me the best place to stay on the island. It has by far the best views, and is quieter than Oia or Fira, but still having some great places to eat. And it is important to understand that Artemis Villas is one of the highest hotels in the village - that is, it looks down on everything, and there is nothing that looks down on it.

Also, it is isolated from roving tourists, as it is bordered on the right by its own private entry and on the left by a vacant piece of land (something very rare here!). So, unlike many, many (more expensive) hotels in Imerovigli, when you are lounging on your terrace or sitting in your hot tub, you won't have a parade of strangers walking right in front of you.

The service was impeccable and extremely attentive, always asking us if we needed things that we hadn't even thought of! The happy hour drinks were also a nice touch.

The only downside perhaps was that the bathroom is a bit dated and could use remodeling, but it was clean and everything worked fine.

In short, while this is not the most modern or fanciest hotel, it is an absolute gem (and quite a bargain compared to some of those fancier hotels), and is wholeheartedly recommended.

A heavenly gem for honeymooners. Wow wow wow! Husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the studio w jacuzzi. Staff are so friendly and accommodating … they work so hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. View is absolutely breathtaking, we must have taken over 200 photos of just the view over the balcony during sunset. We also enjoyed the happy hour from 19:00-20:00, excellent selection of drinks and nibbles. They also offer a paid continental and cooked breakfast every morning, we thoroughly enjoyed the generous breakfast every day. We loved our stay at Artemis and will certainly be back for our future wedding milestones.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of location of Imerovigli as opposed to Fira or Oia and specifically Artemis Villas. It is a much more private location (although there is never a complete privacy on Santorini 😂) and you get this feel of an authentic small Greek village when walk the streets.
Artemis Villas are managed by a team of people who really enjoy what they do. We travel a lot and notice that even at the top rated hotels you get mediocre service. Not at Artemis! There’s never a request that is too small or too big for them to handle. Angeliki’s response time to your text is under 5 minutes. When it comes to sightseeing or dinner recommendations, it goes without saying she provides an advise that would work best for YOU!
Rooms are cozy, well-kept, breakfast brought to your balcony is amazing, view from this place is, obviously, breathtaking. We also used pool on the very top, it which probably the highest point of entire Imerovigli. Get ready to take endless photos!

We spent 6 nights in a jacuzzi suite for 4 people and we can only recommend the accommodation. The villa was spacious, with balconies on two floors and had an amazing sea view which we are missing already. What was absolutely remarkable was the service: nothing was impossible for Angela, Chris, the Albanian bell boy and the entire staff. They helped and cared for us with absolutely all we needed: print forms, make appointments for the test, give us fresh water for our hikes, offered free delicious breakfast daily, book taxi... Impeccable cleanliness of the rooms. With such service, it is impossible not to wish to be back soon. Small improvement would to increase the speed of the Internet connection, but this is a problem on the entire island, they had the best equipment. Thank you again for everything.

It has really all been said before, but the hospitality of Angela and the team make this place really stand out. Nothing is too much effort. Angela can WhatsApp you with the latest information; this is especially helpful during Covid. Angela messaged to tell me that the local pharmacy were now doing Covid lateral flow tests; which was perfect timing and saved me waiting in a very long queue in Fira. Thanks Angela; and the test was fine for U.K. entry! The rooms are fantastically comfortable; the view takes your breath away and the complimentary cocktails were great during sunset. Thanks so much for everything.

My husband and I love this very quaint resort in Imerovigli!!! We were greeted upon arrival and welcomed very warmly by Angela and Chris with a carafe of white wine, snacks and a large fruitbowl in our room. Gazi, our concierge/butler carried our heavy luggage to our room and throughout our four day stay was always there to help by bringing up our amazing breakfasts, escorting us to our day trip transports, answering our questions, recommending a good place to dine (Mama Lena’s), and serving us drinks with a smile during happy hour. His wife, Dafina was one of our housekeepers. Can’t say enough about how clean they kept the resort and our room was cleaned daily with beautiful towel/floral arrangements. The breakfasts were brought directly to our room where we could enjoy the view while dining. We had a junior suite with a great view of Skaros Rock and the island. Breakfast was soooo good with lots of food and variety, including fresh baked, still warm bread and pastries! Each day we were able to modify if needed. They also helped us with our day trips and their recommendation for our sunset cruise was perfect! Artemis Villas is centrally located in Imerovigli which is a lovely town and is only a short walk to Firostefani, Fira and drive to Oia. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone going to Santorini!!!

Hello, I am sorry for the very late response but I just saw this. Yes, there is a combined seating with tv and kitchenette area when you first walk in. Hope this still helps you. You will love this place!

Are there a lot of steps to reach this villa? If so, are they steep?
Answer from Crossman51
Glasgow, United Kingdom118 contributions104 helpful votes
There are steps most places in Santorini. We stayed in the upper part which was not so many steps up/down from street level but to get to reception was a wee up and down climb. We are not talking sherpa country and provided your legs can get you up and down a few flights of stairs you'll be fine.
