The hotel offers a great view over the area and especially during night time it's just amazing to see all the city lights from this spot. You can even enjoy the view from inside the pool! The breakfast was also nice and the room was comfy, large and had a great balcony to enjoy the evening hours.
Been meaning to write a review for a while about when we stayed back in May 11th (4 nights) . Absolutley a million percent would go back and even more so go back to Nefeli Homes in Imerovigli. Me and my girlfriend stayed and would never go sick of the views and the beauty of the island! Ula who worked at reception was amazing (sorry if I spelt your name wrong if you see this!) anything we needed she was a there. She helped looked into booking the volcanic excursion and directed us in where we need to go. Be seeing you soon Ula and Nefeli Homes!
My fiance and I stayed at Nefeli Homes for a few nights and the service was excellent. Roula and her colleague, another young lady, were so kind! They literally always had a smile on their face and were EXTREMELY helpful with letting us know local foods around town and places to see. They even helped us book an ATV to get around town. Not only that, Roula was kind enough to give us a pamphlet she put together of everything to do, eat, and see in Santorini. I was shocked. I have never experienced such personal and sweet service like this before. You could really tell they loved their island and enjoyed what they do. The rooms were also pretty great for the price you pay. We had a beautiful view of the caldera from our balcony. I will highly recommend this place.
My partner and i stayed at Nefeli homes at the beginning of September 2019 for a birthday celebration. As a place i had always wanted to visit we were really looking forward to the trip. We spent 5 nights at Nefeli and i have to say i was quite disappointed considering the reviews i had read before we booked. Upon check in everything was great, we were well informed about places to visit, restaurants etc. Our room was room number 6 which was pretty much next to reception and (unfortunately for us) directly underneath a terrace seating area. This meant that every morning from 7am the cleaner would be dragging the chairs and tables across the terrace and making consistent loud noise for around an hour. Not ideal when you've come on holiday for a break and a lie in! I let this go for 2 nights but by the 3rd it was really becoming an issue - There was constant noise from around the pool until the early hours of the morning, and then being awoken by the noise on the terrace from 7am - so i spoke with reception to which her response was they will check cameras but they can do nothing and the hotel was full. Which was strange considering the rooms underneath ours seemed empty throughout our stay. The room itself i would say was average (We booked the superior double)- the bed was very firm (depends on your preference) and the bathroom was very dated. It did however have a really nice terrace area with a stunning view. We spent one day around the pool at the hotel but unlike most hotels i have ever stayed in there was no service at the bar to be able to get a drink. Location wise i would say it really depends on what you;re looking for. Imerovigli is a very quiet part of the island, the views are amazing but realistically to be able to eat in a nice restaurant or have any form of entertainment you will have to travel at least 30 mins (walk) to Fira. And 2hours 30 walk to Oia (this was definitely the busiest part of the island with a lot more going on. Taxis are almost impossible to come by so shoes that you can walk a significant distance in is essential! Overall the room, service and lack of sleep due to the noise left us disappointed with our stay.…
We visited as a group of 4 for a 4 night stay. My sister and I had a basic room and our parents had the duplex suite that included a private hot tub on their terrace. Both rooms were immaculately clean, and both benefited from terraces with outstanding views. So good in fact there was a stream of tourists walking for photo shoots just below our apartments which made for some very entertaining people watching! The staff were wonderful! We had the most welcoming reception and they were always on hand for tips or booking us taxis / restaurants etc. We didn’t have the breakfast included, but one day we had breakfast at Nefeli and it was delivered to our bedroom to eat on the terrace. The breakfast was great. Our rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day & just felt like the staff really cared. We were also allowed late checkout. The location was great, a short walk to lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. I would mainly recommend this place because it was great value & the staff were fantastic. Views and location were also awesome but I feel like lots of places in Santorini have that!…
