Very good hotel/resort. It fits for someone requires a quiet and relaxed place for holiday. Fantastic ocean view and traditional cave room. 15mins to walking distance to Fira and the blue doom church. Staff are very nice and friendly, upgraded our room for free.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at the Kapari for 4 nights in July 2021 and we couldn't have been happier. Everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The staff is devoted, thoughtful and professional. We had booked a premium, but upon our arrival we had the pleasure and the surprise to have been upgraded to a suite, which we really appreciated. The architecture of the hotel is unique and the scenery impressive. The view on the Caldera is a feast for the eyes. Don't miss the sunset from the pool! We had dinner one evening at the restaurant and we really enjoyed their cuisine: refined, delicate and very tasty. Their breakfasts are also extremely enjoyable! Thank Kapari, we had a wonderful time! Don't hesitate to stay there, you will be delighted.

Santorini is one of my favorite places in the world to travel, so I have been returning over and over again for nearly 20 years. I've been fortunate to stay all over the majestic island in many different places. However, I find myself returning to Kapari every time possible now, as there is no comparison to the overall experience anywhere else. From the lodging, to the service, food, facilities, amenities, location on the island and, of course, the ultimate sunset views, it exceeds expectations. Kapari is a family owned and one of a kind gem. If you seek wild pool parties, this is not for you. It is located in the quietly elegant and tranquil village of Imerovigli, which is centrally located on the cliffs of the volcano's caldera. It sits on a high point of the cliffs, between the two largest villages on the island, Oia and Fira. This is a big point, as not only is Kapari in a good location on the island itself, but it is also at the top of the caldera. If you aren't familiar with Santorini, you should know that the island has steep cliffs and the hotels can be very difficult to access with many steps. Kapari is located at the top of the cliffs with direct road access, so you won't have as many steps to navigate as most of the other hotels on the caldera side. My trips: I brought my mother here for a mother/daughter trip, my boyfriend and I have returned multiple times, I came with a small girls group another time, and I have even returned on my own a few times. Every time has been memorable for different (and some of the same) reasons, and we all look forward to, and reminisce and dream about, returning. ( I should also mention that I am an actress and filmmaker, and filmed an independent feature film on the island several years ago. One could definitely describe me as an admirer of the special island.) Each room is unique, as no two caves are the same. I recommend staying in the Private Residences, but they really are all remarkable. You have your own terrace with a table and private cave jacuzzi, overlooking the caldera and Santorini's iconic Skaro's Rock. Watching the sunset from the Private Residence is one of my favorite places on the island, as there are no crowds or concerns... just the quiet, mesmerizing beauty of the sun as it melts into the sea. I'm including some photos from my trip this summer. I hoped to return in October (one of the dreamiest times to travel to Santorini), but it didn't happen this year. Hopefully, next year though. Whenever it is, I will definitely be back again. Thank you for being my oasis, dear Kapari Natural Resort family!

We are still thinking about the most amazing stay we had at Kapari towards the end of October. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were very well taken care of and had an incredible time. We had a spa room and very much enjoyed having that hot tub bath to relax in after wandering the island. The hotel was perfect location for us as a couple wanting a fairly quiet weekend exploring at our own pace. Coming towards the end of the season meant it was much quieter and this suited us best, not wanting the busy chaos that you hear Santorini can get in the high season while still having atmosphere. We enjoyed a walk to Thira and spent an afternoon wandering around Oia where we got more of a sense of what high season may be like, very touristy and very busy. The views however don’t depend on the time in the season and the hotel did not disappoint in providing those beautiful Santorini views from our rooms and breakfast. The food was just as impressive, with a whole selection for breakfast providing something for everyone and the restaurant is not to be missed. We had a very tasty meal on our first evening and as big lovers of food we were very impressed. We were incredibly impressed, have been asked for the name of the hotel by all our friends and we have no doubt we will be back as soon as we can! Thank you so much for a very special holiday!!

Ran out of hot water at 8:15 am, one of the days I was there. Fantastic restaurant. Not easy to find. Climbing stairs was good exercise. Of coarse the view was fantastic. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable almost all the time

It started out great. Our ferry ran 6 hours late and the hotel tracked it and had us picked up without issue. We arrived and had our bags moved without issue. The reception was warm and friendly. Our room was charming and clean. We had heart shaped cookies upon entrance to the honeymoon suite! The breakfast menu is extensive and the servers are friendly. Only issue there is they may mix up the orders occasionally but no biggie if you are not in a rush. I wouldn't mind it if they had a pad and pen to make it easier. The issue we had was the air conditioning is weak. One of two units felt like it was working while the other felt like it was just a fan. What exaggerates the issue is the hot tub makes the bathroom muggy if the door is closed but warms up the main area if the door is open. The control panel actually says to shut it off to help with the moisture but does not always shut it off. The automatic climate control was not always turning the AC units on either so we had to just keep it on manual on the highest power. The control panel looks cool and you can talk to the front desk through it but can get a little finicky. The location we really enjoyed. Something that surprised me was how reception responded when we were leaving as we told them about the issues we had. We mentioned the hot tub not shutting off and the air conditioners not working properly. The response was that the hot tub had to stay on. I explained that the panel actually says it should be shut off but I got a surprised look. I also mentioned the air conditioning not working properly on auto and not being strong but did not get an acknowledgment or an apology or a "Thank you, we will look into it." It was just brushed off and I was made to feel wrong for letting them know. The issues were not enough to ruin our stay but I would probably try a different hotel if back on Santorini.

We loved the location, the staff, the food and the ambience. Thank you. We have a one bedroom room, with private terrace and easy access to the pool. We dined at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Food was incredible. Reception staff were so helpful helping organize a quad for us, a boat trip and with restaurant recommendations.
