This is not 4- or 5-star luxury, so do not be disappointed if your room is basic. These guys do not pretend to be something they are not. The rooms and apartments are as good as they need to be to relax out of the hot Crete sun. A/C in the main room and a balcony to sit and enjoy a cold drink while the sun drops. The rooms are cleaned every other day, with wonderful crisp clean sheets to greet you after a day out. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower was much better than expected. Towels are good, albeit they do not provide beach towels. That's all I reasonably expect from a hotel room, for the money charged. The pool is clean and warm and there are plenty of sunbeds. The food standard is very good and there are panoramic views, which you will see in all the pics. What you do also get, is to spend your all-important holiday with genuinely decent people and a wonderful family run business, who will do whatever is needed to make your stay relaxed, peaceful and pleasant. The team running the complex are all family and close friends and this really shows with their warmth and great hospitality. A lot of the reviews say this, and it really is true. Wonderful people (thank you George and Dominique) and a superb team who will provide whatever you need. This location is very relaxed and quiet. Car hire is a must and there are several local tavernas within 10 minutes’ drive. If you want to really chill out, you can do far worse than this place. …
Me and my cousin wanted a relaxing summer break for just the two of us and it was amazing. Not only was the hotel rooms and outside pool area stunning, they have the best views of the sea and mountains! The staff are absolutely incredible, super friendly and attentive to all your needs throughout the stay and make you feel very relaxed and welcomed. When you couldn't think it would get any better the food was unbelievable, they had everything to offer on the menu and the traditional greek dishes were to die for, not even mentioning the cocktails. Perfect for families, groups of friends and couples! Hopefully will be able to visit again very soon!
We were staying in Dilira villas and we had a few lovely evenings here. The setting and food was superb. The taverna and apartments are owned and managed by a lovely family. Well worth a visit. We all named here as our best taverna of the holiday. We would like to stay here with our children and grandchildren in the future.
We were staying in the villa next door to this hotel, and were treated like we were long lost family from the first day. George even delivered late night wine to our villa. They make amazing food, have a small store with everything you need while on holiday including fresh bread( still warm when we bought it). They are very knowledgeable in the island and set us up with a day of sailing and it was fantastic! We will have a lifetime of fond memories of the whole Spiros family. If we ever go back we will stay at their hotel for sure. Thanks for everything guys! Xox
My wife and I travelled to Crete with a large group and rented a beautiful villa next to the Spiros-Soula resort. We went there for many meals and refreshments thought our trip. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond any reasonable expectation of customer service. I actually heard one of the staff offer a lift to an elderly woman who had traversed the many hills on foot to have breakfast. Great, reasonably priced food and market items with friendly and helpful staff.
