Hotel Idi is such a wonderful place to holiday and a fantastic base for the south coast. The hotel is immaculate with amazing gardens and a sense of calm. The staff are all super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are really comfortable and immaculate. They’re cleaned every day. The breakfast is plentiful with every option you can think of. The restaurant is also really impressive- a lot of variety. We’ve never had a bad meal (this is our third year) you get the opportunity to meet with tourists from many other countries. I really can’t recommend Idi enough. It’s great for a few weeks or a few days. We come with our 9 year old son who loves the pool and the freedom. If you’re looking for somewhere with beautiful scenery and away from the crowds, with a very chilled atmosphere - you will not be disappointed. It’s a real hidden gem!…
So quiet, peacefull, kind people with a personal touch to make your stay fantastic! The Lady of the house offers you each morning a special breakfast with fresh fruit from their own garden. Some guests come here for many years. The place to sleep in Agia Galini!
Hotel Idi in agia galini have a high Standard. The family who ownes Idi hotel is the most lovely family you can find. When we woke up in the morning there was always something new and delicious that Asimina has made for breakfast The hotel is also good for relaxing. The beach is close only a few hundred meters from the hotel. And many lovely restaurants in the village of agia galini. We will come back in october. 💕 Best regards Rita Nilsen
A place where you really feel at home. Clean, tidy and well located. The owners so friendly and the Breakfast is the best I had. Variety and quality. Excellent position of the hotel. Lovely town Agia Galini with amazing sea!
My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We were on the 3rd floor with a village view. Upon arrival the owner's son took up our luggage for us, which was nice. The room was very clean, the bathroom was good sized and functional with a countertop (not just a pedestal sink). Water pressure and temperature were also very good. There are blackout shutters to the balcony. These totally blocked out the light, keeping the room cool and dark enough for an afternoon nap. A small TV and fridge were also present. There is a small shared kitchen available to prepare simple meals or grab a plate/utensils for in-room snacks. There is no lift, so you have to take the stairs. The rooms are one, two or three flights up from ground level. Now to the really good part: breakfast! Each evening when we walked through the lobby, the smells coming from the kitchen would have drawn the gods down from Mt. Olympus. When I asked what it was the owner would say with a sheepish grin "It's for breakfast tomorrow, it's a surprise". Breakfast was served at tables for two outside on the front patio and garden, which is beautiful and well kept. (larger tables are available inside) We were told with justifiable pride that most of the vegetables come from their own gardens, that a sweet and savory is served each day, and that there are 10 different meals. Upon hearing this, I wished we were staying for 10 days, not just two! Excellent bread, a fruit plate, vegetable pies, coffee, juice. All of it was delicious and carried us through to the early afternoon. Hotel Idi is a great value in a great location. It is the lowest street down to the 'port' area. There are a few parking spaces out front. I would not hesitate to stay here again.…
We stayed at Hotel Idi 6 years ago, and felt for its lovely owners. Asimina is very helpful and makes a great breakfast - a new one every morning. This year in May/June we decided to go back to check it out again. We were not disappointed. Hotel Idi is as good and cozy as we remembered. Asimina and her husband are still very generous and nice people. By the way the hotel have good rooms and a beautiful view to the sea. We sure will come back.
Where to begin! We spent nine days at this delightful hotel. It sits at the top of Agia Galini within easy reach of all the facilities of the town. But the steps are steep so regular stops to look at the excellent gift shops, or to sit with a coffee, or an ice cream, or possibly even a delicious cocktail are advisable! The small hotel is run by Jasmine and Dimitri, and has been in the family since 1986. The rooms are very comfortable with delightful small bathrooms, and the breakfast is quite amazing and offers different local delicacies each morning - I am a coffee and toast person but my companion enjoyed every bite! The beach can be reached on foot in ten minutes, offers a general store, eating places and lots of sun beds. The owners offer a home from home and that is what we found - thank you very much Jasmine and Dimitri and thanks too to your charming son.…
We stayed in the hotel for two nights. We had a nice and cosy room with a balcony and seaview. Very close to the sea and to the center with a lot of good restaurants. Family owned. The people are very friendly. Great breakfast with local specialities. A really good price for what you get.
This was the best relaxed vacation ever. We were 21 days at IDI HOTEL This hotel is very nice with the kindest hosts. Home made breakfast every morning. You could smell fresh pasterie when going out of the room every morning. Very clean hotel and new bathrooms. The hosts always at your service. We are going back in september.
We stayed here at the start of a 2 week holiday for 2 nights, then for 3 nights at the end of our holiday. But when all was completed we really wished we had just stayed at the Idi for the full 2 weeks. Then hotel is small and the owners are so friendly, they really made us feel welcome could not have been better hosts. The breakfasts are so perfect not to heavy,no full Monty,s but enough to start your day and keep you going until lunch without feeling hungry.Jasmine and Dimitri's are charming people very calm and hospitable. The room we had was on the top floor with great views to the left and straight ahead overlooking the bay,we would recommend room 305 for us it was perfect, clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden area out of the full sun and just the right amount of shade to enjoy a coffee etc.Marks out of 10 has got to be 10++++.…
