Terrible management no consideration for any other guests, music whaling out at 12.45am which has been going on for hours which can only be described as a load of howling cats and chavs singing at the top of their voices. Disgusting that this is even allowed or stopped
The perfect place to stay, eat and get great wedding service. Katerina been a huge support! Can’t thank her enough. Went so perfect! Definitely recommend them for any future visits. Perfect venue for any proposal with breathtaking views!
We stayed to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Although we were there the week before the main season we can’t fault a thing (except the lack of lighting at night to get back to our room, lots of unlit steps!!). The main pool wasn’t open but this didn’t matter at all. The restaurant had a reduced menu but the food was incredible. Breakfast was a feast. All staff were totally brilliant, especially the main man in the restaurant and the lady on reception - nothing was was too much trouble for any of them and they were always happy. Our room was gorgeous and cleaned with new towels every day, thank you. The sunset here was far better than at Fira or Oia, uninterrupted views!! Thank you for a great holiday x
Stayed at Rocabella for 3 nights in April 2022 and would definitely come back! We rented 3 rooms for 3 families. Great location and amazing views! Super nice staff, especially the teams at the reception and restaurant. Could have not asked for better service. The hotel is located right on the Fira-Oia hiking trail!
This hotel is amazing. Amazing view with well designed rooms . Each rooms have separate pool by sea view . Welcome program was very helpful and at check in we received a complete information about all of island. Parking is not in hotel and its opposite of hottest If you want to stay here i prefer surely rent a car , totally for this island rent a car is very logical. The main point in this hotel is its amazing view.
Stayed at the end of Feb for 7 days, and the room, views and amenities were amazing. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so welcoming and helpful, they have the perfect recommendations.
Visited in February and the room was spacious and warm! What a glorious view! Great bed & linen, lovely breakfast was brought to the room and above all very accommodating staff! Many thanks to you all!
I stayed here for 6 nights with my mother in September 2021, and although we absolutely had a 5* stay, I need to caveat that we got a deal through Voyage Prive and paid less than half the £5,300 price that was the going rate on all other booking sites for the same dates, room and length of stay. I might feel more torn about a 5* review if I had paid that much for the stay - would probably downgrade to 4.5* - but that's less a critisism of the hotel, and more a comment on how insane prices are in Santorini! This is a truly fabulous hotel with fabulous views (hard to get a bad on in Santorini to be fair) - and with 3 pools you are spoilt for choice for places to lounge and enjoy the views. Although the hotel is big, it never felt crowded (although that could have been the impact of Covid supressing visitor numbers.) The hotel location is along the path to Oia from Fira, and a 15 minute walk into the nearest town of Imerovigli where there are some lovely little restaurants and grocery shops, and about a 25/30 minute walk into Fira. If you don't like walking you might feel a little isolated - but we loved the walk with the view into town for evening meals! We only really had Breakfast at the hotel, which was tasty enough - quite basic, but done well. Pool service food looked lovely from what we saw, and we didn't have an evening meal there because it looked more fine dining than we were wanting. Service was very discreet, and the ladies at the Reception desk were incredibly helpful - especially when I dropped my sunglasses into the pool late on the first night! Would absolutely stay here again, and recommend to a friend - if they can get a deal. I just don't think that I could justify again for the full price, despite how lovely it was. Keep your eyes peeled!…
We were first timers to Santorini and this particular November in Santorini found the island almost void of any tourists anywhere. I know it is off season, but I think Nov 2021 was especially hard hit. The hotel is beautiful, lovely, but not a 5 Start resort.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing: they picked us up from the airport, organized taxi pick ups whenever we needed it, set us up with an ATV/Quad that got delivered directly to the hotel, helped make dinner and spa reservations for us, etc… The various pools all have views and it was just so peaceful laying out with cocktails in hand. It’s a great location if you want to be in between Perivolos (black sand beaches) and Oia (northern tip of the island). You’re right in the middle so the travel time in either direction is never too long. We were also a quick ride into the main towns of Fira and Imerovigli, where we had lunch and dinner many nights. They also have their own ATM and parking lot which made it super easy for us get cash and just hop on our Quad and go. The main hiking trail is also right in front of the hotel on the caldera side. We walked to Fira one day (great workout after all the food we had been eating). You could also walk to Oia, as well, so you have options to get some exercise in. Honestly, I liked this hotel because it’s more private and property is larger. The rooms aren’t stacked on top of one another, like most other hotels, where everyone walking by or dining can see you sunbathing on your patio. Can’t wait to come back!…
