We absolutely loved our experience at Anastasis!!The service and attention to detail was beyond.
We arrived around 1am and were warmly greeting by the concierge, Mayra. Mayra and the team gave us a quick tour, ran through our itinerary, and left us to enjoy our welcome drink and cold water. A different breakfast, included in the rate, was provided every morning at the time of our choosing. My friend is a vegetarian and they made sure she had plenty of options. They even called every morning shortly before our breakfast time to see if we’d like to enjoy it on the balcony or indoors (details!). There was always fresh coffee, fruit, a pastry dish and breakfast cooked to order.
They cleaned the room multiple times a day, never disturbing us, and always leaving fresh towels and sweet surprises. The staff was incredibly conscious of covid standards but we also always felt welcome and at home.
Mayra and Katerina went above and beyond with our plans. They confirmed all our bookings and made plans where we didn’t have them. Mayra called every restaurant and insisted we have a table with a view, something I’m sure we never would’ve had without her. We also pre booked a massage for our first morning there. The spa room has a great view of the water and the masseuses did a great job.
The hotel also offers a free shuttle to nearby Fira and Imerovigli that was always timely and responsive.
The property is beautiful. We stayed in the white suite and it was perfect. It’s two stories with a huge balcony and hot tub. Whenever needed, they’ll come prepare the hot tub and anything else you need. We ate lunch and dinner poolside and on our balcony and always enjoyed our meals. Lots of options for vegetarians.
The location is also ideal. We initially thought we’d want a hotel in Oia or Fira, closer to the action. After exploring everywhere, Anastasis is perfectly situated. You are right on the path to both cities but have a relaxing oasis to come home to each night. It has the PERFECT view of the caldera and we’ve never had a better view from our room.
We initially booked a different hotel that cancelled on us a week before we arrived. I can’t believe we found a room available at Anastasis because based on our experience, it should be sold out every night of the season. You must stay here!!

Anastasis Apartments exceeded our expectations on everything! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.
Location: I felt the location was perfect! There’s a walking path next to it where you can walk to Oia or Fira. I love that the apartments are only a few so there’s not a lot of noise in the evenings or in the day if you just want to relax. Oia seemed far more crowded so this location was perfect.
The facility: the pool views are amazing! We were both in the villa and white room and they had a jacuzzi which I loved. They keep the facilities well maintained. Constantly cleaning, sweeping so I always felt I was in a very clean place.
The Staff: what can I say about the staff! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were 100% relaxed! I loved that I could WhatsApp the hotel if I wanted drinks or food. They would immediately bring it over whether to the pool or my room. The staff boys are so nice and polite. The cleaning staff always cleaned our room multiple times a day. The hotel managers would help us get dinner reservations to see the breathtaking sunsets at excellent restaurant and would provide transportation. They would ask our schedule so they could accommodate coffee time and snack. On multiple occasions where we had to wake up too early for breakfast, they left us breakfast the night before. I felt so welcomed by everyone that this is the top reason I will go back here.
The Room: Anastasis was so nice to us that when they realized we had to cut our stay one day short due to the airline cancelling one of our flights, they let us stay in the main villa for one night and it was amazing! The patio is more private since it’s below the hotel and the views are amazing. It’s very spacious as well with a full kitchen, living room and dining area. After that, we moved to the White Room and it was as charming as the first one. The balcony views are as amazing as well. I’m impressed on how fresh the paint looks in both rooms and how all the furniture looks new and well maintained.
Overall, I was extremely impressed by the apartments and the staff. I have 0 complaints. This is the place you need to stay for your next Santorini visit!

We stayed at Anastasis Apartments & Spa in September 2021. No words can describe our experience with this hotel. It was really beyond expectations, and we can truly say that it was the best hotel experience we've ever had (considered we travel a lot). The hostess Despina as well as her son Anastasis and team do everything to make you feel at home. First of all we liked the place very much. The hotel is very boutique style, so no noise or overcrowding at pool etc. The location of the hotel is perfect: within walking distance from Imerovigli (where you have nice bars, restaurants, shops etc). Other nice places are easy to reach: Oia, Megalohori, ... Secondly the service at the hotel is outstanding. They do everything to make you feel comfortable: respect food intolerances and adapt their kitchen to it (I mean, how wonderful is this ..?), make recommendations for restaurants and make your reservations so that you don't need to stress at all, look together with you to your travel schedule and give you advice on what to visit and what not), little surprises on your room (very nice when you come back to your room after a day of exploring Santorini), ... They really go the extra mile for you. For example: they arrange some private jacuzzi time for you with very nice drinks. This all complimentary. In the afternoon they come to you to ask if you like to have a some afternoon drinks/small dessert. All complimentary. Very kind of them. You really feel welcome. In summary, we really recommend this hotel and want to thank again Despina, Anastasis and staff. They really made our holiday (7 days) in Santorini special. Thank you so much <3!

My husband and I recently spent two nights in Santorini and while it is a spectacular island to visit, our best memories will be of our stay at Anastasis. Despina and her team provide a level of hospitality that exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere else. They are able to combine friendly and attentive service with complete respect for privacy. The property has a stunning location and the rooms are beautiful with amazing views, especially at sunset. No need to face crowds in Oia! The delicious breakfasts were served on our terrace, as well as afternoon coffee and other treats. The staff also surprised us with extras like setting up the harmony area for our exclusive use one evening to soak and watch the sunset - what an experience! There was nothing that was too much trouble for any of the staff and we would like to thank them all for our truly memorable stay at Anastasis.

Despina and her staff will truely do anything they can to make your stay in Santorini memorable in every way.
The Breakfast each morning on your patio is truely magnificient- the rooms are outstanding (we stayed in two different rooms- both wonderful) and the location and view can not be beat.
We also enjoyed lunch and dinner (the moussaka was great!), also on our patio.
Every staff member we dealt with was friendly and would go out of their way to help with any request.
Finally- Myra. The arrangements she made for dinner and a spot for viewing the sunset in OIA were every one magnificient. The transportation they provide in the evening was on time and a great amenity (believe me this a great help in crowded and transportation challenged Santorini)
Thanks to the entire Anastasis staff for giving us a wonderful first major post covid vacation.

The hotel and grounds are immaculately kept, with stunning uninterrupted sea views from all of the rooms and the infinity swimming pool - a plus is that there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas for the number of rooms/guests so it never feels crowded and there is always space to relax.
Anastasis is situated in a very serene and quiet location right by the cliffs, with some incredible sea and sunset views (so much better than the crowded sunsets at Oia!) Virtually no noise is heard whilst relaxing by the pool aside from very soft and pleasant ambience music. The walking path from Fira to Oia passes in front of the hotel but there is very little foot traffic + the hotel is slightly elevated so this is not an issue at all (if anything it is extra convenient if you wish to take the lovely walk to the towns nearby).
What sets this hotel apart however is the lovely staff and the exceptional service. We are lucky enough to travel internationally several times a year and enjoyed staying in some exceptional hotels around the world. I can honestly say that we have never received the level of personalised service like in Anastasis. The owner and staff arranged some lovely treats and surprises during our stay which made our time here absolutely memorable. This is in addition to the many complimentary services offered by the hotel such as the evening shuttle to nearby town, afternoon coffee and sunset drinks. The kitchen was also exceptional at catering for some rather difficult dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free etc).
We did ALOT of research before booking and I am so so glad we picked Anastasis - we could not be happier and highly recommend it! Thank you Anastasis team for a wonderful stay - I just wish we could have stayed longer!

If you are looking for a slice of paradise in Santorini then look no further! Anastasis is the place to book! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and have never experienced such excellent service. Despina and her team were amazing from start to finish. Always warm, smiley and so friendly making you feel welcome and part of the Anastasis family. I myself work in hospitality and I can tell you that you will find no better service anywhere.
The team were waiting to greet us when we arrived and Despina the owner showed us around. Now I knew it would be beautiful from the photos previously posted but nothing prepares you for seeing it in real life! It was breathtaking a view I could never get bored of. Natalie then took us to the lounge area to go through the information they required about allergies, breakfast and our stay. Basically they do everything for you, even put up your parasol! They provide a whatsapp service where you text them anything you would like, whether its a drink, lunch, dinner or to booking a restaurant that evening or an excursion. Nothing was too much trouble and they all did it with a smile, warmth and effortlessly.
We stayed in the superior apartment on the ground floor, and it's worth noting that this is a small exclusive resort, designed by Despina herself and I think it only has 10 apartments and is adult only. This gave the whole resort a touch of luxury, sunbeds always available and set up with fresh towels (do not bother to pack towels) as even if you visit the beach they will provide beach towels. The infinity pool was amazing and heated. Whatever apartment you chose to stay in you won't be disappointed, tastefully designed, such comfortable beds, great shower and air conditioned. Maid service twice a day, fresh towels everyday and clean bedding every other day. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job and came while you were out, they were like magic and always left a treat for you to come back to!
Breakfast was delicious and always a nice surprise. You chose what time you would like to eat and they call you 15 minutes prior. Its all set up for you whether its indoor or out. Included in the price is Breakfast, afternoon drinks and sunset drinks. Also one of the evenings you get sole use of the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi with a cocktail. Although there is no restaurant on site they do offer a lunch and dinner menu which you can chose to have on your balcony or by the pool and on our rooftop jacuzzi night they set dinner up for us while we watched the sunset.
To be honest I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about Anastasis but all I would say is going is believing.

We stayed here for 10 days for our honeymoon and it was truly the most amazing place we have ever stayed. If you've found this page, you don't need to look any further, and can relax knowing your whole trip is taken care of once you make the room reservation!
The service is impeccable as everyone has shared. The staff ensures you are comfortable and happy at all times while also making a personal friendly connection. Right from arrival, every single need you have (and didn't even know you had) is covered. Each day consisted of new surprises and a new level of unmatched service.
The location is great being right on the path connecting Oia & Fira, and the view from the rooms and pool is stunning both at sunset and throughout the day. Working with the staff to plan meal reservations and excursions each day was a real value-add. We could have spent hours online trying to find the best restaurants or things to do and it wouldn't have compared to everything the staff set up for us on a day's notice.
There are absolutely no negatives to be mentioned. Thank you to Despina, Maira, Katerina, and everyone else! We already can't wait to come back!

I even shed a little tear when we left!! The whole team are amazing and made our stay very special indeed.
We stayed in the suite with a private hot tub which I can thoroughly recommend, it was stunning and we have never experienced such a beatiful view, we could easily sit all day looking at the Caldera.
Despina and her team strive for excellency which really comes across and it's true....you really do feel like one of the family during your stay. Thank you Myra, Vasilis and the other lovely lady on reception (apologies I don't have your name) who welcomed us with open arms and made all arrangements for us during our stay. I'm pretty sure we had some of the best tables in restaurants because of you guys.
An extra special thanks to the 'boys' Bledis, Ram, Mir and Marian. They work so incredibly hard to make sure you don't lift a finger during your stay. They always seem to appear just when you need them. Thank you, you are all so lovely and very kind to us.
The hotel recommended local restaurants to us, all of which were fantastic. One of the best we visited was Rare, if you like Rib Eye Steak 'Rare' is a must!
The whatsapp messaging, beautiful breakfasts with a stunning view, afternoon coffee break, sunset drinks, turn down service (plus suprises) and outstanding service made this the best holiday we have had and we've been fortunate enough to have a few! There so many other things to mention as most people have done already, but most importantly ... this hotel gets it right!!

My husband and I chose Anastasis for our 10 year anniversary trip. When we arrived at the hotel, THREE members of the team greeted us at the gate and sat us down to get to know us. We could hardly speak because our jaws were on the floor at the incredible view that looks like a painting. When we got to our room we couldn't believe it (we had a balcony room with a jacuzzi). The suite was so spacious, pristine and beautiful but the balcony was HUGE and with the most incredible view of the caldera (it seems that all of there rooms have the view!). We ordered food and were blown away at how incredible their food was (we are picky NY'ers), and watched the famous sunset that lived up to expectations. Over the rest of our stay the Anastasis team was incredible. The anticipated every need, they handled any arrangements for us, triple checking details to make sure everything was perfect. They are constantly doing thoughtful things, too many to list in this review! One evening we came home from dinner and they had lit candles in our room, filled it with flowers and dessert wine and a "Happy Anniversary" sign. When we left Anastasis, for the first time EVER leaving a hotel in my life, I welled up with tears. They even offered to continue to take care of our arrangements while we stayed in Oia!! This goes beyond a hotel experience, beyond pampering in a way that Four Seasons does. When you come to Anastasis not only do you get the best location (out of the madness but close enough to dip into it), the best food, the best accommodations, most beautiful pool/lounging area, but you become part of the Anastasis family. Until we can make it back, we will dream of our return.

AS others have mentioned, it will be fine. One thing to keep in mind, as you explore Imerovigli, Oia or Fira etc, some of the stairways along the paths between hotels are quite steep so descending can be a bit daunting... sorry for the slow response ... life is busy ...need another vacation! You're going to love Anastasis Apts... simply spectacular!!
