This small but beautiful hotel was the perfect place for us when we visited Santorini with old friends for a family wedding. From the minute we walked through the courtyard to when we walked out again this place made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Yanna and Panos apologised for not collecting us and our baggage from the drop off and then proceeded to smile, laugh and amuse us while they sorted out our rooms. They both cook beautifully, share the ethos of making your stay wonderful and put themselves out for you at every turn. Yanna booked our trips, sorted bus schedules and even became official photographer when we were heading out to the wedding. Without them this a nice hotel, with them it was perfect

Panos and Yanna are wonderful hosts at Casa Florina who really go out of their way to help you have a brilliant stay. The hotel is perfectly positioned with one of the best views of the whole island and the quiet no fuss approach is just wonderful - no music blaring no hotel bar just fantastic hospitality in a beautiful setting. This was our third year at Casa Florina and won’t be our last, it’s a truly special place

A special thank you to Yanna & Panos the management team at Casa Florini for their attentive service and for making it a great stay. The hotel is small boutique in style, my wife said “it’s like a scene from Mama Mia” sitting in the courtyard reading a book with a glass of wine. We stayed in room 7 for 8 nights, our room was large and bed very comfortable with good WiFi service. The hotel location is one of the best in Santorini, (Imerovigli) set on one of the highest points, some of the best sunsets can be seen from here. There are some great local bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The walks from here are breathtaking, we walked to Oia (2 hours) and to Thira (Fira) 20 minutes on a few occasions, you need to be reasonably fit to do these walks! We recommend wine tasting and catamaran tours which can be arranged at the hotel. Thanks again to Yanna & Panos we hope to be back soon.

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
Casa Florina is well positioned in the town of Imerovigli - I think this location makes for a more serene change from Oia and Fira. The views from their balcony are perfect, overlooking Skaros Rock and giving you a great private sunset option should you prefer to enjoy it away from the hordes. We toddled down the hill (literally about 5 mins) to a great little place (Pearl on the Cliff) for cocktails that were not hideously expensive compared to the other sunset view bars there. ie 12 euro vs 20 euro. Yes...12 euro is not cheap either but you are having cocktails over the caldera so deal with it...) The Casa Florina rooms were neat and clean with a comfy bed. Old style shower with curtain but this wasn't an issue. The included breakfast is plentiful. The balcony outside the room overlooked the caldera. There is a small pool at the back of the property, so it doesn't overlook the view, the their large terrace does. You will go soggy if you sit in a pool all day anyway.... The staff there were very helpful, giving advice on transport and food. Indeed we had an ugly 2am departure to catch a flight and despite me assuring her that she did not need to, Yanna was up at 2am to make sure we were ok. That is good customer service! Sweet. If you haven't been here before, be aware that google maps is awful for finding your way around the little streets - if you get lost, just ring the hotel and you will save yourself the pain of dirty looks from your partner when you miss the hotel entrance and navigate down steep, narrow, cobble, calf-punishing hills fro 20 minutes when you didn't need to....Just sayin'.. We saw quite a few more expensive places in this area but I think for the view, the service and the price, Casa Florina is excellent value for money and a lovely base from which to explore Santorini

Let me put this out front, once we reached the property till the time we left this place was absolutely wonderful.... The room was very clean and comfortable, even with our 4yr old, and the breakfast was wonderful each day, on our verandah, weather permitting 😀. Yanna was wonderful and friendly throughout our stay with some great suggestions for food. The view from the property is quite amazing and provided it's not too windy, one of the best places to catch a sunset .. We did it on 2 evenings braving the winds, but worth it. The location is good, a few minutes from the main Street and restaurants, although you do have to manage steps if you want to get to any with a view. The negatives were that whoever was responding to emails kept pestering us about the additional charge for the child even though we had said that we'll handle it once we reach. The bigger one though was that we almost missed our ferry onwards as the cab guy showed up 40 mins later than we had called for... We literally ran the last 200m to catch it just in time. Yanna was very helpful throughout this and showed genuine concern and thumbs up for that. However I would definitely advise to double check and use an alternate travel arrangement.
