The Spiros-Soula apartments offer everybody the opportunity to spend their holidays under the Cretan sun. We are located in Lygaria, only 18klm away from Heraklion City 20 from the airport. All of our rooms are full-furnished with a kitchenette, a fridge, a bathroom with a shower, and either a balcony or a terrace. Our hotel is appropriate for family vacations or big companies. You can enjoy your vacation under the Greek sun with the view of the Mediterranean sea. Our Restaurant,you can enjoy a Cretan breakfast around the swimming-pool and taste our Greek specialties for lunch and dinner. You will appreciate our food cooked in Cretan oil.

Our children got bed bugs from the apartment! Still have some marks on them 1 month later. Apartment had mosquitos as well. Had to boil wash all holiday clothing. Hosts reluctantly moved us and then refused a refund for the first few nights in bug infested apartment. Children were miserable most of holiday itching. Hosts said a refund wouldn’t change that so they didn’t want to give one.

Amazing place. If you look for a place with warm kind hearts that wants to make your stay good - go here. My daughter and I is here 10 nights and feel so welcome. True family hotel that is authentic with the best food. The portions is very big so one main course with bread and a salat is enough. The first days I brought doggy bags back to the room :D My daughter is 6 and I looked for a authentic place, I am not to all-inclusive but the comfort with a good food restaurant at the hotel really makes my life easier. The price is average. This is a perfect spot for families or single parents - that looks for beautiful view, clean, comfortable beds, possibility to make breakfast, lunch, dinner in the apartment. A nice pool with room for kids. The nearby beach Ligaria has many slippery stones but the seafood restaurant is indeed worth a visit. Also an ATM. I will recommend renting a car from the hotel for some of the days and go to Anissara beach and visit Aquaworld Aquarium. Lake Kournas with wildlife sea turtles is very beautiful. Taxi from airport €30,- Rent car at the hotel €45,- a day. This hotel is kind heated people who do all they can. Thanks for having us :)…

My friends and I can't speak more highly of the Spiros-Soula family!! We were staying down the road but met them on our first day. They treated us like their own guests all week, giving us advice on where to go and how best to get around. They are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel like part of the family and giving our week so much ease. When we return to Crete we will definitely be staying here. The teams happiness is contagious and it's almost impossible not to laugh when you spend time with them! George, Jiannis and Kostas, we won't forget you ❤️ Amy, Siobhan and Claudia

Awesome food, the Souflaki and Bar.B.Q pasta were the best we ever had. The hosts are very welcoming and made sure our stay was perfect. The room was very clean with a sea view ! A great place to stay during a vacation in Crete, for sure we will return here!

I stayed with my 2 children. We had a room with a wonderful view on the bay. The location is very quiet. The room is simple but very clean and spacious. The communal area is large, nicely kept. The pool is very nice and spacious. The restaurant serve decent food in a friendly and relaxed environment. There are no moskito nets; be aware if you leave windows open at night.

Currently staying here at the spiros apartments 9/10/ 20-16/10/20.. it's a great little place to stay for a base camp,only 20 rooms which makes it very private just a lovely 15 min walk into sidari Town, the apartments themselves are well equipped with good size bedroom and bathroom, private balcony aswel, the swimming pool is very big for size of complex and very deep 2.7 metres at one end...the owners George and Laih along with Faye(barmaid) run this place absolutely great nothing is too much of a problem for them.. Great food(all homemade & freshly cooked) good selection of beers 🍻 & wine 🍷... a proper little Gem 🇬🇷 🍻🍺😎...

This is not 4- or 5-star luxury, so do not be disappointed if your room is basic. These guys do not pretend to be something they are not. The rooms and apartments are as good as they need to be to relax out of the hot Crete sun. A/C in the main room and a balcony to sit and enjoy a cold drink while the sun drops. The rooms are cleaned every other day, with wonderful crisp clean sheets to greet you after a day out. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower was much better than expected. Towels are good, albeit they do not provide beach towels. That's all I reasonably expect from a hotel room, for the money charged. The pool is clean and warm and there are plenty of sunbeds. The food standard is very good and there are panoramic views, which you will see in all the pics. What you do also get, is to spend your all-important holiday with genuinely decent people and a wonderful family run business, who will do whatever is needed to make your stay relaxed, peaceful and pleasant. The team running the complex are all family and close friends and this really shows with their warmth and great hospitality. A lot of the reviews say this, and it really is true. Wonderful people (thank you George and Dominique) and a superb team who will provide whatever you need. This location is very relaxed and quiet. Car hire is a must and there are several local tavernas within 10 minutes’ drive. If you want to really chill out, you can do far worse than this place. …

Me and my cousin wanted a relaxing summer break for just the two of us and it was amazing. Not only was the hotel rooms and outside pool area stunning, they have the best views of the sea and mountains! The staff are absolutely incredible, super friendly and attentive to all your needs throughout the stay and make you feel very relaxed and welcomed. When you couldn't think it would get any better the food was unbelievable, they had everything to offer on the menu and the traditional greek dishes were to die for, not even mentioning the cocktails. Perfect for families, groups of friends and couples! Hopefully will be able to visit again very soon!

We were staying in Dilira villas and we had a few lovely evenings here. The setting and food was superb. The taverna and apartments are owned and managed by a lovely family. Well worth a visit. We all named here as our best taverna of the holiday. We would like to stay here with our children and grandchildren in the future.
