We loved the 2 night we stayed here. The rooms are very clean and stylish. The view from the balcony is amazing. Every moment of the day. The fact that you can have your breakfast there is so nice! Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, eggs. They have everything! The location is very central for the area and there are enough restaurants around! The people are very friendly too!
Firstly if you are used to going on holidays to hotels with 300 rooms, 4 pools, 6 bars, 3 restaurants etc. etc. this is not for you. It is in the TUI site as a small and friendly hotel however to a British person it is a bed and breakfast. Now if that's what you are looking for read on. It is the highest hotel on the island so be prepared to climb. It has a beautiful terrace with amazing views, the sunset here was better than anywhere else. The whole place is spotless. It is ran by Yana & Paros (Spelling may be a bit out but...) They honestly can't do enough for you, so, so friendly and helpul.. They put in a shift that people in this country (UK) would refuse to do so be nice to them. The breakfast was ample and they will bring it to your room or on the terrace. Our room, number four, caught the sunrise and as such was very bright very early. A/C was working very well. No drawers in the room if that matters to you. One negative was the shower. Not the water, it was hot enough, the curtain, it stops 2 inches from the ground so the whole bathroom gets soaked, odd. We spent the week from 25th August there, we explored the island on the very prompt bus service for a pretty decent amount and had a really good time. Two things not related to the hotel, 1 Santorini is not a cheap place in any way. 2, Watch the taxi's. We only got one on our last night. When we asked in Thira how much we were told €10, half way there the actual driver said it was that coming back but it's €15 going as it's longer, as it is but not by 50%. If you want a peaceful base for exploring Casa Fl;orina fits the bill. Thank you both.…
We stayed at this hotel because our flight home was cancelled due to the BA strikes and the hotel we were staying in was fully booked. We only stayed in the hotel for one night so it was perfectly adequate for this but I wouldn't personally want to stay there for my holiday. Like the review says the hotel is ok, nothing amazing but not awful. The rooms and bathroom are prity tired and could do with being updated. The staff however were lovely and very friendly.
A small B & B at the highest point in Imerovigli giving tremendous views of the Caldera. Ideal to sit out on the sun deck with a nice glass of wine (or two) and watch the sun go down. Casa Florina has only seven rooms and is very quiet place to relax, with plentiful of tavernas nearby. Casa Florina is run by two lovely people, Yanna and Panos who can't do enough to make your holiday enjoyable. from collecting your luggage from your transport, to giving you advice on where to visit and to the lovely breakfast of your choice brought to wherever you want to eat. This could be your room, balcony or even on the sun deck. Yanna and Panos encompass all the positive things about Greek hospitality. The rooms are good with comfortable beds (not mattresses on on a concrete slab as I have experienced before). My only negative point is that the shower facilities could do with some improvement with only a plastic shower curtain around the shower tray causing the general floor area around the toilet to get wet. Imerovigli is an ideal area to stop and only a 30 minute casual walk to the capital Fira taking in the fine views on the way. …
We had a pleasant stay. The room was quite good and the staff were attentive. We enjoyed the fact that the property was in a quiet location. It was an easy walk into Fira and the bus was easy to find.
