This hotel is quintessential Santorini vibes. I stayed with my teenage daughter and we soaked it up. Breathtaking panoramic views, not just of the sea but all the white and cobalt blue buildings nestled together. The fusion food here was sublime, Baobuns a daily requirement. Staff all friendly and helpful with booking boat trips and restaurant recommendations. The spa is a must too. One of the best massages of my life. Will be returning. Thank you
My husband and I have just returned from a 5 day trip to Santorini to celebrate my 50th birthday. I have always wanted to visit this island and did lots of research about where to stay. The Iconic was absolutely superb and we could not have asked for anything more. The view from every part of the hotel is breathtaking, the rooms and facilities are immaculate, and the staff cannot do enough to help. Absolutely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Thank you for helping to make my birthday one I shall never forget.
It was a wonderful stay. Best location with great privacy - this town is much better than the jam-packed Oia. Incredible view, friendly staff, cute and spacious cave suite, scrumptious food, extreme cleanliness. The whole stay was so carefree as staff took care of everything for us. Would come back in a heartbeat!
This Beautiful boutique hotel made our stay in Santorini! We just left this morning after a four night visit in the charming Caldera suite which afforded stunning views, lovely decor and yummy breakfasts served on our balcony! More than anything I want to commend the amazing staff. Aphrodite was waiting in the square to meet us upon arrival, gave a detailed overview of the property and throughout our stay was always guiding us with great recommendations and alternatives. Maria was awesome in helping us to come up with some solutions to personal needs and Ana and Ioannis were super helpful as well. Maria Elena was an absolute delight, even coming to our room because she wanted to make sure that we had the perfect dinner reservations! Sophia greeted us every day with a cheerful demeanor and big smile. We were treated like extended family and will always cherish the generosity of spirit that was shown to us❤️…
Recently returned from a wonderful holiday at Iconic Santorini. Absolutely stunning location with exceptional service from each and every staff member but especially Elizabeth and Matthias. Can’t fault this hotel, throughly recommended.
We have just come home after a brilliant week at the Iconic. It was perfect. We had a wonderful suite with a fantastic view of the Caldera.Breakfast on our terrace just outside the room was one of the best experiences we have ever had ; the view , the delicious food and the charming and helpful service all contributed to an unforgettable stay.
It is hard to find more superlatives provided by other guests. I would emphasize that unlike other luxury boutique hotels the staff were genuine, warm and eager to break rules to meet my particular needs. It is a unique experience in that most of one’s time is spent outside at private lounge chairs and individual tables. The cave rooms have no windows, but they aren’t needed because one only goes to one’s room to sleep. And the sunset views over the caldera are extraordinary!
We had a fabulous time here - it’s such a magical place. The bed was enormous and we loved having our breakfast served everyday on the terrace - including freshly made juices and coffee. The staff were so friendly and helpful - we absolutely loved this place. Like all hotels in this area, there are steps involved so bring some trainers! The village has a number of good restaurants and Fira is just a 30 min walk along the cost. Beautiful!
We chose to celebrate our honeymoon at the magical Iconic Santorini hotel. The caldera views and the staff really make this place. If I was giving feedback on the staff alone (especially Vaios, Elizabeta, Anastasia and Vilson), I would give them 6 if I could! They are extremely attentive, friendly and nothing is any trouble. The hotel is stunning and lives up to the photographs. It is extremely clean and the breakfast is out of this world! Due to our budget, we stayed in a deluxe room (we hoped we might be upgraded like hotels often do for a special occasion as it was pretty empty, but we found out everyone was celebrating something. It’s definitely an island of proposals, weddings, anniversaries and honeymoons!). The room was gorgeous and huge — and the bed was bigger than our first flat in London! We had ordered a bottle of champagne (paid for) to our room which was waiting upon arrival — a lovely touch! The only downside of the room was that our table outside hugged the building as opposed to the cliff edge like most of the other rooms. We felt a bit tucked out of the way and didn’t get morning sun for breakfast until 11:30 onwards. We therefore made the mistake one morning of moving to an adjacent table in the sunshine (all rooms next to us were unoccupied for the majority of our stay so we didn’t think this would be an issue). Alas, the manager told us off and said we couldn’t move around due to Covid. We appreciated this but it was a bit confusing as there are many communal sun loungers and tables by the pool that everyone uses. It would’ve been nice to suggest an alternative for us, but we did that ourselves and went back to the manager and asked for a solution and she kindly gave us a semi-private table next to the restaurant for one morning in the sunshine. This was much appreciated. My advice is to choose your room carefully and maybe check that the outside space is what you want. My only other qualm was checkout. Majority of guests we met were given late check out until 5/6pm. As our room was in demand, we were told we had to check out by 1pm but could use the spa facilities. This was a nice gesture so we packed accordingly and went walking to Fira once we checked out with the hope of showering when we got back. When we returned, we were told other guests were having massages in the spa and we had to wait. Again, this wasn’t an issue at first (but it could’ve been avoided by realising there would be a clash and perhaps offered us another room — Covid can’t be an excuse for everything as the spa would need to be cleaned anyway), but we waited 45 minutes. With 10-15 minutes before our taxi departure, we were allowed to use the spa. We would’ve planned our day differently had we known this wouldn’t be an option. Finally, upon departure we were told we’d receive a lovely gift! We were very excited! But we left empty handed as someone had obviously forgotten to give it to us :(. I would love to give this place 5 stars but these things added up and tainted our stay. I think it’s important to make every guest feel valued and equal.…
Brilliant Cave type hotel we had a great time, there is a small but nice pool and breakfast was served on a roof patio on bench type tables. We had an excellent holiday and would certainly re-visit. The staff were very helpful and it is just a few steps up an alley to shops and town
