Staff on arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The room was average, clean and comfortable. We paid an extra €20 a night to upgrade to a sea which was magnificent from the small balcony. The bathroom was small but ok. It had an open vent high on the wall which opened directly into the next room which reduced privacy. WiFi... More

With its near total German occupancy, this is a somewhat reserved hotel for English nationals. The main issue however is that it fails to live up to its self-styled 'boutique' tag. The room we were given for a 16-night stay was roadside, noisy and extremely small. There was no furniture other than the headboardless bed with one side wedged against... More

Agia Galini on the south coast is a lovely place to stay to get a bit of a feel of an old village albeit much developed now for tourism. The Palazzo Greco is family owned and run and we were made very welcome on our arrival suggesting that nothing was too much trouble. The Palazzo is in a great location,... More

Room was overall OK (bed very comfortable, bathroom tiny). Room overlooked the road so traffic noise. All fine for us there out of season (room deeply discounted and not too much road traffic) but I would have been very annoyed to pay the full rack rate of €120 to sleep on a busy road notwithstanding the fact that the hotel... Pleasant modern hotel set on the main road at the top of the town with parking opposite. Helpful friendly staff. Building is modern, tiled and as such echoes, coupled with a road front and back there is enivatably some noise. Hotel recognises this and provides ear plugs !,, Although its nice wouldn,t stay again due to location , in high... More

We have been on vacation on Crete several times and we are usually taking several trips to unkown places, just to explore the island. Last september we visited Agia Galini and hotel Palazzo Greco. This was one of the cities I would like to return to. The hotel was very nice. It was within walking distance from the central parts... More

The sea view is indeed impressive. But the cost of the room was too high, even at November prices. Room was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was tiny with shower (which had some mildew) that leaked and soaked bathroom floor -- outside of bathroom were two sinks (an odd configuration that wastes space). WiFi worked fine in room. Staff seemed nice. The... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Greco a couple of year's back so hoped it was still as good as we remembered We were not let down. On arrival we were offered a drink and a seat on the balcony before being shown to our room. The manager came out to welcome us back. Room large with sea view, excellent shower... More

We initially booked for 2 nights but stayed for a third to enjoy this lovely hotel and enjoy what the picturesque town of Agia Galini has to offer. Our room was fabulous with wonderful sea views. This beautifully decorated hotel has very helpful staff, a lovely breakfast spread, and is well-positioned for access to the beach and restaurants - the... More

Together with my wife we did spend 2 weeks at the Palazzo Greco. We booked a room with sea view and would strongly recommend to go for such a room as other rooms are on the main street side of Agia Galini and may well be a bit noisy. The room was clean and indeed had a fantastic view on... More
