Please do not stay at this hotel. They were unaccommodating, condescending, and heartless people. If you have an emergency or if something goes wrong on your trip, do not expect any help, flexibility, or warmth from them. ALSO be warned breakfast buffet is not available during breakfast advertised hours even though you pay for the breakfast experience!!!! First of all, I have celiac so when I booked this hotel, it was because of the breakfast buffet. I specifically spent a lot of time making sure that there were options for me and we would be able to enjoy breakfast with a beautiful view. We arrive at around 3pm to Gold Suites and we have a ferry the next morning at 10:15am. So the only times we can eat breakfasts are from 8-8:30 and 8:30-9AM. They told me they can’t do those times because they’re limiting 3 rooms per time slot. I then proceeded to almost beg if we could please have an exception for those two time slots because we were going to go on an almost 5 hour ferry without any food. She coldly said no. She then repeated only 3 rooms per time slot and then offered coffee and cold bread at only 5:30-7am! I rejected this because of my celiac. Why are they advertising the breakfast buffet when it’s more of a first come first serve process? If you want to guarantee having breakfast, please don’t book this hotel. I was truly disappointed by this when I paid good money for this service! And they can’t even provide me the service or show some flexibility to accommodate me and do an additional meal for the chefs to cook???? Also, we were here for my grandmas 80th birthday and were a group of 4. There was a problem with the booking agency where the room type and capacity were completely different from the actual booking that the hotel received. Whatever that’s fine — Not the hotels fault. I assumed we could all share the smaller accommodations as the four of us. No. This hotel insisted that they could only do two people because it’s against the rules and “the authority” could come and audit them. The two people at the front desk then proceeded to speak to each other in Greek. Little did they know i studied abroad in Greece before and could hear them insulting us to our faces!!! I was literally so insulted at this point and just wanted my grandmother to have a good time and proceeded to book another hotel for two people in Fira which was super expensive because we had to book last minute and couldn’t find anything available near Gold Suites. We went to this other hotel and they literally laughed at this situation and said we got so unlucky with the people we got and they do not represent Greek people well. They even said what audit?? They even said the 4 of us could stay at the new room we booked for 2 people and they would even bring an extra mattress at no charge! Since Gold Suites was non-refundable, we couldn’t cancel with Gold suites and just go to this other hotel. But please please please if you do not want to be hungry, insulted, and made to leave, do not book this hotel. Despite the Gold suites people looking down at us for having “no money”, I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and these rooms have more of the quality of tacky 2-3 star hotel. But to be fair, the view is incredible and Santorini is gorgeous but you can find that at most hotels in Oia and Imerovigli so please look else where :)

I do or like leaving bad reviews however I need to let people know, that this is NOT a luxury hotel by any stretch. If you can get this at a bargain price, go ahead…but do not pay for luxury. I could go on and on…first, the views everywhere in Santorini are spectacular, as is here. But, this town is near nothing, so to get to anything (food, shops, etc) is a 25+ minute cab ride, and the hotel will gladly call a transfer for you, but they take a piece of the pie! So, it cost us 35EU each way if we were able to get a cab (all in cahoots), but 55EU via the hotel. We were greeted with, breakfast is included, however you must tell us now the time and what you want the day before…oh, and the 830-10:00 time slot is taken already for tomorrow, (luxury)? By the way, the breakfast was good when we were able to take advantage of it. The pool and bar area are very old and the place doesn’t feel clean. The bleach smell was in the air and the bathroom in my room stunk of sewage. The turndown every evening was very nice, good sweets left on the pillow, but this didn’t make up for the disappointment that I had in general. I called my travel agent and she said she will ask that this property be removed from the list of small luxury hotels. Lastly, I was supposed to receive a $50 voucher for extras and was denied this at checkout….beware of the lack of accommodation! Stay in OIa or Fira!

Phenomenal sunset views, and the staff was very helpful. Maria was great, and one of the staff helped us find our tour after the tour company messed up our pickup location. The room was very nice and breakfast was good, we preferred this area rather than busier towns.

This was our fourth stay at Gold Suites and next year will be our fifth. When you arrive you are treated to a bottle of Santorini wine and a fruit plate. The rooms are nice but the views are magnificent. We have a private pool on the balcony and use it extensively. Good breakfasts are brought up to the balconies by a polite staff.

This was me and my wife's 30th Anniversary and the staff at Gold's Suites when above anything we could have expected. They went out of their way to make us enjoy our 5 night stay. We had incredible views with sunsets and sunrise. The entire staff from Maria, Stavrina, Alina and to the wait/bar staff Dimitris and Sotiris were there before we even said hello and what we needed. They made arraignments for us where ever we wanted to go and enjoyed our couples massage as well! What I also enjoyed was the comaraderie they showed us. Your on vacation, your not supposed to be thinking or doing anything, but enjoying yourself and the staff at Gold Suites made our stay one to remember

Awesome place to stay. Maria at front desk was super helpful. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and spectacular views. Was served wine and fruit upon arrival which was so needed after long trip. Then we were served breakfast every morning that was brought to my room. Would definitely be back. Great place to stay

My husband and I highly recommend this place. We also stayed in Fira at another higher end hotel and am glad we decided to spend 2 nights here, wish we stayed here for the entire trip. But pretty much the view here is to die for. This is hands down the best view on the island. I know, I know, everyone comes here for oia (myself included) but trust me the sunset view from your room is so much better here than in oia. Everyone goes to oia for pictures of the blue domes (which by all means) go and get (I did) but while in oia, we even said to ourselves, man wish we were at our hotel for sunset tonight. Breakfast is served in your rooms (again, what a view) and the hospitality was great, Maria and Stavrina were very kind to us, and made our stay even better than what we expected.

We have been for a long weekend in Santorini staying in this hotel in Imerovigli. The position is amazing for the sunset and to walk around. The staff is super kind and they help us to organize restaurants and activities. Breakfast is super good. The suites are big and clean. We had a nice suite with a wonderful balcony with private pool. We recommend this hotel during your stay in Santorini

Very warm greetings from the following staff members that made this stay very special. Thank you All , Stavriua , Alilia, Sotiris, Zawire and Diuritris. (Sorry, if I mis-spelled your names) I was celebrating my Birthday and the staff had a delicious chocolate cake made for me ,several bottles of delicious wine and a fresh fruit platter, were in my room when I came back from the long day adventure. The room was very serene with beautiful views of Santorini. All staff members were very professional and made you feel like you were their special guest. Perfect location, delicious breakfast, very quiet and very peaceful. Loved my spa on the patio. This is a "5 star + property. Definitely will return, and will share with others . Thank you All for a beautiful memory!
