We stayed a week, in late October, and had a fabulous time. Even though many restaurants were closed in Imerovigli, there were still many opened in Fira. Stayed in the Panoramic Apartment with Spa Bath and Caldera View & it was great! Large King bed in a spacious bedroom, adequate lounge/kitchen, large bathroom with jacuzzi & a separate toilet. Loved the Jacuzzi on the balcony, used it a few times a day! Great location, as it was far enough away from touristy Fira(30 mins walk) with huge cruise boat numbers. Small mini-marts that you can buy a few staples, beers & wine. Our Host, Kosta, was fantastic! He even left us with a bottle of wine after her explained everything on check in. Kosta always went out of his way to make our stay even better, even bringing a treat for us each day & driving us to the airport the day we left. Thank you Kosta & your team.

My family of four stayed three nights. I loved staying in Imerovigli. It was far enough away from the crazy busy Fira and the cruise ship guests and close enough for a short hike into town. The view was amazing but be aware the main path from Fira to Ia runs right in front of the mansion and can interrupt the tranquility. Kosta was a gracious host and did everything we needed and more. I would recommend Santorini Mansion to others just realize there are thousands of options with wonderful views etc.

The place was simply breathtaking ! (The kind of place where everyone just quiets down in awe of the view). The staff was very courteous and thoughtful. The host went out of the way to accommodate us esp the kids. The best thing about Imerovigli is that it has a much better view but is not as crowded as Oia town. would highly recommend this place.

We spent 3 evenings in early October in Imerovigli. You pay for the view and thats about it. The room was nice but not great, clean, walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shopping. We had a private pool but it wasn't heated so it was too cold for to really enjoy in the local fall weather. There is no parking if you intend to rent a car which we found out the hard way. I inquired about parking and was told to meet our contact in a parking lot and where we would be shown to our room. When we pulled in I was told I would have to find parking else where, which is on the narrow streets. I was a bit nervous because of the narrow road ways and the way the locals drive but luckily had no incidents.

The Mansion - actually, it's only a few suites, so if you want one, reserve early. The suites have a simple rustic charm, yet don't seem to suffer for modern amenity. The Georgia Republic owners are tireless at making their property well kept. Everyone gets a full length detail of local tour possibilities that will leave you well informed of all possibilities. The rooms all have patios right off the caldera, which makes for superb people watching. All the rooms give a sumptuous view of the caldera and Kameni - Athinios Bay. Imerovigli is walking distance to Thira, Fira. It is considerably less crowded and touristy than those areas, and especially the sprawling souvenir market of Oia. That means less road traffic. Prices not too steep here in shoulder season. Understand that the owners go the other 6 months of the year with nary a visitor. Hard working, genuine, and extremely helpful, I was most pleased.
