Very nice quite and comfortable place. It doesn’t face caldera but it’s only 5-10 min walk to view caldera. We were on the second floor with sea view. It has little nice balcony where we could see some Santorini countryside and ocean in the far. Very beautiful sunrises from the balcony. If this hotel was on caldera side they would be charging at least 3-5 times more. You stay at a nice hotel and save 100-300EUR every night by walking 5-10min to caldera side.
We couldn’t recommend Vila Libertad enough! Before we even arrived Panos was really helpful providing information and booking us a reservation at Armeni (which we would also recommend). When we arrived Panos and family couldn’t have been more gracious hosts. Nothing was too much bother. The location was great with several bars and restaurants in close proximity (we had a nice meal at 4 seasons). The walk down to Fira was around 25 minutes and had great views of the caldera which we did this a few times. The free breakfast has wide variety of choice with lovely views of the sun rising. The room was very clean and Modern. They were cleaned daily with regular changes of the towels and amenities. Finally through panos’ local connections and recommendations, he arranged several local activities for us, which again he couldn’t of been more helpful. Would urge anyone visiting the island to stay here, as you won’t be disappointed!…
We arrived Santorini late at night and needed a transition night so to speak and this place is a very pleasant surprise. Wonderful staff and service. The host is accommodating. The room looks clean and surprisingly spacious. The bathroom is tidy and neat. They have onsite breakfast. Pool is well maintained and they have pool towels upon request. Wifi works well. Excellent value! Highly recommended.
Everything about my stay was excellent. The host is super friendly, and nothing is too big an ask for him. The room is spacious and clean, with good A/C and wifi. The pool area is nice and peaceful with beautiful views of the sea. Breakfasts are generous and hearty. And to top it off the location is excellent - Imerovigli itself is a nice village to explore with some good bars and restaurants, away from the business of Thira; but Thira is a 20-25 min walk along a path, and Imerovigli is on the beautiful coastal path that takes you to Oia for the sunsets (hour and a half walk). All in all, a beautiful and peaceful stay.
Wish I could stay longer! Really nice swimming pool, clean room, great breakfast and welcoming hospitality of Panos. Great views and walks just 3 mins from the hotel. I can't really think about anything to complain, if you don't want to spend 300USD+ per night in Santorini, this is your place :)
We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi. It was perfect. You can drink your wine and relax. The sea view was perfect and the pool area was a place to relax. The distance from Oia and Foira was perfect. We rent an ATV so we saw the whole island. Mr Panagiotis will hepl you with everything you need. Very clean rooms with facilities and excellent breakfast. We recomend that for couple traveling as it was very romantic!
Mr.Panagiotis was so good person, always was avable to help if something need it and he was very kind and funny guy.The room was very clean and beautiful with all Facilities include inside, the hotel it was in good spot between Oia and Fira. Surly I would like to go again there great trip!!
Lovely few days stay - clean room and bathroom, safety deposit box and hairdryer etc. Buffett breakfast with traditional Greek food. Massive thanks and a big up to Gregory who couldn’t do enough to help. Many thanks
We stayed for 8 nights in October and couldn't have asked for a better location while we were in Santorini. Our hosts looked after us from day 1 when they helped with information about the island. Imerovigli is a great place to be just 20mins walk to Thira, on the highest point of the caldera and removed from the crowds of Thira. Our room was large and clean. The buffett breakfast was overseen by a friendly helpful host. Thank you.
My family of 4 stayed in the 2 bedroom unit this July. It was well equipped and comfortable. Only thing missing from an otherwise great space is a kettle for coffee / tea making, however having our morning coffee and buffet breakfast up on the balcony overlooking the caldera each day was better anyway. Lovely family who own the Villa and Imerovigli itself is such a great spot to enjoy the views and restaurants on your doorstep without the masses of people. One of the few places we came across that has a reasonable sized pool which was a big bonus, especially for the kids.
