My wife and I stayed in a junior suite for three nights. We had a wonderful experience at Artemis Villas. The level of service and support from the staff is top notch. Between breakfast delivered each morning to the fun happy hour during sunset each night, we throughly enjoyed our time at Artemis. Thank you to Angela, Gazi, and team for making our stay a memorable one.
A heavenly gem for honeymooners. Wow wow wow! Husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the studio w jacuzzi. Staff are so friendly and accommodating … they work so hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. View is absolutely breathtaking, we must have taken over 200 photos of just the view over the balcony during sunset. We also enjoyed the happy hour from 19:00-20:00, excellent selection of drinks and nibbles. They also offer a paid continental and cooked breakfast every morning, we thoroughly enjoyed the generous breakfast every day. We loved our stay at Artemis and will certainly be back for our future wedding milestones.
Our family of five (parents and 20 something adult children) stayed four nights in two suites at this exceptional property in Santorini. The accommodations were more beautiful than the photos. The villas are perched on the cliff overlooking the caldera. You have only to open the door to your villa to witness the breathtaking view that the island is famous for. Each villa is equipped with a lovely kitchenette very well equipped with dishes etc. fresh fruit and coffee/tea are in each unit. The villas each have their own private hot tub and there is a Pool on the top level of the villas with luxurious sun beds equipped with sun protectors if you need them. Our adult children occupied the larger suite with two separate bedrooms and en-suite baths - one of which was over the top luxurious separate shower, soaking tub and exquisite marble sinks. Their kitchen and sitting area (equipped with couches and long dining table) offered considerable room to relax/work at the computer, enjoy coffee. Our room was adjacent but still private and exquisite with high ceilings, en-suite bath and sitting area. We opted not to cook much in our rooms because we discovered the exceptional breakfasts (delivered to our porches) to be a delicious and wonderful vacation perk. This brings me to the most outstanding aspect of this exquisite hotel - the proprietors and staff of Artemis Villas. Angela and Christopher (owners and managers) were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. Angela helped us arrange boat tours, drivers and scheduled all of our dinner reservations (after also making exceptional recommendations). They chatted amiably with us about the history of the property (in Angela’s family for at least three generations). Although they clearly are busy running a very special hotel, they made us feel welcome and well cared for in a manner that felt gracious and intimate . We were especially grateful that they honored our vouchers from May 2020 (casualties of a Covid - cancelled trip). It is also important to mention our gratitude to Gazi and his wife Daphne. Daphne and her housekeeping team kept our rooms spotlessly clean and organized, tending to them everyday. Gazi (an exceptionally fit individual, climbing mountains of steps everyday) shepherded us to meet our drivers in the square, delivered fabulous breakfasts every morning, and served delicious cocktails at every sunset (you are offered three complimentary drinks every evening - per person!) He carried our luggage back and forth (I should emphasize up and down). Gazi was individually responsible for so much ease and relaxation, we are very grateful to him. There were a few reviews that mention proximity to the caldera pedestrian path as a possible negative. This was not our experience at all. Imerovigli is a peaceful town, especially in the evenings. It does not have the noise/bustle of Fira. Although it is very easy to walk to Fira for nightlife and to take a taxi back. Our rooms opened directly onto the path but it was neither noisy nor too busy to interfere with our sleep or enjoyment of the view. (In any event there are several villas in the levels above the footpath so that is an option if you worry about pedestrian traffic.) The sunsets from this spot were breathtaking. Our recommendation is not to hesitate. Booking rooms at this delightful spot was one of the best choices we made in planning our family trip to Greece. Thank you for an exceptionally lovely time and beautiful memories.…
We had a fantastic stay here and everything was better than described in the listing. We did a 3 night stay to start our honeymoon and had the best suite in the bunch. This property arguably has the best sunset views on the island because of how high on the hillside they are. We were treated to champagne and breakfast on arrival and had the best customer service while onsite. The staff was so much fun and they made the stay a memorable one. Free happy hour drinks are served for sunset for 7-8. We didn’t even want to leave the property. If you come here, make sure to order the continental breakfast each morning to enjoy the views each day. Only 10 Eur per person and was very good! Best stay I’ve ever had and looking forward to coming back in the future.
The minute we stepped onto the balcony of our room and saw the view, it took our breath away. Everything about Artemis Villas is spectacular. The view is breathtaking, the room included a small kitchenette and mini fridge, and the bed was super comfortable. Every night we returned in time for happy hour and to watch the sunset. All of that will make you think about coming back but it’s the service that makes staying here a one of a kind experience. Angela, Guz and the rest of the staff were the most attentive hosts we have ever encountered. Every time we texted Angela for a ride to a restaurant or for a ride to the pier or to and from the airport, she arranged everything. The fees were always reasonable and you could tell she really cared about ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Guz was always at our service. He carried our luggage, served us food and drinks and helped my husband with the stairs (he walks with a cane). There is not one thing I would change about this place. If you are trying to decide where to stay, don’t look any further. This place will blow your mind!…
Exceptional views and service! Amazing sunsets! Don't think twice about booking here! The views are spectacular, the room is quaint and the balcony with hot tub is unforgettable! The bed is so comfortable and the shower is strong. The service you get from Angela, Chris and especially Guzzy is unmatched. You will not be disappointed. We made a point to be back by 7 pm for happy hour with 3 free drinks and beautiful sunset from our private balcony. Every day we had a different towel design on our bed with rose petals! Totally romantic. The pool with the sun shade chairs we awesome as well and one of the highest points in Imerovigli. We loved the quietness of this part of the island compared to Oia. You can still go over to Oia but have your place to come back to. I loved the views better from Imerovigli because you could see the entire Caldera. 10 out 10 stars!!!…
This was an amazing place to stay! The staff are friendly and very attentive to your needs. There is A/C and an amazing view. The breakfast delivered to your balcony every morning was incredible. I will most certainly be staying there again.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice of location of Imerovigli as opposed to Fira or Oia and specifically Artemis Villas. It is a much more private location (although there is never a complete privacy on Santorini 😂) and you get this feel of an authentic small Greek village when walk the streets. Artemis Villas are managed by a team of people who really enjoy what they do. We travel a lot and notice that even at the top rated hotels you get mediocre service. Not at Artemis! There’s never a request that is too small or too big for them to handle. Angeliki’s response time to your text is under 5 minutes. When it comes to sightseeing or dinner recommendations, it goes without saying she provides an advise that would work best for YOU! Rooms are cozy, well-kept, breakfast brought to your balcony is amazing, view from this place is, obviously, breathtaking. We also used pool on the very top, it which probably the highest point of entire Imerovigli. Get ready to take endless photos!…
I cannot recommend highly enough this gem along the Aegean Sea. Not only is this hotel perfectly situated to maximize Santorini’s beauty, but we were treated like royalty by the hosts. My wife actually teared up upon seeing the spectacular view of the sea from our private porch. And we both marveled at the incredible level of attention to our comfort and care during our four night stay. This is a remarkable hotel, managed by fantastic and incredibly kind staff. Any future trips to Santorini will be scheduled based upon availability at this hotel. Highly recommended.
Returned last week from a short break at Artemis Villas and I just have to write a quick review of this wonderful location. The apartments are absolutely beautiful with a stunning vista and perfect Caldera location. Angela and her team are faultless. It is so easy to fall for fake smiles and insincere hospitality when on holiday but there is none of that here. Angela and the guys are absolutely superb. There is a real feeling of authentic and sincere warmth and it is quite clear that they have huge pride and ethics over the property and it's family history. The accomodation is beautifully presented and nothing is to much trouble. There is a relaxed and sumptuous feel about the place. We hardly ever revisit locations as it's a big world...but we cannot wait to return. I would have to say that the people at Artemis are the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered on holiday. And as for the location and Santorini in general...well it is quite simply stunning. Inland the island is actually nothing special.. certainly no better than most other Greek islands. But the coastal architecture and layers of white building splattered with beautiful blue church domes are amazing. The rocky cliffs and Azure blue sea offer endless breathtaking views... And then you have the Caldera and beautiful sunsets. Simply a magical holiday venue. …
